The new tire wasn't cheap, but I truly appreciate the approach the guys took--get one (matching) tire now, get the rest of the life out of the others, and let's look at different tires when the other three need to be replaced. I didn't feel 'sold' or otherwise taken advantage of, something I think is always top-of-mind in a tire shop (whether that's fair or not is another story).
