Instead the dishonest owners are preying on unsuspecting drivers that happen to park at a corner lot at Lewis and State Steet in Binghamton . The lot signs are not posted properly and can not be seen especially when it gets dark. I drove 5 hours for my son's graduation and after celebrating his happy event at a local restaurant nearby I find out that my car was towed away the owners are cooks they demanded $400 to get my car back which I reluctantly had to pay, they ruined my family's day which was supposed to be a happy one. Stay away from this company and don't support their shady business.. They should be banned to do business in Binghamton.

I read negative reviews on Yelp about Val-U Towing after I heard they had been hired and I was apprehensive. My fears were totally unwarranted! Cory, the driver, arrived promptly. He expertly and carefully loaded my car on his truck. He patiently explained how this was done and answered my questions with respect, courtesy and friendliness, all while working on an icy, steep, driveway in sub-20 temps. I was so impressed by him, I decided to travel with him rather than taking an Uber which had been provided. It was a good choice! Despite the almost 50 year difference in our ages, the conversations were interesting and enjoyable. He was always concerned about my comfort. I was most impressed by his mastery of his job and dedication to being a good representative of Val-U towing. I hope they appreciate what a gem he is. This is a long-winded way of saying that while Yelp reviews can be useful tools, they can also be weapons written to hurt a business which may or may not be at fault. I am going to be scrupulous from now on before I trust that the reviewer is right in their assessments. If you need a towing company, I highly recommend calling Val-U Towing.

After initially waiting more than one hour with no arrival, I contacted dispatch and was informed that the wait would be an additional 45 minutes. In total, I waited approximately four hours without a tow truck arriving. At that point I cancelled the request. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occasionally affect response times, a four-hour delay with limited updates falls well short of acceptable service standards for a towing company. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Val-U Auto Towing and would advise others to consider alternative providers.

Tow service 90 minutes out... beautiful spring day.. we could sit on side of highway. Slowly drove the vehicle to gas station.. no help.. our road side suggested a nearby place.. don't sell tires, made it to another place a mile up.. don't have our size tire.. I made a call to Jordan Boudreau He didn't have our size but was going to get and come to us at Carroll's Motors- guy there very nice- sat in his lot and waited for Jordan....he drove over an hour to get the right tire and came back to replace it.. above & beyond.. safety first- kind & friendly.. willing to help. May I add trust.. we then had to drive to his shop to pay.. thank you.. thank you for showing up and helping strangers.. for going out your way.. giving of yourself. You are a blessing.. we arrived home safely 7 hours later in total.
