Every time we have entered this store, we have been greeted with extremely friendly staff *A complete change from the Southern CA stores. to the friendly helpful staff here!! **Remember- this is not a store to bring children through. Items are very expensive and staff want to take the time to throughly explain products to you so you have a clear understanding of what you are purchasing. This is what is EXPECTED in high end stores. Folks have forgotten this etiquette. It makes for a some shopping experience, plus+ you can go to lunch with your partner after. Prices are higher end. We tried to return a Breville coffee maker ($599) after repeated attempts trying to get this machine to make one cup of espresso. Within one week of purchase we went back to WS to return. I must preface that their return policy is within 30 days of purchase with original receipt for a refund or store credit- we would have accepted either. I was told they wouldn't accept it because the box had been open and was no longer considered "new" even though I met their return policy criteria. What even was more incredulous was the clerk also stated that they couldn't take it back because it would go against their total sales for the day. What????? Now it's about quota not service?? WOW!! Chuck Williams would be incredibly disappointed that this is what his company has become. This will be my last purchase. read more

This store carries a wide range of fine coffee makers which is what is came in to check out. After that, I shopped around for a few needed kitchen utensils. One of the sales clerks approached and asked, almost demandingly, to hold onto the items I picked so far as if I going to shoplift. When I went to check out, this lady had such a dour attitude and took an exceedingly long time to work the register. WS in general is a great, high-end kitchen ware store however the poor customer service at this location does not live to the brand. I recommend avoiding this location if you're shopping for new cookery. read more

Okay yall I don't write negative reviews on here very often but my experience at this Williams Sonoma was horrific. I entered the store and waited in line for about 15 minutes to which I was then greeted by a store associate with "are you here for something" to which I happily replied yes I'm here to get my knives sharpened. The lady then informed me that this specific location does not do knife sharpening anymore and my best bet was to try 2 of the other stores that are 40 plus minutes away. She couldn't even tell me if those stores offered sharpening I would have to call myself and ask. Overall would definitely recommend a different location if you plan on shopping at Williams Sonoma. read more

Came to browse for items due to getting a new apartment. You would have thought I walked into the store with a dirty blanket over my head and an unshaved beard. The pretentious stares from this staff could be felt from the across the store. I immediately regret not wearing couture because I think that's the only way I would have got them to treat me like a human being. I was asked twice by two different employees in an aggressive manor if I needed any help, as if to try and get me to leave. I responded with a slight joke to maybe lighten the mood. This was when it got awkward. The lady stood there with a blank stare. NO EMOTION. Feeling uncomfortable, I turned away and tried to focus on something else while she stood there still staring at me... honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Not sure how this store is still in business. Great products, but staff should think about choosing a different career field. Yikes. read more

Horrible experience, staff made me have a panic attack. Went to Williams Sonoma in Aspen Grove to grab a quick gift for a friend. I came in with a mask on, and was informed immediately by the staff about the no touch and distancing policy. They were extremely rude right off the bat and acted like I was an inconvenience to them. Subsequently I was followed around the store while shopping by not one, but two employees just to make sure I was distancing, not touching things, and was wearing my mask. They continually harassed me, asking me "What do you need?" and "Why are you here?" I felt so attacked I started sweating and having a panic attack. They kept reminding me of all the new COVID policies, as if I didn't know. What is the point of trying to open back up during COVID if you're just gonna be super crazy and rude to your customers about the rules? They literally drove me out of the store with their harassments and insanity. I was following all the procedures, and they STILL followed me around the ENTIRE time. Rude staff: if you are so afraid of working during COVID, just don't work. It is better for business, seeing as people come in when you are nice and a decent human. ;) read more

