Teachers are really good. Had some issues with the administration with safety issues which is why it's three stars.

I felt compelled to write a review about my experience with this school and my infant son. We…read morestarted in the Nido room with Miss Julie as the lead teacher in October 2020 when son #2 was three months old. He was there for 11 short weeks and my experience here with the teacher and the program was terrible. I can not recommend this school, teacher or program to anyone looking for a Montessori program. Just for some context, Child #1 was enrolled in a Montessori program from 16 months to 4 years. My child's needs were not meant at any point while he attended this school and he would cry at the center most days. When I would pick him up, he was very upset. I completely feel that he was neglected most days (because he would cry all day and no one wanted to deal with him). The teacher would never follow his cues and would never get down and play with any of the babies. It did not seem like the lead teacher enjoyed being with the babies at any point. The lead teacher wanted all the babies to follow the same schedule and became very stressed and overwhelmed if they were not on a the same set schedule daily. When I was approached by the teacher about his excessive crying after about 5 weeks, I was told that he "needed to be checked out by a dr for acid reflex because he is so upset." He was evaluated by two drs and he was NEVER diagnosed with any health issues. He would never show signs of acid reflex at home. I have a ton of regret that I didn't pull the baby out of this day care earlier. It was a terrible environment, not nurturing or fostering in his development. I also feel like he was behind on some development milestones because no one worked with him on tummy time or practicing rolling over because they didn't want to deal with him. He is currently at a different Montessori day care and all these "issues" that the baby had at this school have failed to show up in a different program around other teachers and staff. I feel compelled to let other parents know about my experience; as I realize that after my feedback to the school about my experience in this room, no changes have been made. If you have a baby that requires a bit more attention, likes to be held and nurtured, this may not be a good fit.

The classroom is quiet and calm, giving kids the best environment to learn I have come across as a parent. No over crowding, lots of play time, and help kids begin navigating friendships and conflicts successfully. Having opted for the private Kindergarten, we hate to leave and wish they would add more grade levels.

The parents are very involved with the school and the outdoor environment, is great and green . His teachers (Mrs. Gloria and Mrs. Lyeen) are wonderful. They are dedicated, passionate and intelligent. We know our son is getting individualized attention and they are allowing him to grow at his own pace (i.e., not just at the common denominator of the class). They are cultivating and developing the whole child. We are simply amazed at how much he is learning and advancing. All while becoming a compassionate and polite individual. We always feel supported as a family. They have been great throughout the enrollment process. They are always planning activities and the children are never bored. It's an efficient and well run school. We are enrolling our 3 yr old son given how much his older brother enjoys the school.

This was his first time being in a childcare setting and I wanted to make sure that not only did I trust that he would be cared for, but he would also be taught the fundamentals to give him a solid foundation in education. We were able to get it all at this school. My then 3 year old is now 5 and about to graduate from Kindergarten where he received one-on-one teaching and attention, which was tailored to where he is intellectually and emotionally. Now my 2 year old is there and making leaps and bounds developmentally with their curriculum and support. I will forever recommend this school, because they allow for the parents to also reinforce the strengths and improve on the student's weaknesses via homework, progress reports, and frequent updates.

After graduating and moving into a first grade class at a Chery Creek Elementary school, we were told she needed to repeat kindergarten. Being first time parents, we didn't know what skills she was supposed to learn. Considering our child spent three years at this "school", we expected she would be advanced, when in reality, she didn't even meet grade standard. We had to spend extra time and money for a year to bring our child up to grade level so the school wouldn't hold her back. She didn't even learn the sounds of the alphabet after three years here! Once we knew she was suppose to have this skill by first grade, we taught her the sounds of the alphabet in two weeks. Still, her reading was behind the other kids and it took a full year to catch her up. After attending a graduation ceremony, we felt it would be detrimental to her self esteem if we held her back. When I told the owner, Lori and Director, Shawn, they didn't believe me. They said kids don't always show their parents what they really know. I had to demand they test her and when the owner did, she apologized because we were right. She offered to have one of their teachers work with our child, but since they couldn't get the job done in three years, we weren't wasting any more time here. We are involved parents. We attended their 5 day meetings about how Montessori teaches your children. We attended our parent/teacher conferences and when I voiced some concern over our child not being able to write her name, the teacher told me to "keep working with her". I wonder if the parents who are happy with this place are teaching their kids at home and it's not the "school" doing the teaching. After doing much research, we learned that this "school' typically didn't have the staff required by law for the number of students per adult. In addition, they clearly don't monitor the kids skill level. The education varies from class to class. Some kids are sent home with books to read, others are not. We now realize some of the "work" they gave us which we were told our child did, the teacher actually did. In particular, there was a map of North America which obviously wasn't done by our child. I found the owner, Lori and the Director, Shawn, to be unprofessional and rude (especially the owner Lori). The employees seem unhappy if you get to know them. This is more of a daycare than a school. I do not recommend sending any child here if you want them to learn the skills needed to be successful in the local public schools. They gave a good sales pitch, but they don't live up to it. I noticed Yelp removed the other poor reviews. I wonder if they'll keep ours up, which is true and we have receipts proving our child attended this "school". As first-time parents navigating the daycare experience, we didn't quite know what to expect--but she has exceeded every hope we had and more. Miss Jenna has such a natural gift for working with babies. She is genuinely kind, patient, and attentive, and it's clear how much she truly cares. Our 5-month-old absolutely adores her--he lights up the moment he sees her in the morning, which gives us so much comfort and reassurance. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our baby feels loved, safe, and well cared for throughout the day. We especially appreciate the thoughtful updates and photos she sends--they brighten our day and help us feel connected even while we're apart. We are so grateful for Miss Jenna and the positive, nurturing environment she creates. She has made our first daycare experience an overwhelmingly wonderful one, and we truly couldn't ask for a better person to care for our baby!!

I asked if this was a transition room possibly between outside taking off coats washing hands etc... and was told no they were in that room all day. The regular teacher admin out of the country, but was not doing anything to quarantine yourself when she got back they were just going to 'watch her' to see if she had any symptoms of Covid or other illness she was with the children. it broke my heart to see these little ones wondering around so miserably no smiles no laughter. I then witnessed 2 boys tormenting a girl in a different class pretending to use light cabers as weapons as she lay on the floor covering her head. A teacher an aide as well as the asst director not paying any attention to what was happening. I was livid that this was being allowed or ignored and instantly said something so that the situation was addressed. I have been in education for years and would not allow this facility to watch any child. I wish I had known the little girls family so I could contact them and told them what was happening. Obviously there was no way we were using this daycare. I plan to pursue the issues with state. Please for your children Do Not use this facility and be extremely cautious when leaving your children in the care of others. My daughter in law had heard gold reviews of this location. Completely unfathomable! The other locations also withheld their deposits for waiting lists when they choose to question the level of commitment to children! Disgraceful on every level.
