Because the park beach is small as it is and they're not far! :) you walk over and place an order. Once you place your order, they will call your assigned number over a loudspeaker like how convenient is that?! You can also eat and their very nice decorated place. I love the theme of the local. Convenience? That pricing though! It is very affordable and reasonable. They know families are out here enjoying themselves so why charge a hefty price? Great little snack shack on the beach. They offer many options for food, not the typical frozen fish sandwich or french fries that you would expect. Service is friendly and fast, even though they must be so hot in there! Everything is fried though, so something to keep in mind. You order at the window and they give you a post it with your number on it. When your order is ready they announce your number over the speaker system they have there and you pick up your order. Super easy! Lots of picnic table style seating and hungry birds looking for a snack. Everything was very clean as it's right next to the showers for people to rinse the sand off before walking up to the eating area. We tried the fried okra, zucchini, and grilled cheese. The fried okra and zucchini were so good. Perfect beach snack! They also offer fountain drinks and frozen lemonade. The lemonade is a bit too sweet for me, but still refreshing when it's 90 degrees at the beach! read more

we didn't eat anywhere before we came down here and we didn't bring any food with us because we planned on eating at the café. Looking online it said it was open but we are here at 2:30 and it is not open. Unfortunately we had to pay to get in before we could see that they were not open. If we leave to go get food at the bar of the street, we have to pay to get back in again. There are no hours posted at the café just a sign that shows they are closed. Again, looking online, it says that they are currently open. No sign on the window saying why they are closed either. read more

We watched the guy grab handfuls of fries off of other peoples orders to put my french fry order together. Instead of dropping fresh fries, everybody's plate for a different party got shorted in order to make my small basket. read more

Came here for the first time with some friends while visiting town on an adventure day. While at the beach we decided to get a bit and ate here. Wife and I went there at noon today for lunch. I ordered a bacon mushroom swiss burger and fries. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and cheese fries. It was really great. I had to commend the chef Vera and front end girl Lisa for making our lunch simply the best. The food was very, very good and done just right. There are no complaints whatsoever. The place is very clean. There were some passing showers this day so the clientele was light. Actually there was no one there but us and the staff. There is no inside seating, but the little grass canopied tables provided enough overhead shelter that kept us and our delicious food bone dry. read more

A Hidden gem! We went for dinner here Saturday evening with the family. There was no wait, the young lady with the pink hair was a sweetheart, and we got our food in about 10 minutes. We ordered two mushroom, bacon, and swiss burger platters and the kids got nuggets and fries. The nuggets were definitely frozen but whatever, the kids ate them like they were going out of style. I'm convinced the fries are too but the burger wasn't which was refreshing. We spent $55.00 on two platters, two chicken nugget and fries meals, and 4 medium root beers. The nugget meals are enough for two kids to share easily and i had to bring half of my burger home. We'll be back! read more

The food is very overpriced and not worth it. The menu is misleading when read back to the customer. The employee said lemonade as in regular lemonade however it was a $5 slushy and not worth it. As well as the burgers they are overpriced. Never thought I'd have to pay for a side to my meal it's insane. The food is not worth it one bit. Willy's has been at Pine Island for twenty years and I have been going to Pine Island beach for nineteen, so I have personal experience behind my opinion! Anyone who is a regular to the beach will tell you how good Willy's food is. The burgers and hot dogs may be specialties, but oh my! The pork tenderloin - I haven't had one as good since the last Indiana county fair I went to, over thirty years ago. Willy may be a little grizzled and grey-haired now, but hey, I'm not in a bikini any longer either. He is so nice as is his staff. There are plenty of covered tables to sit at while you eat and stare out at that gorgeous view that is Pine Island. Willy's takes cash only but there is an ATM available. A true Florida treasure combo - Pine Island beach and Willy's! read more

Willy's is a great stop while enjoying the day at Pine Island Park! We had a fantastic lunch for 2 adults and 3 children for a reasonable price. There is a wide variety of options available and there was something for everyone in the family. The cheeseburger was delicious and the crispy onion rings and cheese fries were a hit. Grilled cheese sandwiches and hot dogs were gobbled up by the kids right away. I can only comment on their New England seafood. Clams, sea scallops and Haddock are fantastic. Though I thought they used different clams for the clam rolls as opposed to the dinner but was told no... same clams. They portion in the rolls is much larger and the bellies a bit smaller, maybe the same clams but they pick the smaller ones for the rolls. I don't know but either way it is Great Seafood. read more

After hanging out on the beach to kill time before heading to our summer rental, we tried the food here at Willy's. They had a lot of menu options. The woman working the register was super friendly and made sure I knew what was available. The other woman working the grill was also pretty nice. They seemed like they enjoyed their jobs which made ordering a pleasure. The food was pretty decent; we were a group of 8 so we ordered an array of food. I especially enjoyed the coconut shrimp. The iced coffee was pretty good too. If I was in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop for a bite to eat. read more

After a morning of kayaking, we pulled our boats in and walked over to Willy's for a mid day lunch. I was surprised with the extensive menu. I ordered crab cakes with fries and coleslaw, hubby had bratwurst and zucchini strips. The food was great, service fast, and the outdoor tables under grass huts provided a nice shady place to rest and enjoy lunch. There is also seating in the sun if you prefer.
