So I'm definitely going to have to try that next time. Last night after covering the media night at the opening of for wheelies rollerskating rink, I told the Uber to take me right to House of Georgie and I sat there and had a couple of pepperoni slices while watching videos on my phone. Oh, and last time I was there, two different dogs strolled right in at separate times and wanted meat. The owner apparently feeds them. It's so cute.

It's really delicious! My only criticism with this place is that one day I got a slice, and it was old and not warm enough. The owner was not receptive to my complaint. I got 2, one with ham and one with chicken. Their pizzas are "Ottawa style" with thick crust, lots of cheese and toppings buried under the cheese. I usually don't like this type of pizza, but I loved the pizza at Andiamo. I usually don't like crust, but I loved the crust at Andiamo. I don't question these big mysteries in life, lol. The crust was crispy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside. And they spread the sauce and cheese all the way, so you're not just eating plain crust. I love this. The sauce was flavourful and they were very generous with cheese and toppings. The ham was sliced, which I prefer over diced. The chicken was chunks of chicken breast. The medium is 12". They have individual slices too. $5 each or 2 for $10 with a drink. They have seating inside if you want to eat there. The dining area is very clean. Service was excellent. The guy was friendly and welcoming. He repeated my order to me to ensure accuracy. The parking situation is...vague...lol. There's a parking lot behind the store with painted spots but they are labelled belonging to Premium Vintage (the store next to Andiamo). Then there's some "open space" that irregularly shaped with no lines painted. There was a black car parked right up against the pizzeria (I assumed it belonged to the owner/staff) and I parked right next to it. I asked the owner/staff if it was ok and he said yes. So yeah, I guess use your discretion. I'm guessing as long as you don't block any other cars or the driveway you're good. Just be mindful that the entrance to the parking area also leads to an apartment building with its own parking lot deeper in, so you don't want to block that traffic. I quickly looked over their menu and noticed something called the Bronson's Special ("Mushrooms, bacon, green peppers, onions, olives, tomatoes, and pepperoni"). You can't go wrong with that assortment of toppings, so we were off and running. It arrived remarkably fast and was still piping hot when I grabbed the box from our delivery person. I should also note that it felt like possibly the heaviest pizza I've ever held in my hands, which isn't surprising given how loaded it was with cheese and its various toppings. It's a good pizza. I think maybe they went a little too crazy with the toppings and cheese, but everything is so delicious and worked so well together that it wasn't really an issue. I suppose my one complaint is that it was a little light on the sauce, as I could've used some more of it to cut through the richness of the cheese and other ingredients. I hadn't been here for many years but had frequented it back in the 90s and early 2000s when the original owners Bud And Rita owned it. It was great back in those days. Today was an absolute shock, disappointment and somewhat disgrace on part of the ownership who were not in the store. When I walked in to the take out restaurant, the pizza slices were sitting pre sliced in the warmer on the counter, they didn't really look appealing however it was 12:30 and I was hungry. The young lady opened the glass door and proceeded to cut the slice in half which was out of my sight. after doing so she collected my $6 dollars and slid me half a slice of cold pizza across the counter. I waited momentarily for the other half but after asking about it, I was told that the pizza slices in the window are actually 2 slices. This is a large pizza cut in to 6 slices then cut again in half . That's 12 slices at $6 each. That's $72 for a large pepperoni pizza. Finding this out was a shock. I actually only took this piece of cold pizza in order to show folks just how criminal this business is. This is the $6 pizza slice and this is my dog eating it. BTW I did taste it, and it was absolutely awful. This business owner should be ashamed. Never again.

Both the quantity and quality of the toppings were good. They do put the toppings mostly under the cheese, which is not my preference, but it was still ok. The crust was thicker than I like, and a bit doughy under the toppings, but around the edges it was surprisingly crispy and delicious. Service wasn't rude, but not the friendliest. The place is super small, so it's literally just takeout. They sell some pizza by the slice too, although varieties are limited. It's $4.99 for a slice, a dipping sauce, a bag of chips, and a can of pop. The slices are pretty big, like almost as big as my "small" pizza. The pizza shop is in a strip mall with lots of free parking.
