"Robbinsville is a town in Graham County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 597 at the 2020 census." That's according to Wikipedia. According to me, someone who recently spent a weekend there, can confirm that Robbinsville is indeed a town that looks to be populated with less than 600 people. That being said, food options were not expected to be diverse and plentiful. However across the street from my hotel was a quaint home that was actually a restaurant. Willow Tree: a catering business that serves people for dinner on the weekend. Tired and hungry, I sauntered in and sunk into a very cushy chair in the entrance/waiting room as I waited for a take-out order. I ordered a ribeye and not only did the order came out quick, but the waitress offered me an actual steak knife to take back to the hotel for the meal! "You can return it tomorrow, we have plenty of them!" she cheerfully said. Nothing like Southern, small-town, hospitality. The meal was great. The ribeye was cooked to order and well seasoned, the Mac and Cheese really hit the spot, and the Pecan Pie was a perfect end to an all-around great hotel meal. If you ever find yourself in Robbinsville, you need to check this place out and who knows- it may make you want to become resident 598.

    Inside

After a cold ride home on the motorcycle in late October not many places were open and those that were closed soon. This included willow tree but it was open for slightly less than an hour so I decided I should go, listed on maps as "burger restaurant" I thought I'd put one down and go to bed with slightly more room left in my stomach. Anyways, this place is so so good. Chef is extremely talented. She's a chef and a half. Maybe like a chef and 7/8s. She's basically like two chefs cuz she's so good. I got the pork chop as per another customers suggestion. The chocolate cobbler was amazing I didn't even know it existed. If y'all are coming through here and need a meal, this is the fuckn place.

We had a wonderful dinner. Best advice is to check their Facebook page for the menu which is usually posted the day before Secondly, call and make a reservation it's a small place and usually busy during the dinner time While we did not partake of dessert I understand they are always wonderful

Took my wife and some friends here for my wife's birthday. The inside is charming and the food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. Staff was great as well. I'd recommend reservations.

Paid for a $7 salad. Got charged $24 because of a $10 "share charge". Menu said share charge is only applied to Entrees.

While picky eaters might have a tough time at Sage, foodies and food lovers will appreciate the menu. Service: the waitstaff is young, but attentive and knowledgeable. I feel they will keep getting better over time. Ambiance: you enter through the courtyard, which has plenty of outdoor seating. The interior seating is set for fine dining in a casual manor. Lighting is dim for a romantic dinner yet seating for large parties along the banquette wall is available. Sage is a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion or just a nice night out with loved ones. Highly recommend.

We spent the long weekend in a quaint air B & B just outside of town and experienced everything we could from a train ride to a dive bar to a burger joint in a double wide. Sage was a definite highlight of the celebration. The food was superb. The pork belly appetizer that we shared was unique and delicious. I had the sea bass and my wife had the beef (fork tender). Both had subtle flavors with excellent textures. We both had a dessert. I opted for the chocolate and my wife had the crème brûlée. Both excellent. Highly recommend you find this jewel.

I got the coconut refresher, not too sweet and still had caffeine. They have topo Chico, my favorite sparkling water, so they got bonus points for that. They have a pastry window(?) that had a decadent looking, huge, slice of blueberry coffee cake and a cheesecake I would have tried if I was in the mood for sweets. I saw a couple enjoying it and letting the staff know the coffee was delicious. The tables are spacious, there were only around 6 people when I went and the atmosphere made it easy to ignore the other people and write this. But other "strangers" began conversations so it is still inviting. The music is acoustical versions of modern songs. I saw a staff cleaning the counters around the place while I ate so they definitely keep it clean. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and not overbearing. Overall perfect place to sit and read on my break from a gloomy day. Only note would be that I wanted my food for here and they made it to go.

The barista created us right away and let us know there were menus on the counter to look at. Ordering was quick and we reviewed our drinks rather quickly. The bakery items all looked delicious and we wanted them all. We ordered cinnamon bun and had it warmed. I ordered one of the specialty drinks (The Jolene) and my friends wanted just black coffee. They did not have any fresh coffee so they offered her espresso with water, and said they could bring the half and half out for her to add herself. The cinnamon bun was mouth watering and delicious.
