I supplied a pre-programmed, VIN-matched ECM to keep it simple and cheap. They still tried to tack on a $200-$300 "programming" fee, claiming "your key won't work without it." Reality check: after they installed the ECM, the car started immediately with my original key. No special programming needed. When I asked for the standard GM SPS/TIS programming session log to prove anything was actually flashed, they wouldn't provide it. If programming was necessary or performed, producing that log takes 30 seconds. They couldn't--because the upsell wasn't real. Other gotchas: the diagnostic "credit" only applies if you buy their parts (not disclosed up front), and they hide behind "Global A requires SPS" as a blanket excuse to sell full reflash even when a VIN-matched module starts the car just fine. Post-install, they tried to keep the narrative going; I removed the vehicle to stop the billing creep. Bottom line: they tried to turn a $400-$600 ECM swap into $1,300 with invented "programming" and zero documentation. If you go here, demand itemized labor and the SPS session report before paying for any programming. If they can't show it, walk. I won't be back.

With his assistance, I actually filed my claim while sitting in his office. It turned out that my naive estimate of the damage was way off and I could not drive the car because it was unsafe. Since I did not expect it, I had no ride home. Tom helped me again and drove me from his garage in Scranton to my home in Clarks Summit. It was a tremendous help! Now, I have my car back and I am trilled with the job! All the repairs are done and the car looks great! Guy on phone said to be there at 5 I arrived at 5 and told the guy at the front desk I had an appointment. He had no record of my call & went to check with the manager. Turns out the manager made the appointment for me but the guy at the front desk wouldn't honor the appointment because inspection takes 1 hour. I was there at 5 and they close at 6. The manager is weak for letting his underling dictate what can be done at this location. Plus the manager didn't even have the decency to come out to talk to me but had his desk guy come back and say he had to explain the 5:00 rule to the boss. Hey front desk guy, a little advice. When you're telling someone you won't honor an appointment time, and it's your fault, don't keep a s**t eating grin on your face. It's creepy.
