Over the years, it has consistently delivered a wonderful, unique atmosphere that makes every visit feel a little more memorable than your typical meal out. There's a charm to it that keeps you coming back. Their brunch is absolutely fabulous, offering a wide variety of choices that make it hard to pick just one favorite. Whether you're in the mood for something classic or a bit more creative, there's truly something for everyone. One of the things we appreciate most is how accommodating they are. We've dined there with groups of all sizes, and they handle large parties with ease while still making everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, Kafe Kokopelli is a gem in Dade City--consistently great food, a warm atmosphere, and service that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

The place is charming, whimsical, and warmly decorated, with a fun atmosphere that makes lingering easy. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, just right for a long catch-up session. We shared gator bites and Black Grouper tacos, both flavorful and satisfying. Dessert was the indulgent star of the evening: Irish Cream Bread Pudding, rich and comforting. I paired it with a refreshing Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita, which balanced sweet, cool, and just enough kick to keep things interesting. Good food, lively vibe, and the kind of place where conversations stretch on happily. Exactly what we were hoping for.

Serving size is a bit much, but hey lunch for tomorrow! It's the place to go to for Margs. The chips are fine. The service is fast, friendly, and done with purpose, which really adds to the experience. The restaurant itself is well cared for and beautifully decorated with traditional Mexican touches that make it feel warm and inviting. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some truly awesome food. In my opinion, it's authentic Mexican cuisine with a hint of Tex-Mex flair. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is the place to go if you're craving Mexican food in the Dade City area.

Del Carmen was our local go to for all things Mexican food. I had a taste for it since I had been…read morein Dade City earlier in the week, so we decided to go. We both ordered sopes which was our fave here. I ordered one, and my husband ordered the sopes platter with two sopes, rice, & beans, I took his beans with my single sopes. This time the steak tasted different and the flavor wasn't all there. It was ok but definitely have had better ones now. They use to include guacamole too. That's long gone. We ordered a horchata and pineapple agua frescas. Of course these are more expensive and much smaller now. Service was ok but difficult to locate our server. It wasn't too busy either bc it was early in the week. Not sure if we will be back here much. Now I still want more sopes bc this one didn't fill my taste buds for it. Ambiance was loud and echoey with two parties. With a full house, wow bring your headphones bc it will be super intensely loud in case you have sensitive ears like me.

I was able…read moreto try the pulled pork, brisket, and jalapeño & cheddar sausage all in my first visit as I shared food with my partner in crime. We had incredible service with our waitress even bringing out a sample of their armadillo eggs to try! And of course we had to order a palmetto bug to try bc it is the same thing but with pimento cheese instead of cream cheese. Both were spot on and I highly recommend trying if you've never had these BBQ delicacies! Also I was lucky enough to try the carrot cake and it is literally the best I've ever had! I will be back soon!

For service, you order at the counter, they do bring your food to you, and you don't have to bus your table (I don't think)...I wasn't sure as I looked around for trash bins, so I asked the kind people at a nearby how to do that and they said that the restaurant does it. It was very very quick service which was great. Ambiance...It's clean, there's lots of parking, the servers are nice. The location is great. Exiting is a bit weird on the north of the building. If you're looking for old style (no pun intended - bare bones) traditional bbq with Cole slaw, baked beans, Mac and cheese, baked potato, cabbage/bacon, slices of plain bread, carrot cake, banana pudding, or ice cream, then you'll love it. Is it good, yes. Is it for me, eh, I don't think so. Will I give it another chance? Maybe, if someone I know loves it here, I will come with them. If it's just me, and given other choices in the area, probably not; I'm sorry. There just isn't enough choices for me to make it worth while, and that's okay; Timmy Jons BBQ is just...different and that makes it great.
