This place is DARLING! Both its historic antique exterior and its interior is quite aesthetically pleasing to me. Inside the mercantile you'll find a shop full of their house made pottery, grocery goodies, books, and gifts of all kinds that can be bought for yourself or another. I purchased some taper beeswax candles on our recent visit. I decided on their seasonal Coconut syrup which I added to their Mocha latte. Decaf espresso is what I opt, they charge an extra $1.50 for that. The service was friendly and our drinks came out quickly as well. As for my latte, it was perfect! The mocha paired really nicely with the coconut syrup. Suffice to say that I'll be back again when I'm in the area. It also truly isn't first time there at all but I narrowed this review down to our trip there yesterday. Check them out! :

We met for a quick breakfast before exploring town. The shop in front is cute but the coffee area in the back is amazing. A great place to catch up and enjoy your coffee. We ordered the Mushroom and fudge coffees with sausage pocket and hummingbird muffin. We thought the coffees were very sweet but enjoyed them with our snacks. The only thing a bit odd was the bottoms of our cups were sludgy, probably fudge and mushroom powder not sure. We enjoyed sitting and visiting in the coffee area. We will enjoy when in town again.

One last stop before going out of town and it was sooo yum. Some of the best espresso we've had this week. They have a lot of cute things within their shop (snacks, natural soap, cookbook) and amazing pastries.

Tried this coffee shop for the first time today and fell in absolute love. Staff is super friendly and there were many pastry dishes to try. I ordered the Mocha and the Cream Cheese and Chive puff and both were amazing. There are beautiful pottery dishes you can purchase and the store has fresh flowers from local florists. Will be my go to coffee bar

Dade City is now on the map for art! Sooooo impressed w/ what I saw & heard upon my visit. Months…read moreago (during the height of Covid), as I walked past this art gallery, I was greeted by the friendly owner. A lover of art (& someone who is appreciative of friendly people), I knew then I would have to return. Today was my lucky day. This gorgeous 3,000 sq ft gallery is owned by Russ & Lee Taylor-- a husband & wife team. Lee, a painter, spent many years as a local public school art teacher. Lee's medium is mixed media. Currently, 25 artists have pieces on display here & available for purchase. All but two artists reside in Florida. A few creations belong to one of my favorite artists (Lloyd Johnson of the Tampa area); they are sold here. Every piece in this gallery is handselected by the Taylor's. This gallery is perfect for anyone interested in abstract paintings, ceramics, jewelry, landscapes, leather, metalworks, mixed media, photography, sculptures, @ items of decor to brighten any home. The name of the business relates to the deep faith these business owners possess. The psalm painted within the gallery is "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands." According to Lee, "As artists we make things with our hands, but more importantly, everything is truly out of our hands because it's in God's hands." A contributing artist here does not need to be Christian-- all (faith or no faith) are welcome for selection providing the art s/he creates offers positivity. This business is not merely a gallery. ART CLASSES are held weekdays & Saturdays for every level of artist (or future artist). There are also periodic art shows-- check out the gallery's Facebook page for more information. One dream of this lovely couple is to introduce art to the local community-- a goal they work toward six days weekly (closed Sundays). I love galleries, especially ones like this that showcase local artists from within our state. This beautiful, immaculate gallery is filled w/ breathtaking pieces that range in price from $10 upward. The space exudes incredibly positive vives-- such a welcoming physical space coupled with an exceptionally nice owner. I can't wait to return!

The hardest part is not only choosing the piece you want to paint but being able to only pick out 6 colors. Lol. All the colors are so pretty but the 6 was just enough. This is such a great place for all and any occasion. Group dates, solo dates, you name it. I truly enjoyed my time and will post the final look of my mug when I pick it up.

This was our first visit and we went with friends and was not told how expensive this activity would be and we didn't know until after we got there. Now I know to be prepared to pay $35-$70 per person depending on what item you choose at this business. My daughter and I selected one of the smallest pottery options (small turtle jewelry dish, small scooter planter) because they were already $29 per piece and on top was an $8 studio fee per person. We couldn't afford anything bigger. It turned into $74 after tax for two people to paint two small pieces. Our friends had been there in the past (they live not far from this location) and noticed the prices definitely went up and shocked how expensive it was. I don't know how the mom with three kids afforded this art activity out who were with us at the same time. Have not seen our finished product yet, hoping all will be okay when our pieces are ready for pickup. But the price structure they have in place was just awful. I've been to many paint your own pottery studios in the area and this business is easily double the price. I won't be a returning customer.

There were a few ladies working who were all super friendly. The only fabrics (barring I think two bolts of solid cotton knit and some utility type fabrics) are quilting cottons. There are many options, and a great assortment of indie patterns, quilting focused notions, interfacings, thread (mettler, the best brand imo), and an assortment of machines. I asked about service costs for my serger that hasn't been serviced since it was purchased nearly 25 years ago. I was quoted $165 which I think is pretty reasonable. I loved all the little finished projects (especially the cute flamingo bags!) and the nice workspace in the back. The store is super clean and feels new.
