If you care about your child's well-being, do not send them here. The owners of this daycare are manipulative, controlling, and completely unfit to care for children. They use their authority to intimidate staff and parents alike, showing little to no genuine concern for the kids' well-being. Instead of fostering a safe and nurturing environment, they rule with fear, making irrational and selfish decisions that put children at risk. The level of unprofessionalism is astounding--ranging from blatant favoritism to emotionally abusive behavior. They refuse to take responsibility for mistakes and will gaslight parents into believing concerns are "misunderstandings" rather than addressing real issues. Their incompetence is only matched by their arrogance, as they dismiss feedback and retaliate against anyone who questions them. If you're looking for a safe, supportive place for your child to learn and grow, look elsewhere. We have been at Children's Lighthouse of Parker for about two months. We have been very happy with the service provided. Our child has improved in many areas that are directly attributable to the learning environment. The teachers are absolutely amazing and have met our expectations fully. We have engaged with management and they have been able to accommodate our request for the best interest of our child. While daycare is expensive, I believe it is competitive with others in the area. The facility is very clean, safe, and the learning environment is great for our little one. read more

This is a terrible daycare. My daughter attended for almost the entire year of 2022. During that time, she had 10 lead teachers and countless assistant teachers. Oftentimes we'd arrive to drop her off and it'd be a new face on a daily basis. No one ever introduced themselves to us, and my daughter had no consistency, making her feel less comfortable being dropped off. My daughter needs help with drop off and during the entire time we were there, only a couple of the teachers would help - most of them stood back and let you try to get your child to interact with the other children. When she started getting older, they moved her to another classroom, but when they had staffing issues, they just moved my daughter from room to room without any communication with us. We'd arrive in the morning and never knew which room we were supposed to take her to. They'd then move her in the middle of the day multiple times, leaving us unable to see her on their camera system, and not knowing where to pick her up. We had several instances of arriving to pick her up and she'd have a poopy diaper, causing rashes. There were a few times the poop had been there so long that she was bleeding from the rash it had caused. The final straw for us was when we potty trained our daughter, it felt like we were working against the daycare. The first day after training, they took her out of the room with a toilet, moved her to the younger room, and put her back in a diaper. Every weekend we had to nearly re-train her because they weren't listening to her when she said she needed to go potty and they weren't giving her enough reminders. She'd come home having had at least 1 accident daily. She also went from LOVING going to the potty to it being a battle to get her to go. After just 3 days at home, she no longer has any accidents, indicating that they definitely weren't doing their part. In the 11 months we were with this daycare, there were 3 directors. The newest director Ashley really seems like she's trying to turn the place around, and I had faith in her for a long time. I just think this daycare is too far gone at this point. It just needs to be shut down. read more

My name is Paris I was one of the employees at Children light house daycare and I just wanted to say I have never ever been in such a welcoming work environment and having such a caring team with students that will make you smile as soon as you walk into the room. This Job was an amazing experience and I love i got the opportunity because it was such a life changing experience it showed me what I would like to do in the future is to take on the roll of taking care of kids. Getting to go to work and be able to just non stop smile was amazing. A very big thank you to the owners for giving me this opportunity and giving me a chance. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone in need of childcare. Both of my nephews are enrolled here and the service and care has been the best I've seen. The staff is extremely friendly and communicative and the site itself is clean and organized. The director here was nothing short of understanding and flexible for me and my family and our situation. She has shown us kindness and care and my nephews have learned so much in their time here so far! We absolutely love this school! The best daycare/preschool in parker hands down. When I say the place is kept immaculately clean, it is CLEAN! The place itself is very secure and there is a whole process to checking in/checking out your kid. I have never once worried about safety here. The staff is amazing, everyone greats my baby by name every morning, even teachers that aren't in his class. My baby is currently in the infant room 2 with Erin being the lead teacher. I could go on and on about how much we love Erin! She is such a sweet soul and completely on top of it when it comes to these babies. Nothing is missed by her and she keeps an open line of communication through the app. That is another thing I love about this school, she never misses putting in a changed diaper, what my baby ate, activities, what they're learning. I know my baby is safe and loved with Erin and that is the most important thing to us! Could not recommend this school more, and if you have the pleasure of having Erin be your babies teacher you will not be disappointed! read more

My son started in March of 2021. They have had three new center Directors since that time. The teacher turnover is frequent so he was constantly adjusting to a new teacher or being moved to a new room. With each new director comes new challenges and struggles with communication. Leaving messages and not getting called back is unacceptable. Tuition is increasing by $240/month for my one child. Glad we are moving in 9 weeks or else I'd be looking for new long term care. There are other options out there that are higher quality for the same price. Do your research. I don't like seeing my son watch an iPad when we pay a monthly mortgage for his tuition. read more

Our family had an extremely disappointing experience at Children's Lighthouse of Parker. The leadership lacks communication skills and basic safety for the children. There's a constant revolving door with the teaching staff. Almost every time we picked up our kids, there was a new teacher watching them who we had never met and had no idea their name or qualifications. It seems like new staff members are not properly trained on simple protocols and are extremely under-qualified. Does curriculum matter? The monthly calendar was never updated outside of the classroom so we had no idea what the goals of the month were. Its likely it still is a February calendar outside of the classroom to this day. We had one experience where we walked into the classroom and the door was wide open. One of the students was almost 1 foot out of the door before I stopped him. The teacher was on the other side of the room with her back to the door cleaning up. I told her the situation and asked her if she wanted me to close the door. She remarked "no that's OK". So apparently it's OK for kids to roam the halls unattended? I told her I would close the door on my way out. Regarding communication the Director was notorious for not returning phone calls nor emails. She always seemed overwhelmed or flustered. When we first toured this location we were excited about our kids having a great experience. Immediately after starting, there were constant changes in their staffing and it drastically changed our experience. I would advise any one seeking child care and Parker to avoid this location at all costs. read more

We visited this school on our trip to Denver recently. The school looks very nice and has great facilities and playgrounds. The owners clearly spared no expense. The teachers were kind and caring and the curriculum looked strong. Highly recommended. read more

We have been at the center since it opened. The owners are so amazing and involved- they know all the children by name. The director and assistant director are wonderful in making sure everything runs smoothly and are really great communicating what's going on in the center especially as things are ever changing with COVID. My kids absolutely adore their teachers and classmates and have learned more than we could imagine. This center definitely feels like a family! read more

DO NOT be fooled by the 4.5/5 stars you see on Google or Yelp for this school. They have ONE star on Colorado Shines which is a better reporting system for daycare providers. Our son went to Children's Lighthouse for just under 2 years and had countless issues at this school in that time. We enrolled him when he had just turned one. I should have known after the first week when he came home with a diaper rash so bad that it was practically bleeding that this school was terrible. But we decided to stay and see if it would get better. During his time there were at least five different directors (and I am sure I am forgetting some) and countless teachers that left. He never had a teacher longer than a month. In addition to the turnover, we had a terrible situation where his teacher pulled him in to a bathroom (where there are no cameras) and pulled his hair to "teach him a lesson" because he was pulling other babies' hair at the time. He was still only one years old when this happened. The school has absolutely no curriculum, so the kids just run around and play all day. Our son was having a lot of behavioral issues during this time because he was constantly overstimulated from the lack of structure. On top of all of that, this school is one of the most expensive in Parker. With this being our first and only child we had no expectation for how daycares should be, but always knew this school was not doing things right. We were always willing to give them more chances to turn things around, but they never did. After enrolling our son in a new school, it has made us realize how bad this school is. They have no business being care providers to any children. read more
