Even then he will do his before and after care at Primrose HR. We've been pleased all along. The school provides a well rounded curriculum that seems to start with the one year olds... that's what I want for my kids, exposure to math, language, art, science, music, etc. not a narrow curriculum focused on tech or any one area. Turnover is a problem at all daycares as far as I can tell and Primrose has had it's share but we have been lucky. My kids' teachers have been great! Ms. Sharon is adored and rightly so! She is amazing with both with the kids and the parents. Ms. Lisa is so tender and calming with my younger son and that's THE most important thing to me. I want a safe environment with loving care for my kids when I can't be there. Since a recent change of Directors the communication regarding staff changes and school events is much improved too. In addition to texts and letters regarding general school-wide info each child has a daily report which includes info on activities within each area of study, eating habits, bathroom habits, naps, customized notes to parents and photos of my kids having fun during the day. The teachers always have a story for me when I pick up my kids. It let's me know they are engaged with my children throughout the day. Childcare is an serious investment and I want the best. Home based daycare was a consideration since it is often cheaper. You can find some good providers especially prior teachers but waitlists are long and I worried about my young children getting lost with one caregiver and 10 children of varying ages. Also, if my kid's Primrose teacher is sick there's a fill in. It's much more reliable for working parents. Any small issues we have had over the years were quickly and kindly resolved with the administration. Primrose has been great for us. I have a feeling we'll miss the special care when we get to public school.

The issues include: My daughter being left with spoiled milk for extended periods during full school days on multiple occasions. Being informed that there is no standard practice to replace children's cups with fresh water during the day or to clean them routinely. Frequent minor injuries occurring on a near-weekly basis, which I believe are related to inadequate supervision. I have personally observed staff using phones during classroom hours instead of actively monitoring the children. A consistent lack of communication regarding my daughter's daily activities. Despite being told she participates in art daily, I have never received any of her work. A noticeable behavioral change in my daughter. She was previously comfortable and social; she is now fearful of returning and appears anxious around other children. When I ask about my daughter's day at drop-off or pick-up, I am often ignored or treated as though my questions are an inconvenience. Teachers playing on cellphones while watching children which leads to more incidents, lack of care, and discomfort around students The owners reply shows zero remorse and more frames it as a misunderstanding? We love all the teachers! All classrooms have large windows so the rooms are bright! Their playground is spacious and has plenty to keep the littles busy and engaged. There is huge gymnasium that the kids can run around and play in. During play time cars, tricycles, balls, and scooters are available. There is a separate dedicated art room and library. The hallways and classrooms are cheerful and colorful- decorated with all the art projects our kiddos create. It's truly a school that gets our children kindergarten ready- and not operated like a daycare. Our oldest son had attended a different preschool previously and we left because our experience was not great. My son transitioned perfectly into MSP and never cries at drop off anymore. He LOVES all the teachers and looks forward to seeing them and his friends. My son is learning valuable lessons like sharing, being part of a team, developing independence, in addition to academics. On the recommendation of a coworker, I toured and was amazed at the quality of care they give here. My oldest began attending at 13 months, and just recently started kindergarten. His brothers have been attending since 7 months and are now 2 years old. They will attend until they begin kindergarten, as well. Our experience here has been nothing short of wonderful. All the staff knows us by name, even teachers who don't have my kiddos in their rooms. I know my kids are safe and well-taken care of. They love being dropped off and greet their teachers with big hugs every morning. All the staff loves on each and every kid like they are their own, and the curriculum - WOW! My oldest is already reading and performing at 1-2nd grade levels in math & science. Both my 2 year olds (JUST turned 2!) know their shapes, colors, letters - and one of my twins can count to 17 already. The teachers here TEACH - they aren't just watching your kids. We left Goddard only because we choose to move to a new state to be closer to family. This team was more than daycare providers they were advocates, friends and supporters for us during our time at the school. Our son started as an infant and we had no idea what we would experience over our time at Goddard. While at the school our son was diagnosed with a rare condition that causes him to be legally blind as well as being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. For a parent with a child with special needs you have a fear that your child will be treated differently, or poorly because it maybe more difficult to care for him. This school not only ensure we didn't have that fear while he was there but they were a huge advocate for what he needed. His teachers in the beginning brought up concerns or thing they were seeing to see if we were also seeing the same thing at home. They were actively engaged with his Development, and were constantly asking what they could be doing in the classroom to help him. Our doctors were always complementing how supportive the school was on his development and reminding us that not everyone is like that. For us, this staff was a god sent in a very difficult time. The staff shared in the highs and lows. This team was and is not just simply a daycare, they were family. Along the way it was not easy and we had to work together to find solutions, but we always did. I miss dropping our son off there everyday. He was so very happy at the school. Everyday he would get a big smile on his face and so excited to go to his class. He very rarely cried when I left him, but if he did by the time I walked away he was done. He LOVED his ladies and we did also. If you are looking for a school to support your child through their development you have found your school. My wife and I both work full time, so consequently our daughter had to start attending when she was first eligible, almost right at the 3 month mark. We were both uneasy about this early transition, my wife especially. She was extremely emotional the first day, which of course is normal. We both agree that the next day and each day following was much easier to drop her off, and this was directly related to the staff at Smart Bear. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Amanda really did bond quickly with our daughter and it was apparent how much they do care for all of the kids in their classroom. The two of them are absolutely top notch and we are so thankful to have found them. Our daughter has since graduated from the infant room, and again we were uneasy with the early transition. And again, Ms. Sarah jumped in to make sure we didn't feel that way for more than a day. She is constantly checking on our daughter in her new classroom, commonly holding her when we arrive to pick her up and giving us updates. As a result, our daughter has adjusted well and quickly to the change. She has started walking more, using sign language more, and talking more; since she gets to hang out and compete with the older kids. Everything thus far with Smart Bear has really been an excellent experience. This is coming from someone who can be fairly critical of businesses, as you can confirm by digging through some of my other Yelp reviews.