Very disappointed. I shave shopped here for years. We purchased a coffee combo machine. Used it a couple of times didn't,t like it took it back. When we returned it they would not refund us the $45.00 we had saved up in rewards money from using there Williams Sonoma credit card. I ask them if they could give it to me toward a new purchase but no they couldn't do anything call 844-271-2811. The same thing nothing call the customer service they can not do anything they only handle on line. This is as poor of service I have ever seen. In all honesty my fiancé and I went in looking for a new and great fry pan. We had been to multiple store and done quite a bit of research online prior to coming in (because we are millennials and we do our research with the internet) Someone approached us asking if we needed help and we stated: "we need a new fry pan, we would like an 11 inch fry pan." She stated: "well that's for omelets." and points to pan we were just looking at which was fry pan which can cook more than omelets. So we said no thanks to her and continued browsing around the store because we needed other things, and we went back to the fry pans. A different employee approached asking if we need help so I asked for a price confirmation and she acted as if I was the dumbest person on the planet. She then proceeded not to answer my question so I asked again, she went into the back for 15 minutes trying to find the product I asked for. When she came back not only did she bring two completely different pans and wrong lid sizes she acted as if we didn't know what we wanted. She brought a casserole dish and a paella dish. I WANT A FRYING PAN. We told her no thanks and we wanted what we told her, 20 minutes later she returned with the right pans and wrong lids. While ringing us up the price wasn't changing so she had to call her manager over who was the worst of them all. She is level 99 Karen. Oh my god the entitlement flowing out of this woman will stain your shoes. Anyways she comes over and flips her lid saying it is our lucky day and they have to honor the price because the sign was still up, we stated "you should check the other signs around the store to make sure that the holiday deals were over so that their isn't confusion." she snapped back saying "well if only their was enough time in the day." Lady I work in an E.R. There is plenty of time in the day if you have a work ethic and get up and work. Regardless we would have bought the pans without the deal because my fiancé really liked them but not from them, we would have ordered online. But we got a great deal and saved 90 big ones! read more

I won't shop Williams-Sonoma anymore--at all. I think their staff is generally unfriendly and rude. I especially HATE how aggressive they are in trying to obtain customer emails. Pottary Barn can sometimes be the same way, but WS is the absolute worst. I don't want to share my information so move on and don't be rude about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This location, especially, has a rude staff. I bought a wok and a mocca master here. Both times, the sales girl was short, curt, and snotty. I'll buy online at other stories because walking in and buying here is not fun--and shopping should be fun. Not enjoyable. If you hate working with customers, you should work in another field where you don't have to interact with humans. read more

Bought cookware and the clerk spent 10 minutes talking me into a credit card for some savings. I don't need another credit card, and the savings wasn't worth the hassle I've had with the credit card. I attempted to register the credit card for days, but the banks website errored out. Paid the balance due and have been charged a late fee with finance charges. Cancelled the card and they are going to report me to national credit agencies for less than $50 in late fees and finance charges. The experience at the store and with the credit card has been horrible. read more

Totally disappointed per my last visit here. Years ago I used to *love* going. to the store...so much that my kids drew a picture of the store on front of. a mothers day card they made. The item I was looking for was not in stock. They said they could order it for me with free shipping. Free shipping was already available to me if I ordered it myself online. It was already in my cart online so it was of little value to me for them to order the item, unless they could get it to me faster so I asked them. They told me yes they could. So I started my order with them and when it came to shipping I noticed she didn't change it to a faster shipping. I inquired about it and she said if I wanted it shipped faster I would have to pay for it. Duh! I had that option if I ordered it myself. But if I ordered it myself I would have my all my info in my account already. When I mentioned. this to her she put me on a guilt trip that if I ordered it with her the store would get the credit instead of corporate. By giving the store the credit it helps keep the lights on, etc. Wow. Now I felt badly if I didn't make the effort of sharing my name, address, credit card info, etc. with her to type it in. I not only took the time to drive to the store, wait for them to look if they had the item, and suffered through a huge guilt trip...and still didn't have the item I wanted. I felt awful in the car that I just got bullied into doing something I didn't want to do. My visit was far from the great customer service and purchasing experience I remembered it to be. Perhaps they are moving towards a catalog business model now. What made it worse is that my item was delivered 4 days later than when it said it would be delivered. It also turned out not to be the one I wanted. :( read more

