The procedure was extremely painful, the mapping shifted, and my lips healed uneven, swollen, and badly damaged. Two experienced artists confirmed how difficult the results would be to fix. Because I had an upcoming trip and was desperate, I accepted Paige's push to go to her trainer, Jill Nicholson at AZ Brow Bar, instead of the other providers I had already visited. That was another mistake. I was quoted one price for two correction sessions, then hit with unexpected extra charges at the retouch, and Paige couldn't provide proof of the payment she claimed she made. When I tried to talk to her afterward, she didn't respond, blocked me, and even changed her name on social media. I really wanted her to magically turn my "sea hag" faded teal and green bedraggled lower back natural curls with 5" of grey roots (that I couldnt keep up) with silver, and bring back my bouncy curls. I even had a backup plan, because I was SO SURE a Silver that could grow into my natural color just would not be an option. Lydia took one look at me and had a plan. I dont think either of us were sure it would work, but she's brilliant and has 18+ years experience and a foundation in color theory, so we took a chance that dying my green hair hot pink would take me to a silvery tone. It worked! The woman pulled off a miracle on my head! I adore my lush silvery locks, with a bit of an oilslick tone of faded denim blues and violets that shimmer in the sun. My hair is so much healthier, and I can literally pull off a silk sleep bonnet, spritz with rosemart water, add a bit of hair oil and shake my curls into place.
