Went through the whole Jeep told me we needed a tranny put in it or Rebuilt. We got his rebuilt tranny in and done within four days. He test drove it for about a day and a half gave me an amazing warranty and the Jeep still runs good till this day if we could just get the heater core fixed somewhere that would be awesome. He also checked out another jeep I brought in that my sister purchased at community group Auto those nine speed transmissions are shit. About Jeep and place I got it Stay away Don't buy a 15 Jeep Cherokee limited but especially DONT BUY ANYTHING at that Community Group auto LLC on North South Road. Dishonest, back stabbing, blames customers for the stuff that brakes. I can go on but I WILL NOT LET HIM TURN ME BACK INTO SOMETHING HE CAN'T STOP!!!!! Useless info 1) Friends in low places is a great song... I have many. 2) I stay away from the bars and flashing money around I don't need to compensate for nothing! (Like car salesman) 3) All it takes is one drink one puff of your homeboy or homegirls wax-thc-weed whatever and somebody stops and you don't see them oops now we got big medical bills pains oh boy So PEOPLE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE stay ALIVE with FAMILY!

I figured I would have to pay at least $1,000 or more to get my transmission fixed but after bringing my car to the gentlemen at this shop it turned out to be just a minor problem and was fixed within the same day at a much cheaper price than I thought.

My husband and I had been having a few minor problems with our old 2002 Honda Accord for a while…read morebut, when we went to trade it in, the dealer would only give us $1,000 because the "check engine light" was on. Seriously? Well, we thought it might be the transmission because we had been experiencing some "slipping", so we tried to find one of those big-name places to take a look for us. The Aamco that showed up here on Yelp was not where the address said it was (of course) so we looked again and found Mistech in a Google search. I called to make sure they were actually there and told the gentleman on the phone what had happened. I asked if he had time to take a look and do a diagnostic. He said sure, bring it around 1:00. We showed up and the worker (Jay, I think) came over and plugged his computer into the car. A code came up that said it was the O2 sensor. Now, I had brought this car to "my guy" about three times in regards to the problem with the slipping and the light and he kept telling me it was damp wires. -__- Not only did Jay tell us what it was, he showed us the codes and then proceeded to tell us we could probably fix it ourselves. When I asked how much for the diagnostic, he said, "Nothing." We went to an Advanced Auto Parts store and got the part for $75. My husband replaced it in about five minutes and the light went off and the car suddenly runs like it did when I first got it. Mistech was honest, friendly, and helpful (said we could call later and come back if need be) all for nothing for people who didn't even live in the area! If we EVER have a real problem with our transmission, we will CERTAINLY go back!!!

Tom tells me he does service Audi's and he'll be happy to take a look at it. His diagnostic fee is…read more$59.95 I drop my vehicle off and two days later he calls me saying there is codes coming back into his diagnostic computer. There are 2 cylinders reading faulty. He tests both cylinder with his multi-meter and they are reading ok. He tells me he doesn't have the Audi computer diagnostic tool to read all of the information coming from the car. He says he doesn't service enough of these vehicles to invest $1000 in the correct tool but he spend $4000 on the one he has and it will give him very general readings and is really meant to be used on other vehicles. A few days go by and he finds there is water going into my transmission control module. He offers to purchase a used replacement from eBay for $75 because a new one from Audi is $1500 and he still doesn't know if it will solve the problem. The used one comes in and doesn't work. A week goes by and he can't go any further into my issue, once again he does not have the right tools to copy information from the old computer to the replacement. He says I owe him $431.61, I have to pay him or else he keeps my car with a mechanics lean due to non payment. I am now currently in the same exact position I was when I first started with Tom, except I am less $431.61, I have 2 non functioning TCM's (transmission control modules), wasted a week of my time, and still have to pay someone else to fix my vehicle. This could have all been avoided with an honest original answer about not having Audi tools to service their cars. I found another Audi service tech who's diagnostic is slightly higher than Tom's (99.95) He claims he can read information off Audi's and copy data from TCM's. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE THE RIGHT TOOLS, WHY LEAD PEOPLE ON SAYING YOULL LOOK AT IT THEN CHARGE THEM LABOR FOR REPAIRS THAT ARE NOT DONE! Beware, another shady mechanic.
