We stopped by while visiting family. Cute place. It appears to be family run. The ice cream was delicious and the prices were great. Our family tried Cake Batter, Uptown Oreo, Salted Carmel, Peanut Butter, and Rocky Road. They were all good but Oreo and Salted Carmel were our favorites, with Peanut Butter as a close runner up. Wish we tried the Banana Pudding, we heard it was delicious! Waffle bowls were made fresh. Would definitely stop by again if we were in town.

Absolutely delicious! What a gem in dade city! My local friends showed me this spot, and it's the perfect balance of sweetness! It's what you imagine REAL ice cream should taste like, it's not artificial sweetened taste at all. If you're in the area-this is a must try! Their shakes are great!

I wanted to love the brand new local homemade ice cream spot in Dade City. But with me there's something about texture and flavor. Texture grainy, gritty, not smooth. And it melted so fast. My husbands was ok better than mine. Flavor was not pronounced of what the flavors were said to be. I had coconut and cherry. My hubby had red velvet. I also tried Cookie Monster as well. The theme here is a fun 50's theme and it's very spacious. The people working are very nice and helpful. It just wasn't my thing. Perhaps if I had other flavors it may be different and I'm sure it is. But for now, nope melted and soupy didn't work and I had to toss it. This ice cream spot just opened so definitely check it out. It's a couple doors from Little Caesar's and next to H & R Block. We parked in the Little Caesar's Parking lot and walked a couple doors. Very close.

Fantastic ice cream made in-house and the freshly made waffle cones are so good and make the store smell amazing!

Well, it's official. My husband and I are addicted. We stop by Uptown Creamery a few times a week now. It's especially nice that we can stop by after work, since they stay open until 9pm. My husband is pretty stuck in his ways with the Happy To you (birthday cake) icecream. Actual chunks of real birthday cake! My favorite is the Crunchy Joe Brew (coffee, with Heath bars). I've also had the coconut, which has real coconut in it and is deeeeelicious, especially when partnered with the Crunchy Joe Brew... I've had strawberry, a simple but very good ice cream, and the chocolate mint, which is another favorite of mine and was very good. I tried a bite from a friend who'd gotten the butter pecan, and oh my gosh! They were out of stock when we went back, but I'll definitely be getting that next time. The owners are delightful, the atmosphere is super welcoming, and the ice cream is amazing. They make all of their own ice cream, and they make their own waffle cones, so be patient if they've run out of something-- they can't just buy it from the store. If you're in Dade City, this Uptown Creamery is a definite must.

I ordered the orange martini and asked if it was sweet - server said no... it came a couple mins later not full and extremely sweet. I asked her to pls fill the martini glass and use vodka to cut the sweet. Came back as palatable, albeit still sweet. Lunch came and the gumbo was excellent! Wife's shrimp po boy was on a bun, not a roll as expected, and was meh... lacked flavor. Still acceptable and came with an order of fries that was great. When the bill came I noticed the martini (14$) was on the bill as expected, but also had an addl 8$ for an extra shot. I asked what this was for and she said she added more Tito's, so I was charged. So now we have one full Tito's martini (still over sweet) for 22$. Wish I would have just returned the shitty drink and ordered a beer. When no bartender at place and servers need to make drinks this shit happens. Dumb move as we'll not ever go back. Lesson learned. Food is good, but stick with beer in this place.

We both ordered sopes which was our fave here. I ordered one, and my husband ordered the sopes platter with two sopes, rice, & beans, I took his beans with my single sopes. This time the steak tasted different and the flavor wasn't all there. It was ok but definitely have had better ones now. They use to include guacamole too. That's long gone. We ordered a horchata and pineapple agua frescas. Of course these are more expensive and much smaller now. Service was ok but difficult to locate our server. It wasn't too busy either bc it was early in the week. Not sure if we will be back here much. Now I still want more sopes bc this one didn't fill my taste buds for it. Ambiance was loud and echoey with two parties. With a full house, wow bring your headphones bc it will be super intensely loud in case you have sensitive ears like me.
