Nice place with a cool surrounding at the NOC. We had lunch here during the week. They were fairly busy but we were seated right away. I had the Sherpa Rice w/chicken and it was excellent (although maybe a bit too much sauce). Service was great.

River's End was a last minute decision for our large party. We waited for only a few minutes and were seated at a table, along the river's edge. While we waited for this table, though, several of us ordered drinks from the bar. The gentleman behind the bar appeared to be wishing he were anywhere but there and wow, did it show through in every interaction each of us had with him. Yikes. Had everything else been fantastic, I still would have given only 3 stars, just for his behavior and comments. The bar is one of the first things you see, walking in. He is one of the first faces and impressions made. Absolute fail. Our server, on the other had, was amazing and did her best to tackle some of the hurdles that can come with managing a large party. She was friendly, had a massively infectious smile and was great. We shared several apps but nothing that would make a memory with my tastebuds. I choose the Raven's Fork Salad and really enjoyed it. I added their "Blackened Steak" for an additional $12 and requested it be cooked medium. While I enjoyed the salad, I was really sad to see the steak overly cooked - almost too tough to cut or chew. Several sad strips that are def overcooked. Insert incredibly sad face here. Several opportunities for some improvements here. Maybe someone from management will happen upon this review.

Cute restaurant with a great view. Kid friendly and vegetarian friendly. Kids menu with crayons. Highchairs available. My son had the cheese pizza and lemonade. I had the Sherpa rice. Tasty and filing. Husband had a salad and wings that he loved. Huge seasonal apple margarita that was delicious

Location, location, location! If you are going down the river or just enjoying the area this restaurant is a no brainer. The staff is friendly, the ambiance and views are great and the food is pretty okay. I really enjoyed the onion rings.

Their Sherpa rice... absolutely swimming in this teriyaki sauce. Not edible. The trout that was on top was very good.

The rice was absolutely drenched in a teriyaki sauce that tasted straight out of a cheap bottle--overpowering, cloying, and honestly just gross. It completely ruined the dish. I couldn't eat the rice at all, and that's saying something. The trout on top was actually good--fresh and well-cooked--which is the only reason I didn't walk out hungry. But good trout doesn't make up for the disaster underneath it. If you're going to serve something called "Sherpa Rice," at least make the flavors thoughtful and edible. As it stands, it felt like a lazy, overpriced afterthought. Wouldn't recommend this dish to anyone. Do better. I did mention this to the waitress who saw I didn't touch my food and when I told her that honestly, the sauce was really terrible and the fact that it was swimming in it made it inedible she said yeah it's an acquired taste.

This place is quite the experience! The view of the river is beautiful and fun to watch the rafters and kayaks go by. We liked this place so much we ate there twice. Both times the food and service were fantastic. I ordered the best dam chicken sandwich with mac & cheese and the cabbage slaw. The chicken sandwich really was the best! The second time there I ordered the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. It was also delicious. You can't go wrong with this place!

This spot was perfect after paddling at the NOC. The view was lovely! We were promptly seated, and I immediately ordered a tasty bloody Mary. Our server was polite and efficient. The trout was exceptional! Seriously! You cannot beat the view, the food, and the price point was quite reasonable. We would definitely return if we choose to Visit the area again.

Beautiful seating and perfect food choices after a day on the water. We both got the burgers. Great, fast service!

Went for the Valentines Day special dinner, reservations required and prepay. Meal and staff were great, live music with the absolute best view overlooking the beautiful river. I would definitely do again

We really enjoyed the good here. A nice menu with enough that everyone in your party should be able to find something they like. Very casual place.

I got it hot, because of the cool mornings here in the valley. It paired great with the Orange cranberry Scone! Of course I got it warmed! It was so moist and yummy, no butter needed there! I talked to the owners daughter and she told me the bakers arrive at 3:00-4:00 am so everything is fresh each day! My friend got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a fresh made bagel! There was a chipotle aioli on the sandwich that made it over the top! I had to have a bite, just to tell everyone about it! Shhh! I might have snuck an extra bite! So SO YUMMY! The decor in the shop is so coffee chic.. loved it! Super comfy chairs and tables if you need to work. Outside plenty of tables and comfy arm chairs. They even have a fire pit for those chilly mountain days! Don't want to leave the kids out? No worries! They have a play ground! They even have a little stage area... I will be watching for some live eclectic coffee house music... hoping that will be soon! Please do not miss Morning Fog Coffee and Eats! It's a great place to treat yourself and your tummy!

The ambiance gave us our first feel good impression, indoor and outdoor seating including a front porch. The service is young energetic and professional and knowledgeable about all the items on the menu, because I asked about just about a variety of them. They are family owned, which always sets well with me. My wife had the Sunrise Cakes and I had the Egg Ricotta Whip. Both were incredible and as good as everything looked, it ate even better. The coffee was amazing and is sourced from Phoenix Roasters which features a signature Guatemalan medium roast (which I had and throughly enjoyed). Lets just say the remaining 2 plus hour ride home was nothing after this feel good experience. Check em out, you will not be dissapointed. My only regret is that they are not closer to home, because we would definitely be regulars. But, we go camping a few times a year so we will be back!

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..
