We have been at Kiddie Academy of Lone Tree for almost a year now and love it! From the infant room…read moreto the toddler room, our son has been cared for by each teacher he's had. All of the teachers and staff know our son (and us!) by name, which makes us feel even more comfortable with trusting KA with our son. We highly recommend!

We have had a great experience at Kiddie Academy Lone Tree. This is the 3rd childcare center we…read morehave used since my oldest was a baby and by far the best. The owner, Prinal, is very present and cares a lot about the kiddos. They also care a great deal about finding good teachers and the curriculum is wonderful. My oldest learned SO much within a few weeks of starting in the 3-year-old room. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Aiza. My kids both love her and she handles every question or concern promptly and with care. Also special shout-out to Ms. Leeba, Ms. Traci and Ms. Dawna. My kids have had a great experience with all of these teachers and KA is very fortunate to have them. The cameras are very nice to have peace of mind to be able to check in on your kiddo throughout the day. Their app system to record updates and take pictures is very user-friendly and the teachers do a really good job of updating it so I have always felt well-informed about how my kids' are doing. They also go above and beyond by having family activities throughout the year. It's a nice opportunity to spend more time at the center to get to know the teachers and other families more.

Update. It's unfortunate when you have senior leaders brought into a company who destroy everything…read morethat makes it great. The Director here was experienced and lovely, but is now leaving the company. That's also unfortunate. But there's always a reason people leave organizations and it's usually the leadership. Just look at the leadership of the Learning Care Group, a collection of brands of which Everbrook is one. The CEO spent his entire career with pet care and most recently came from PetSmart earlier this year. I'm sure caring for pets is important, but how does this guy know the business of childcare and the associated regulations? He doesn't. The COO who just got brought in, her last job was in laser hair removal. Sounds relevant. But before that? You guessed it. PetSmart. I found out that the new district manager for Denver seems to be also from retail - Joann and Ulta? Cmon, now. This is a joke. The total lack of obvious leadership experience in childcare and education from top to district leader tells you everything you need to know. The only ones that seem to actually be qualified are the facility directors, like the one who just left, along with their staff. Childcare is not retail. It's not a pet store. It's not a beauty store. Ask yourself whether you want people like this in leadership and oversight of your kids from ANY brand of The Learning Care Group. These retail people don't seem to have any clear competency with childcare.

My child's teacher was charged with child abuse on my daughter's first day at this school…read more What was as deplorable as this teacher's behavior was the school's response to it. I am very disappointed in both Everbrook Academy and the parent company, Learning Care Group. On her first day at the school, a teacher was seen by her father and I on the livestream restraining her to the nap time cot (she is 15 months old) for an extended period of time (incident lasted 10-15 minutes), and each time her head popped up the teacher pushed her head to the cot - and one point, slammed her head into the cot creating two bruises & two small scratches on her head. Restraining a 15 month old child with an adult's bodyweight is how children die by suffocation and why restraint of any kind is not allowed by state regs unless someone is in danger. We went down to the school and met with Dana Briggs, the executive director who at first stated that yes, in a matter of minutes we can review the footage with her boss Andrea Datte. She stated that Andrea has access to same day footage, but if it was the next day she would need IT to pull yesterday's footage. She texted Andrea who said yes we can review it and then a few minutes later she said we could not review it for another 24-48 hours. Then Dana said that Andrea said "if it is not involving an injury, I am not allowed to show it to you." How do they know if the kid is injured? At this point, no one from the school has checked on our daughter. And at this point, they are claiming they have not watched the video. Furthermore, Dana Briggs at no point in time went to the classroom to see if my daughter was okay, nor did she check her out when we left the school with her, nor asked us how she was doing the next day. We got her into the car and took photos of the bruise on the side of her head and her forehead and scratches on the side of her face. Long story short, the daycare, Dana and Andrea, attempted to downplay the incident and said that CPS sometimes does not pick these cases up because they are so busy but they will call them and see. We decided to call CPS ourselves, the case was picked up the next morning, and called the state and the police. The daycare would not release the footage to the police detective without a subpoena, but the part of the video we had was enough to charge the teacher with child abuse. We are hopeful once the police have the full video, a stronger charge will be placed on this teacher. They would not release a cropped version of the video to her father and I showing only the teacher and my daughter. The daycare is far too concerned with protecting themselves than protecting the children. The teacher is currently still employed at Everbrook. The school has no plans to review other footage of this teacher to see if she had any incident with currently enrolled babies and kids. No plan to share this report with current families. It's upon the family to look at the state website for publicly available data when the state finalizes their investigation.

We keep coming back to Merryhill and after a couple of not-so-great experiences have decided it's been a mistake to look elsewhere for a more dedicated and caring staff. We are currently driving about 20 miles in one direction to send our twins here because we know they are loved, supported and cared for by trustworthy individuals. Danielle has been such an amazing principal, going out of her way to help accommodate a quick transition back to Merryhill after our last experience ended badly at another daycare. We trust Danielle and her staff (Logan, Ashley, Dean, Swapna, Suset, Ramya, Monica and Rae, to name just a few!) implicitly and it is an added bonus that they are all wonderful, friendly humans we look forward to seeing every day!

We have had the best experience at Merryhill. We have highly recommended it to all of our friends with daycare-aged babies. We are also so grateful for Ms. Suset, Ms. Kami, and Ms. Ramya in the toddler classrooms. We would absolutely recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and loving daycare for their kids.
