When I was looking for "new" old car, I brought the one I picked by his shop and he inspected it, put it up on the lift and checked everything out before he gave it a thumbs up. I had called beforehand to ask if I could stop by and he said "Yes, I want to make sure you get a good car. I'll look at it free." There was a light that went on on the dashboard, I brought the car to him and left it there for a few hours. Later when I came back he told me what sensor was causing the light to go on. He said he checked that sensor's part and it was fine, looked over the whole area, to be sure. He said, "I think the sensor is busted, but the part is fine. I could replace the part, but there's nothing wrong with it. Even with a brand new part, the sensor is probably going to continue to make the dashboard light go on." So, he could have just replaced the part, told me the sensor problematic and charged me for the service. But instead, he charged me nothing. Told me to bring the car by to have the computer read the car to make sure that was the only sensor that was misbehaving. Larry cares about his customers, their cars, and their pocketbooks. Anything he has fixed on my car has stayed fixed. When he changes my oil he looks over everything for me. He's a great guy and it's rare to find someone who cares so much about their work and their customers.

My mechanic suggested these guys, as well as one of my friends, and I'm so glad I came here. I think he can offer better deals because he's independent, not beholden to a particular manufacturer. In order to compete with the "big boys" he lowers his prices. Either way, I'm very satisfied with my car.

Remember he told me he could not program the unit . Call AAA for a tow to another mechanic Shawn told AAA they could fix it so AAA would not tow it to another mechanic. It wound up not being the ECU unit but a loose bolt on my starter and a new battery they charge me $888 a little steep I would say that's what happens when you go to a dealer ! Once they have your car they will be charging you big money and lotta extra hours in labor lesson to be learned .....

Of course, when I was transferred to Dallas all went well. They have all my vehicle & personal information at hand and gave me a 10:00 am appointment no problem. The service at TC is excellent and for that reason I am giving them a 5 star rating. I love Tire Choice, but why do they have such an idiotic scheduling system in place?