I want to be clear that I am NOT rating the service I rec'd in the store. Rather the unprofessional and outright dishonesty I rec'd from "customer service" regarding an online order. I attempted to order a 630.00 mixer using a store credit and a credit card. A week later I quite by accident discovered that the order had been cancelled because the shipping and billing information did not match (seriously?). I had NOT been notified of any problem with the order...only had the confirmation. Spoke with customer service who said that my merchandise credit would be re-issued but did not know if it would come by mail or email. Nor could she assist in re-ordering the mixer. I emailed customer service who responded that it would be mailed and should arrive in 10-14 days. Emailed again when credit did not arrive after 15 business days. Was then told that they would not send it, that I should go back to the store where it was issued and have them take care of it. This sounded completely wrong, I called customer service, asked for a supervisor, was put on hold 12 minutes and got another associate. She then kept putting me on hold as she spoke to her supervisor (who refused to speak to me). Again, go to Aspen Grove, they will reissue your credit. I asked if they could give Aspen Grove some sort of head's up and got no response. I called store manager next day (who had no knowledge of issue). Cindy called her customer service desk and informed me that due to the size of my credit (374.00) a supervisor would have to call me and ask me several questions. She did admit that they have all of the information including the merchandise credit number. I emailed customer service to let them know that the store could NOT issue the credit and was informed that I would receive a call with 24-48 hours. I have not rec'd a call, I do not have a mixer (Cindy says that it is now out of stock again) and they have my 374.00 credit. I will NEVER shop at WS again. read more

Not surprised that Williams-Sonoma filed for bankruptcy in 2009 considering their unscrupulous and cutthroat business practices. I bought a Valentines apron at full price back in Jan. I went back to this store in Feb. This sales associate named Debbie asked me if she could help me. I said yes, and asked her if they have any of the Valentines apron left. As usual, they don't know what type of products they are selling, flippantly replied, "Oh it's all sold out so fast". So, I browsed around the store and found it in one of their clearance rack for 40% off. So I asked another sales associate, Robin if I could get a price adjustment for the apron, and she said yes if I have the original receipt she said they can do it for me but then she goes running off asking Debbie who gave me the stink eye. First Debbie refused to issue me a price adjustment for "prior purchases". So I said, then, I'd like to return the apron and buy it back at the lower price. She couldn't deny their ridiculous policy and then tried to backpedal by saying "oh usually we don't do price adjustments but I will do it this time". Then I checked the baking section for parchment paper, and they had none. So I asked Robin if they have any parchment paper in the back room and she flippantly replied while pointing and telling me to go back to the baking section again. I told her I was there and you had none in stock and asked if they had any in the backroom. Robin seemed very reluctant and grudgingly checked for it- great customer service there! Then, Debbie issued me a merchandise credit without informing me prior to doing the price adjustment. She works so slow and she can't even type my e-mail address properly (I had to repeat 3 times to her and she still can't get it right). So, I just gave up and told her to just print it , no need to e-mail it to me. Just like Victoria's Secret who is also bankrupt, both companies do not honor their "we stand behind ourproducts" as they do not want any of their products back at all and they are so inconsistent and cutthroat in their pricing. read more

Came in on a Tuesday morning to find this Le Cruset set that has been sold out at a few stores closer to me.. I finally found it with the help of a sale associate. She also found the sale price for it and I saved almost $120.00. I love coming to this store but it's always dangerous! This was my first time at the location and the service was great. read more

Beautiful, top of the line, and overall great kitchen tools. There is no doubt that this store carries impeccable items. The service on the other hand was not as friendly as I would hope for a store located in an outdoor shopping mall in Colorado. I was not greeted walking in behind folks two-three times my age. Perusing around curiously I was then asked if I needed help finding anything about 5 times with insincere eye contact and short tempered conversation. It came across as age discrimination and overall left me feeling disrespected and undervalued. The store is not very big and to be asked 5 times after not being greeted with the initial walk in presented the assumption of negative connotations. I hope other people don't feel looked down upon the way I did when they walk in. Saturday's are busy days for retail and you can't connect with everyone but the least you can do is emit kindness. read more

Went in to look for holiday ideas, tried some very delicious mulled cider, which prompted me to buy the mulling spices for a gift. Then it took 20 minutes to pay for the darn jar of spices, with only 2 customers ahead of me! One cashier didn't know how to do a return, so a manager had to get involved, while a second cashier rang up the other customer SLOWLY and then seemed to not see us at the counter for a good 10+ minutes, and she turned to serve someone a piece of cake. We were totally ignored the entire time we waited. One of the ladies could have said "I will be right with you" but no, we didn't exist. I came within seconds of leaving my items on the counter and walking out. It was the worst, unfriendliest service in the shopping center. Not worth waiting for. read more
