I am a 2 time Mazda owner and most recently purchased a 2014 Mazda CX-5 from Wyoming valley motors in March 2013. 7 months after purchasing it, I started experiencing clunking noises in the rear of the vehicle. It was almost like my rear tires were locking up and causing me to spin out. With only $8K miles on the vehicle, I called Kelly Mazda who initially told me I needed to take it to the dealer I purchased from (WVM). Funny thing is they did the same thing to me with my Mazda 3 a few years prior when I called to get an appointment to correct a recall. Needless to say, I demanded an appointment. Brought it in - "Unable to identify the problem." A year later I move to philly and the issues I was experiencing were becoming more frequent so I take the car in to John Kennedy Mazda for the same issues. They were able to identify the problem as soon as they backed my car out of the parking spot. I was driving this car for a year with a broken tie rod and out of whack rear differential. They were shocked that the tie rod didn't completely fall apart leaving me stranded - terrifying to hear as a female who drives through south Philly every day. They also told me they couldn't understand why Kelly Mazda wasn't able to identify the issue that year prior as a service bulletin for my make and model had been sent out regarding possible rear differential issues. On the sales side, there's a reason I purchased both my Mazdas from WVM - great service, super helpful. When I went to Kelly, I was left to roam the lot alone and was simply handed the keys to test drive alone. Being a 24 year female at the time, they didn't take me seriously. I had issues with my daughter's Mazda 3 and the airbag light blinking. After two local garages were unable to complete the repair, I called Kelly Mazda. I have to say, after the conversation I had with Jennie to schedule my appointment, I was less than eager to take the car here for repair, but I needed a Mazda diagnostics, and I gave Jennie the benefit of the doubt that she had had a bad day. I was skeptical going to the appointment, thinking I would be talked into getting things that weren't actually needed. On the day of my appointment I was taken in, earlier than my appointment time. Steve at the service desk was polite. I waited in the waiting area for about an hour, after which time Steve came to tell me the problem was fixed. He showed me a harness and the exact piece that was missing that was causing the problem. Upon check-in, he also found an open recall item, which they took care of as well.
