Been coming here for a few weeks. As far as gyms go they have a little bit of everything that makes…read morea good gym. That being said the men's locker room consistently seems dirty and always smells awful. I pay for a premium membership to have access to things other than just gym equipment. The thing that really bothers me is that I haven't dealt with at any other gym is that there are no scanners for access to things like pool area and basketball court. Pretty sick of waiting in line to use the sauna and it seems every time I go to the basketball court there is 20 to 30 people in there running full court games. If they add key scanners to amenities that cost extra this wouldn't be an issue and those of us who actually pay extra would be a lot happier

Serious safety issue - my mom was wrongfully towed during a class…read more I'm writing as a concerned daughter, not just a reviewer. My mom is a paying member at this VASA location. While she was inside a scheduled yoga class, her car was wrongfully towed from the parking lot. She came out of class genuinely believing her car had been stolen. No call. No page that reached her class. No warning. She was effectively stranded. After a long and upsetting interaction with management, it was admitted that: * The tow was requested by the gym * The wrong car was towed * The car that actually caused the issue was not towed * Management initially denied involvement and blamed the towing company * My mom was forced to pay $309 to retrieve her vehicle This isn't just an inconvenience - it's a safety issue. You cannot tow a member's car without proper verification, clear communication, or accountability, especially when that person is actively inside your facility and unreachable by design. The parking lot is poorly marked, lacks clear lines, and appears to be a known issue - yet members are punished for it. The handling afterward was defensive, misleading, and unacceptable. I would strongly urge anyone considering this gym to think about how issues are handled when something goes wrong, because this experience showed a complete lack of responsibility and concern for member safety.

This was quite an experience. I went on a whim with a female friend of mine that had been going for…read morea year or so. Cardio is kind of my thing when it comes to working out. I find flexibility and strong cardio make me a better "intimate" partner. I think more people should keep this in mind... The class was about forty five minutes and started slowly then moved on to more rigorous routines. It's a very friendly and supportive environment that I really enjoyed. You can stop or slow down anytime you need to. The instructor, a very fit woman, was encouraging but never condescending or aggressive. I left sweating and tired. It was a really good way to start the day. I don't know the cost as my girlfriend either paid for me or used a guest pass of some kind. I will write an update after I attend again soon that will encompass prices, etc.

I was excited to try this place, but it was difficult to contact them. They never returned my…read morevoicemails, and were closed the two mornings I stopped by during the open hours printed on their door. I ended up texting that phone line and someone texted back that I could come to a free class. I showed up at the agreed upon time, but the instructor hadn't known to expect me. He said few words to me while I signed a liability waiver. I explained that I'd had surgery to reattach my biceps 8 months ago, so I wanted to be careful with that arm. He shrugged and said, "You'll be alright." As the class got going, I didn't know what was going on or what station to go to. He put us in two groups but there were lots of stations all around, so I just floated aimlessly, trying to do the exercises. After class, I walked over to ask him about membership since I still didn't know costs. He ushered me out the door saying, "Get some rest!" So that was that. No follow up. Ummm, okay.

They have machines that track your progress and customize your weights to maximize the workout. My wife says she's noticed the difference. I like that the Tabata (high intensity) aerobic workouts are 15 minutes and the weight lifting is 30. I can get a great workout in less than an hour.

LOVE KoKo Fitclub! I joined the original Colorado location at Columbine 2 years ago and moved over…read moreto the Ken Caryl location as it was more convenient for me. Parts of my review below are cut from my Columbine location review, but they still stand. Two YEARS of going to the gym on a fairly regular basis is huge for me... The music is more geared to adults (30s, 40s) than the 20s, but most of the clientle is in that age group or older anyway. Every employee I've met (pretty sure I'm met them all at this point) is so friendly and helpful, and they all work to be able to great you by name when you come in. HUGE plus: It does not smell like a gym. It's very spa like and peaceful, actually. There are no locker rooms but the restroom is big enough to do a quick change if you have to come there in street clothes. The pricing may be a negative to some, but if you are serious about strength training, you'd be using a personal trainer at a cheaper gym at least occasionally. At Koko, you have the smartrainer pacing you every time, coming up with a new lifting plan every time, and the staff is there to check if you have form problems. Your strength gains are re-evaluated every 12 lifting sessions to keep you on track for continued gains. This is not circuit training, where you have to wait for a machine and it takes twice as long to complete your workout. All strength training is done on ONE machine. Love it! There is no childcare available, so if you have little ones you have to bring with you this won't be the gym for you. I am lucky in that mine are old enough to stay home so I can have an hour of "me" time at the gym
