Teryaki chicken with potato salad and corn nuggets
    Jesy T.

Stopped by during my visit in NC AND Lynn's did not disappoint! I was skeptical for such a good review in a small town, but the food was great. I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken which was over baked and hot out the over when served! I enjoyed that the teriyaki sauce didn't taste like one of those salty bottled sauces just glazed onto the chicken. Now the macaroni and potato salad are both made in house and I had to try them both! I don't know which one was better because they were both delicious. As for the corn nuggets, you can never go wrong with! Service was quick and efficient, food came out after about a 20 minute wait, but that's given we were a large party of about 18 and the plates came out one by one as the kitchen prepared them, so can't complain on the freshness! Lynn's is a decent size restaurant, it has its small town charm, and overall just that feeling of a mom and pops place! Definitely recommend to make the spot to come and enjoy Lynn's, I heard their dragon chicken was great!

Dinner for 2. We both started with side salads. They were absolutely excellent fresh cold I had not had one better. In fact mine was so good, I ate a second side salad. Also I forgot to add they have Coke products, thank goodness. My friend orders a seafood platter. Now he's from Florida, and knows good seafood, he really enjoyed it and said everything tasted very good. I had a very large chopped steak dinner. It was very large and excellent. Our sides , baked potatoes, large and excellent. Great desert selection. Excellent staff that all works together.

Had about the best club sandwich that I can recall. Good service, nice people. Waaaay better than the tourist traps further up the road!

Ambiance is shabby chic, intimate house resto. Multiple dining rooms are small and they have an outdoor patio that has several tables. +. Food is American and their menu changes every week. We had their grilled caesar to start and shared a 14oz prime rib. The fresh 1/2 romain was slightly charred and sprinkled with pre-made dressing. I had it without croutons and my friend had it with. We both enjoyed it. The salad plates though were narrow and an odd shaped which wasn't easiest to support cutting. The prime rib was well done to blue. They don't ask for desired temp. If you prefer specific temp, be aware. This steak was tougher than expected for a typical PR. The sides we picked were butternut squash which was slightly sweet but pleasant. =. Service was mostly good. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. However, I do have a bone to pick. They charge $10 for splitting an entree, BUT they do NOT serve the entree to 2-plates! They brought one entree (as photo'd) and just an empty dinner plate. WE HAD TO cut and plate the 2nd plate ourselves! So they charge $10 for splitting withOUT providing any service :((. If you charge a fee for service, fine. But you SHOULD provide that SERVICE you charge! Also, my salad came with croutons which the waitress quickly remedied. We ordered offered blueberry cobbler for dessert but they were already sold out. It was only about 7:30pm! =. Price is on the higher side and little value for what you get. +. Parking is easy in a private gravel lot. Willow Tree has a nice ambiance, their food was just okay and their upcharge for service NOT provided was a turn off. Not sure if they are looking for repeat customers... There aren't many choices for restaurants around Robbinsville. I'll be packing food prior to coming up this way next time. I had the ribeye which was a generous portion, thick-cut, seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Visiting from Nashville, the $30 price tag with two sides was an incredible deal for the quality. The evening was perfect and the outdoor seating near the river made a perfect backdrop. Live music began at 7 which was also nice. We ordered our drinks, appetizer (trout nuggets are very good!) and entrees at the insistence of our hostess and glad we did. By 5:30 it got very busy! I was dissatisfied with my grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken had no seasoning. Plentiful portion but very bland and tasteless. I ate the grilled onions and mushrooms and a couple bites of the toasted wheat bread with melted cheese. My daughter had the Chicken Caesar wrap and she said it was messy but not bad. The Pizookie was delicious which made everything alright!! Who does not love a hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, caramel drizzle & whipped cream?! This was my 2nd time and even though my sandwich was not perfect, I still enjoy eating here. It is worth the trip!

Sitting outside, by the river,…read morewatching the kayakers go by, and eating this magical pizza, is one of our absolute favorite things to do, every time we visit the area (twice a year). Now, let me tell you why I CANNOT give them 5 stars. I have been telling my in-laws about this place (AND this pizza) for about 3 years. Last month, we took them to Waynesville, for what will likely be their last trip to Waynesville, their favorite place. (health reasons) We were staying in Waynesville and shopping in Pigeon Forge and it was lunch time. We were headed to Mel's Diner, and at the last second, I suggested we go by Tapoco Tavern, instead, to get the pizza I had been telling them about. Everybody was hungry, but agreed they could hold out for another hour to try this pizza they'd heard so much about. We were all starving by the time we finally pulled up to the LOCKED GATES at Tapoco Tavern. Their website had NO MENTION OF BEING CLOSED. We assumed they must close for the season, but a few days later, I saw an advertisement for Tapoco Lodge, on Facebook. Go figure. We drove 60-100 miles out of the way and still had to drive another hour to get to the third restaurant attempt. (Luckily, Native Brews, in Cherokee was open (obviously, we called first). Any other restaurant would have a one star review for this train wreck dining day. But, that awesome pizza will STILL keep us coming back. Sadly, my in-laws will never experience the best Margherita pizza. Go here. Get the Margherita pizza. It's a game changer. But, CALL FIRST!

Once the server came, we ordered appetizers, then he wanted to know what we wanted for our entree. We said we wanted to wait, as we all hate when we are eating our appetizers, and the main course comes. 3 times he came and asked us if we were ready to order. Umm. No, there are still appetizers, and yes, we told him we'd order when we were through with our appetizers. Finished the appetizers, had to ask the waiter for water 2x. Ordered main dish, our friend ordered the special which was on a chalk board when you walk in. About 5 minutes later the waiter says we're out of the special. She asked to see the menu. He didn't offer it. Our dinner came out about 2 minutes later, and she had to wait another 8-10 for her dinner. If you knew you were out of the special - wouldn't you hold the rest of the tables order so everyone could be served together? Once we all had our main course, as did our friend had to ask for steak sauce twice. Didn't see the waiter again. The hostess came by once. Once dinner was completed, the waiter brought the check and let the dirty plates on the table. The hostess came by and asked how the food was. And said "I'll get your server to clean up these dishes". Never did. Once we said No thanks for dessert - he was gone. At first we thought It's Easter Sunday - they're busy. Nope, only 3 tables full. And as we left, we noticed the special was STILL on the chalkboard. If you're out - cross it off, or erase it. Not a difficult step. The food itself was "good" but not excellent. We have been 3x now since they opened, and probably would not go back.
