My son currently goes to Orchard Valley. We recently moved to Colorado from Seattle, where my son went to an in-home day care center. So finding a nice day care center was important for us. We are so impressed with Orchard Valley. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Each of the classrooms have bright colors and lots of toys. Communication is great, as they send a weekly email and even daily updates on how your child did. The one and only reason this isn't a five star review is there seems to be staffing issues. I know this isn't the teachers' fault, but from time to time they struggle to have enough teachers in each classroom and can sometimes combine classes if a teacher is sick or has a day off. I do not recommend enrolling your children at Orchard Valley. The director is irresponsable, unorganized, and unwilling to make an effort to correct her mistakes. While, ideally the school director would be competent enough to resolve any issues on her own, that is unfortunately not the case here. In addition, corporate office is set up for employees and has no contacts for parents of the students. I was beyond disappointed and both of my children were miserable. In response... That was actually not the case at all. I was told on Friday morning by Janie that there was "definitely availability" for both of my children. I explained our special circumstances and that we needed Orchard Valley specifically because of one of their employees. I was told that I would be able to start my children the next week and there was no mention of a deposit. When I called Monday morning, I was told that there were no spaces, it was my fault, and I was hung up on. So yes, my review is accurate, and proven more so by the fact that no one involved has taken any responsibility or offered any solution, yet they have found the time to try to defend themselves on a public forum. If there are any specific accusations that you "Jason" would like to deny I would be happy to address them... Bottom line... I've never even been in direct contact with this facility, or in contact at all with their parent company, and as you can see they are not at all interested in helping their parents or students. read more

Orchard Valley Learning Center is an outstanding school!! All three of our kids attend/attended OVLC; our youngest is there in preschool and our oldest started at OVLC at 10 months old and is now in fifth grade. We've been going to OVLC for 10 years now! There is no other place I would even consider our children going! Most of the teachers (Carrie, Dianne, Gerri, Julie, Darla, Angie, and so many others!) that taught and cared for our older kids are still there today providing a loving environment for our youngest. The front office's communication with parents is great (Thanks to Jannie, Charity, Riley, and Jamie!) and we also receive emails and pictures from our child's teacher a couple of times each week with updates. There are options for fun extra curricular activities at an additional cost (swimming in the summer, soccer, dance, yoga, etc.) and the center also consistently brings in activities included in our tuition such as magicians, yoga instructors, bee keepers, and the list goes on. I love that OVLC goes above and beyond all the time to provide fun and educational activities! When our older children finished kindergarten at OVLC they could read well and had a lot of confidence going into public school thanks to the kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Watson, and her awesome helpers. The center provides snacks, a healthy lunch, and optional breakfast which our kids always enjoyed (Thank you Courtney!). Despite what another review says, you can bring in outside food but must follow the nut policy which is not unusual for any center and the policy protects children that may have severe allergies which is very important. We had our 3 and then 4 year old son at Orchard Valley through the start of the pandemic, and I needed to get online and write a few reviews. He LOVED going to school, and the staff from top to bottom was absolutely incredible. We moved out of state, otherwise he and our daughter would have been there as long as we could keep them there. I am an elementary school teacher myself, and the love of learning and concepts they taught were incredible. Our son still talks about his OVLC teachers months later. We were always cautious about preschool centers, but wow did we have a great experience. Needed to share! read more

My toddler has been going here for the past six months and he really loves it. The teachers in his room and all the staff are so attentive and caring. We went to two other day cares before this one that weren't great fits for one reason or another, so glad we found OVLC! read more

I love this daycare center. They treat my child as they would their own. The entire staff from front office to teachers know my child and my family by name. We have been here since my child was 18 months old and now through the private kindergarten. I would trust no one else with my kid. They have taught him his ABCs, numbers, how to write his name, be polite, you name it. Let's face it when it comes to working families it does take a village, well Orchard Valley has been my village. read more

I just called to get information on this center, as I am fed up with my current one and am looking to move my 2 year old daughter as quickly as possible. Based on the interaction I had with the Center Director, this center appears to have everything I'm looking for: good curriculum, multiple options for classrooms in my daughter's age group to allow for flexibility should issues arise with classmates (we currently have an issue with a little girl who scratches my daughter multiple times a week, but there is nothing they can do to separate them because there is nowhere else for either of these girls to go), reasonable rates (comparable to what I'm already paying for the shit show of a center my child is at now), a flexible tuition payment schedule, and best of all, low staff turnover. I will be scheduling a tour this week just to see it in person, but I already have my heart set on Orchard Valley. I will update this review after my daughter has spent some time there. PS: It's disheartening to see that this center has such a low rating, especially since they have two 5 star reviews sitting there, but in the "non recommended" section. Convenient. And the 1-star review for simply hearing music from your patio while they're outside? Give me a break. Unless your patio is literally adjacent to their outdoor space, I think you're exaggerating a bit. read more

Best school around. My son has been at OVLC for four years now and my second is about to start soon. They have a very clean and safe environment for the kiddos as well as really good curriculum. The staff has become part of our family and every year my heart is overwhelmed when I see how they care for my child. I highly recommend this school! read more

So impressed with this daycare/school! The first couple weeks were hard. Neither of my kiddos had ever been in a daycare or school environment - but ALL of the teachers and staff helped make the transition as easy as possible for everyone. Daily emails and reassurance, always happy to take my overprotective mommy phone calls... we are still very new here but couldn't be happier. I'm glad we picked this center to take care of and teach our boys while we are at work. read more

My son went here for several years and we have since moved him to Belles and Beaus and he is MUCH happier. The class sizes are large and a little unstructured. Our biggest beef is that not only is it a 100% peanut free facility (which is typical) but there is to be NO outside food brought into the center. My issue with this is that it forces me (as a parent) to have my son fed processed foods. read more
