We called to get flowers for dear friends whose mother had passed. Najah was so kind and…read morehelpful---confirming she could deliver the next morning, asking about the arrangements we were interested in to ensure she had all flowers in-stock, and even promising to include a hummingbird decoration when she learned it was the deceased's favorite bird!! When I called back to thank her, she offered her condolences and said she'd say a prayer for the family. This genuine goodwill set a new bar for florists everywhere and we'd recommend Williamston Greenhouse & Florist to everyone!! The selection/inventory looked to be dwindling somewhat, but just about everything they had still looked good and healthy. Noticed they sold produce to the left of the building on the outside this time too. One star knocked off on this visit because, after much looking around and not seeing anything we decided to ask for help. We were told they supposedly didn't carry many fruit trees, "if any at all", by the older, tall blonde woman at the register on staff during the early afternoon hours. It didn't seem like a very definitive response. The second star is knocked off because she really did not seem interested in interacting or helping us after her 'informative' tree comment. She walked away thereafter, presumably get away from us and our pesky questions. Still a nice place, with nice stuff, but lacking on customer service on this visit.

If you are mobility challenged then this may not be the place for you though. The ground is very uneven in the greenhouse and not spacious enough for standard wheelchairs in many of the indoor areas. I didn't find anything I wanted and likely may have earlier in the season. They did had a variety of outdoor plants for those that like gardening. The staff I spoke to was friendly
