Egg & cheese
Kate B.

Authentic ingredients, friendly service, outdoor seating - what more could you want?! We tried a few pastries including the egg and cheese open face sandwich, berries n cream, cinnamon roll and pain au chocolate. Egg and cheese was a favorite! Went back for a chicken salad on croissant. The chicken salad itself was decent, croissant was amazing.

This bakery has many to offer. Bakeries goods has many type of bake goods to offer. The products include sandwiches and pastries. Coffee also offer in the store if you need one. We got several pastries and croissants. The pastries are crispy and delicious. Great for reheat. If you have it overnight. Price is the mid range.

Kouign Amann

Bought the crunchy Kouign Amann, Butter Croissant, and Baguette.food was expensive for the quality. Kouign Amann was crunchy. Service was average. Ambiance: you can sit outside and eat. Not a lot of space inside.

Pain Suisse and Madelines delicious
Thao N.

Located at Krate and the Grove plaza in Wesley Chapel. We came on a Friday night after 8pm and they had BOGO pastries. The Pain Suisse is divineeeee. If you like Pain Au Chocolat, which is the rectangle chocolate croissant, the pain Suisse is more fluffy and soft with more chocolate. The Madelines were buttery and moist too. I forgot to ask for the pastries to be heated and they didn't offer so that was a blip in the experience.

My new favorite menu item!

I love this spot! The croissants are amazing! I love the bacon egg and Gruyère cheese croissant. The service is friendly and helpful. The decor is quaint with many spots to sit inside and outside. They also have many other merchandise options. You must try them!

Every item was very tasteful. Definitely worth stopping by on a early morning or even late night coffee and pastry date

Chocolate Croissant (Pain au chocolat) - Quite tasty!

Nice little bakery at the Krate! Service was excellent... the person who waited on me, was friendly (although busy), asked me if I wanted my Chocolate Croissant heated, and did so. It was pretty good. I would stop here again if in the area!

Friday 9/13/2024 Came across this spot with the help of yelp searching and to add on to it my cousin loves & praises this spot so I had to see the hype for myself. I got an almond croissant $6 and a pain suisse $6.50. - The pain suisse was my favorite of the two. It was a warm & tasty type of croissant with an interior of chocolate chips. - The almond croissant was a flat out miss for me as I didn't like it all. It had a very hard texture at the top and the pastry itself wasn't anything special to me. All in all, the bakery is alright but my cousin definitely overrated this spot.

Pain au suisse was lacking tremendously, there's barely any vanilla cream inside. The croissant is pretty Good, very airy inside and good flavor. I'd rate higher but the pain au suisse could've been much better

Oh croissants with your layers of delightful buttery crunch and soft center- oh how I adore theee. Sometimes a croissant and a cafe con leche or cappuccino is all I need to make a wonderful start to the day Bakery X is a black and white bakery of sweet and savory delights, traditional prepared patisserie. Tucked away in the 'Krates' area of WC, makes it a bit less accessible daily to me, perhaps that's a good thing The savory emmenthaler (Sp?) and ham croissant was filling, I will enjoy the apple tart today!

The Peach pastry and berries danishes are so wonderful, light, flakey and flavorful! Will definitely be making this our baked goods and danish stop!

Located in the Krate. They have limited indoor seating and covered outdoor seating. When I read that this was a French bakery I had to try! Upon walking in, it's very cramped given it's a small crate container location. The parties sitting at the tables just stare at you when you walk in making the feeling uncomfortable. I wasn't greeted and actually stood at the register for a good amount of time before even being addressed. I was almost to the point of walking out. That's because the staff member was actually right in front of me and saw me walk in. She finally turned around and took my order. I ordered the chocolate croissant. She didn't ask if I wanted it warm. Just put it in the bag, rang me up and that's it. No thank you for your business, nothing. The gentleman the walked in as I was leaving was acknowledged. Hmmm The croissant I waited until I got home so that I could warm it. It was very soft and you could tell it was fresh baked. Limited amount of chocolate on the inside which was a disappointment. I've been to Paris and they fill that chocolate and Nutella to the brim of their pastries. Overall disappointing with the service more than the croissant.

She has a huge smile and was wonderful with immediately getting us coffee while also allowing us time to further look at the menu. The menu is extensive with a mix of breakfast, lunch, and brunch options. It was so hard to choose as it all really looked so good. I ordered the chicken and waffles Benedict and he had the biscuits and gravy. My dish (pictured) was seasoned to perfection the hollandaise is rich. The chicken and waffles have a hint of maple syrup to either the waffles or the chicken batter - maybe both. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. It was a beautiful balance of flavors. I took home half the dish. I don't particularly like biscuits and gravy so I didn't take a picture. However, I was told it was delicious and just about the full thing was eaten minus a few potatoes. What I did notice, which is typically my issue with the dish, there was a lot of sausage in the gravy. Nice pieces too. It really did look tasty. So if this is your jam, definitely get it. I was super impressed by the sausage gravy! The restaurant was full but it wasn't too overly loud. My only complaint is that I did feel too close to the other table, typical though for most restaurants though. Service was top notch a beautiful smile with every interaction!

The pizza is a standout--perfectly crisp crust with fresh, high-quality toppings. You can tell they pay attention to the details. I also tried a pasta dish, and it was just as impressive--rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, making it a great spot for anything from a casual dinner to a night out. Service was friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great vibe, and a place I'd definitely recommend if you're in Tampa

It took a while to decide, and I finally went with their wings and a pepperoni pizza. I mean is that an American dinner or what? The wings were super crispy and for breaded wings, they weren't overly heavy. The sauce was delicious and the ranch dressing should win an award! I almost asked for more to do shots! Then the pizza came and even though I ate all the wings, I ate all but two slices of pizza! Man that was good... the crust was perfect, the cup and char pepperoni was done nicely, and the flavor was spot on. I loved it and it was worth it for sure. They had full meals (chicken parm and other pasta dishes) and other lighter options too (salads). They also had the non-traditional pizzas with things like mortadella and arugula too. So more than likely, something for everyone (including a Vegan pizza). Service was spectacular with the waitress stopping by numerous times to refill my half-off wine (Wednsdays IYKYK) and water and soda and just checking if I needed anything. She separated the alcohol from the food and soda pop as requested and I was in and out and on my way to shop in no-time. Yeah, it's in a plaza with lots of stuff to walk around and see!

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. This place will definitely be seeing more of me!
