Awesome school. Family run, excellent teachers and staff. Wouldn't send my kids anywhere else.

The care these educators have for the children is evident through their actions. The elements used to teach is amazing and relatable to my child. I often hear my child counting in Spanish while we drive home from school. Ms. Vanessa is our teacher and she is just the best. She expects the kids to act a certain way and they don't want to disappoint her because they love her so much. Overall, this Primrose is definitely up there amongst the best schools in Colorado, as well as, the best decision we have ever made for our little one. Thanks, Primrose Shadow Canyon!

My Montessori director had a Primrose connection and this school out of all the Primroses was recommended to me. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the leadership team including Maria, Lauren and Natalie are. You feel welcome, they truly care about your child and they still know how to run a great business. The teacher tenure is outstanding and it's not uncommon for teachers to have 10+ years at Shadow Canyon. This is mind blowing for the childcare industry and that alone speaks volumes. Happy, engaged employees = happy customers (or in this case, children and their families). I have had both a infant-toddler and a preschooler in this school and was super happy both times. I went out of my way to attend this school until it was no longer feasible with a commute from the foothills. I promise you get what you pay for and it is 110% worth it!

We keep coming back to Merryhill and after a couple of not-so-great experiences have decided it's been a mistake to look elsewhere for a more dedicated and caring staff. We are currently driving about 20 miles in one direction to send our twins here because we know they are loved, supported and cared for by trustworthy individuals. Danielle has been such an amazing principal, going out of her way to help accommodate a quick transition back to Merryhill after our last experience ended badly at another daycare. We trust Danielle and her staff (Logan, Ashley, Dean, Swapna, Suset, Ramya, Monica and Rae, to name just a few!) implicitly and it is an added bonus that they are all wonderful, friendly humans we look forward to seeing every day!

We have had the best experience at Merryhill. We have highly recommended it to all of our friends with daycare-aged babies. Our family is so grateful for all the lovely teachers and staff we've had the pleasure of working with. We love the infant teachers, Ms. Monica, Ms. Maddy, and Ms. Alejandra. We are also so grateful for Ms. Suset, Ms. Kami, and Ms. Ramya in the toddler classrooms. We would absolutely recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and loving daycare for their kids.

My wife and I have been sending our daughter to Smart Bear Learning for just shy of one year now,…read moreso I think at this point we can leave a fair and honest review. My wife and I both work full time, so consequently our daughter had to start attending when she was first eligible, almost right at the 3 month mark. We were both uneasy about this early transition, my wife especially. She was extremely emotional the first day, which of course is normal. We both agree that the next day and each day following was much easier to drop her off, and this was directly related to the staff at Smart Bear. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Amanda really did bond quickly with our daughter and it was apparent how much they do care for all of the kids in their classroom. The two of them are absolutely top notch and we are so thankful to have found them. Our daughter has since graduated from the infant room, and again we were uneasy with the early transition. And again, Ms. Sarah jumped in to make sure we didn't feel that way for more than a day. She is constantly checking on our daughter in her new classroom, commonly holding her when we arrive to pick her up and giving us updates. As a result, our daughter has adjusted well and quickly to the change. She has started walking more, using sign language more, and talking more; since she gets to hang out and compete with the older kids. Everything thus far with Smart Bear has really been an excellent experience. This is coming from someone who can be fairly critical of businesses, as you can confirm by digging through some of my other Yelp reviews. If our impression ever changes then this review will be updated, so, if you are reading this now then you can trust it for what it is.

Top notch care & teaching from their teachers, curriculum, food (it always smells so good!), they have such fun events for the kids & even the entire family! We get to see what our kiddos are up to & learning through the Tadpoles app incl. photos. The teachers & team are always open to discussing any challenges or issues with an open & creative mind. Both of our daughters are so smiley & happy at SBLC, which gives me peace of mind & confidence they are genuinely being cared for. Personally, I love the mommy community at SBLC too! We were so appreciative that they stayed open through 2020, with the upmost care for cleanliness & health. I could go on & on about SBLC, Colleen, Laura & the entire SBLC Team are just wonderful & we're so happy our girls attend this amazing daycare/school!

Now I am wondering if all the 5 star reviews are fake. Unfortunately, I feel completely misled. Instead of being a beautiful outdoor education program, what I witnessed made me wonder how the state could even qualify them for Colorado Shines. Let's suffice it to say that the facility is filthy, the "teachers" were either yelling and looking angry and exhausted or ignoring the small kids. Most of the kids weren't even outside in the teeny tiny play area in the midst of the strip mall. Around every turn I heard screaming and crying from generally unhappy kids who were not receiving any instruction or engagement but rather being ignored. To me the whole place smelled like pee. Also, when I arrived for my appointment to tour, I had to wait around till someone with a child there finally let me in. The center had all my information wrong and they thought I was having a baby in two months when I am not even expecting - I have a 4 and 2 year old (insulting?!). Then I was rushed through the tour by a completely disinterested employee. I had to ask for their prices, but after seeing the place I wouldn't want my kids there even if it was free. For the price, would you want your kids being either ignored or yelled at? Now I get to deal with endless email spam from them asking when I'm enrolling. The whole experience was a waste of time, but honestly I mostly just feel badly for the kids who go there and I would urge others to look elsewhere.

I toured the facility today the male owner asked me questions including where my child came from and how i would be paying. She spent about a month and a half at the learning experience before they closed. We had no issues. All of this was known before the tour I was told great. Proceeded with the tour, taken to my childs room and met the teacher. Was told she would be able to start as soon as ccap processes everything and then they would send me a list of what i needed. About an hour or so after leaving I received a text saying my daughter cant enroll in their program Because of her history at TLE. We have no history it closed soon after we got there. My messages trying to see why were ignored and I was informed they can't discriminate against me. Sadly, a place I was really excited for my daughter to start I now will be filing a formal discrimination complaint with the state and licensing. Its really a shame that people still have to be treated differently
