AMAZING! Walking into Tracy's bakery is like coming home from school & your mom or grandma or favorite auntie has baked something special just for you! It took me back to my childhood as my sister & I were at KRATE celebrating her birthday. My sis chose the chocolate mint parfait which she shared just one bite of with me. It was divine! Great mint flavor bursting through the creamy chocolate. I chose the Oatmeal Caramel Chocolate bar that is one of the BEST layered dessert bars I have ever encountered! Seriously, the caramel oozed onto the plate begging to be scooped up with my spoon. I asked Tracy for a bag to take the final 5 bites home (something to look forward to after my drive home to Tampa!). The shop is set up with such attention to detail in the chalkboard menu, Instagram worthy TREATS sign, display cases that invite you to buy some for now, some for later, & something for a friend who needs a little pick-me-up! As the owner working the bakery every day, Tracy has a lot to share and her passion for baking shines through. A little secret we found out from her is she ADORES cake pops and offers them only on the weekends. All baking is done on sight with no dividing wall between customers & Urban Sweets staff so you get hit with aromas that will transport you to your own childhood memory. Hooray for Urban Sweets! So excited to see they have just opened as of yesterday, May 27, 2022 at the Krates at the Grove. I've been following them for sometime on their Instagram and I can definitely say that not only are their desserts so pretty, they are also tasty and sweet. Urban Sweets sells their cake parfaits, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, edible cookie dough just to name a few of their many options. I tried the lemon parfait and my husband had the red velvet with chocolate raspberry cake parfait. In addition we each had a chocolate chip cookie. All happily satisfied our sweet tooth, and I will definitely be back. They are super friendly and welcoming to their adorable Krate with baked goods baked with love! read more

I finally got into this shop! Turns out I had already tried their cupcakes- thanks to my daughter. They have an amazing Biscoff Cookie Cupcake (and a brownie version too) and I tried the oreo cupcake too- both soft, moist cakes with delightful frosting. Today however- I tried a cookie sandwich with chocolate buttercream icing! Oh good gracious it was delicious. They had a smaller selection than I anticipated- but the small shop is mighty! Another great addition to the KRATE. Who doesn't love a bakery with cupcakes and cookies and sweets oh my. You can tell these are made from scratch and are fresh. We were so stuffed after eating but as we were walking around, we had to stop in to see. We bought the vanilla cake cupcake with buttercream icing and chocolate cupcake with cookie dough buttercream. Also, the oatmeal and buttercream cookie sandwich which was fantastic. We all loved our treats after lunch treats. Didn't get to ask owner if they do call ahead orders for a party. I have physically been to this location to order, as well as ordering off of DoorDash and every single time whether I go in person or over the phone to place an order I'm always greeted with outstanding service. Every sweet treat that urban sweets have they are so good. I probably tried everything on their menu, but my favorite hands-down is going to always be their cupcakes. They're located at the Grove so as you know those are really quaint areas and their particular crate. It's so welcoming it's so nice and I love all the aesthetics that come with it the next time you and your family are there I highly recommend you stop and grab you some urban sweets. read more

Why 4 stars? Great little spot in the Krate area. We had the cupcakes and I have to say, although small, they packed in the flavor and were amazing. Selection was decent as well with 6 options left late in the day of cupcakes. The vanilla with lemon was great but it was the red velvet that really made the mark. I keep thinking about it and want another. Wanted to try more but my waist didn't agree :) Pricing was not bad and the staff/owners were very nice. We will be back for sure! read more

This is a quiet little place with some very sweet desserts. They have a variety of brownies, cookies, cupcakes and cake parfaits. Everything looked so good I had to order one of everything. I had the Oreo brownie, chocolate chip cookie sandwich with buttercream and the peanut butter cake parfait. The brownie was very soft on the inside but had a little crunch on the outside. It was absolutely perfect and the Oreo cream on top just made it that much better. The buttercream for the cookie sandwich was very sweet. I thought it was good but husband thought it was too sweet. The cookie was soft and very good. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors of everything! read more

Bright & cute space. Small area to sit, as it is located in The Krates area. The girl working was nice & helpful. We got cookie dough, cookie sandwiches & caramel oat bars. All were good, but what really took the chocolate chip cookie sandwich over the top was us putting the edible cookie dough on there too. Delicious cupcakes in the Wesley Chapel Krates complex. It's a bit pricey but worth the price. Pictured are 6 cupcakes for $20+tax. This is one small business that is easy to support because their cupcakes are absolutely delicious. From a seasoned baker--their cupcakes are the best cupcakes I've had other than my own. The cake itself is moist and so fresh. And the cupcakes come in a variety of popular flavors--I've had at least 5 different flavors now and all were seriously good. I wish Tracy's store was a bit closer to my home in Sarasota, but I have the good fortune of knowing someone very close to her and who brings me an occasional delicious goodie from the store. I recently had the opportunity to have a Whoopie Pie, an amazing creation and I understand very much in demand. Stopped in for the first time and it was right before they were closing and prepping for a hurricane. They were so nice and answered all our questions we had as we bought quite a few things to try.
