With any big project, there are inevitable problems that arise. Scott had all of them fixed without complaining or trying to avoid them. It was at times at great cost to him. A good contractor fixes problems without blaming and that's exactly what Scott did. We gave the company a 4 star instead of a 5 star because some of the problems were avoidable on the installation of the heated floor and the electrical work. We were thankful to have permits for these and for the construction of a new wall. We will definitely use them again but will watch the process closer and get permits again. Scott is very easy to work with and made our home even more beautiful than we imagined it.

After an intensive search, I found Mark the owner of Wakeford Consulting. He was able to come to inspect immediately and showed me that he would be able to level it and he did not try to over sell me. He was fast and did an amazing job. He did let me know that they could do the installation if Home Depot kept delaying. Home Depot tried to schedule me over a month out so I called Mark and he was available within a couple of days. Along with installing the floor, he let me know that he could also take a look at my outside deck which I had told him needed replacing. At the same time as installing the floor, he was able to order and have delivered the wood needed for the deck. Between both projects it took about 2 weeks to complete which was absolutely amazing. Mark and his worker Justin are extremely hard working men. They are honest and quite enjoyable to work with. The pricing was very reasonable and I highly recommend them for any general contracting needs.

We have heard many stories about shoddy construction, missed target dates, lack of communication, and cost overruns with the homeowners saying "never again". Our experience was just the opposite. We received frequent updates and calls where small construction options were available and photos as construction progressed. Both Christine and Tiny were easy to work with and always available when we called. The crews that completed the work left the premises spotless. There were two items that stand out the most with us. While on vacation in AZ we found a porcelain kitchen counter product which is new to the market. Our search to find the product in CO proved to be negative. We were planning to ship the product in from CA until Christine sent us a photo of the same product that she happened to see in Denver while helping another customer. It certainly made us feel like we were her most important customer. The second item was the grout for the backsplash was not what we had chosen and a couple of the small glass tiles had tiny cracks. We called to ask about this and the next day two of Tiny's workers rang our bell and worked all day to make sure we were satisfied. There were no question asked or extra invoices I think both these issues speak well of who we were fortunate enough find and hire to perform the work on the kitchen. It was a wonderful exciting experience for us. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

So I looked online, and Floor & Decor had exactly what I wanted, on clearance! Woohoo! This is a GIGANTIC store. It seems to have literally EVERYTHING flooring that your heart could desire. I was enchanted by some of the tile. But I don't NEED any tile, so sadly passed it up. They have tile that looks like wood! And marble! I needed waterproof vinyl plank flooring to go over concrete, as apparently peel-and-stick requires a plywood base and is therefore more effort. The waterproof stuff is just click-and-lock, and can be cut with an X-acto knife. You can use 6-mil poly as a vapor barrier. This is for a small outbuilding, so 7 boxes should be sufficient. A very nice young man loaded the boxes onto a cart, and then put them into my car for me! Their prices seem very fair, although I just zeroed in on what I needed and didn't have time to fully explore the store. The tile selection seems vast. Best part: they're well-stocked, at least with what I bought. I'm fully confident that if I need another box, they'll have it in stock.

We are planning a complete kitchen remodle and we have had the opportunity to work with Scott at Mountain High Appliance. Scott has been very educational in this process regardging the products we need and his service has been on the spot! It is unusual these days to find some one that provides such excellant customer service. While we knew the direction we were going, Scott helped us with the technical aspect of the appliances we chose to make sure our install would be a sucess. We were curious about the new technology and how it would work so Scott sugested we come to their cooking class with Chef Rosie. He told us Rosie would make sure she use the appliances we purchased. What a Great Experience!!! Rosie was awesome, not only did we get a demonstration on the induction cook tops and oven we picked we also got a great lesson on cooking. Rosie took the time to answer all of our questions and showed us all the benefits of the monogram industion cook top. Along with this we got to expereince some great food that she prepared in her demonstration. If the appliances are as great as our experience with Scott and Rosie we are in for a real treat. We decided to change out all our appliances and replace them with units that matched each other. So we went to Mountain High Appliance in Littleton and were delighted with the experience. Our sales associate, Valentina, was very knowledgable and detail oriented. This was very helpful in making sure we considered all aspects of each appliance. She took her time with us and made sure we had all the information we needed to make our choices. We were very comfortable working with her as there was no doubt that she wanted us to be happy with our purchase. After the appliances were installed we had a couple of issues that required repair under warranty. This is where I really have to complement Valentina and the support department. I only had to inform her of our issues and she took it from there. They arranged for the service and followed up to assure that we were happy. Best appliance buying experience I have ever had! Thanks to Jon M my husband and I had the best experience buying our new appliances. He price matched lower prices I had found online through a different company, and gave us rebate info, so we saved a significant amount of money. We never felt as if we were dealing with a salesman. Jon never pressured us or tried to talk us into a product we did not want. He is very knowledgeable on everything in the showroom and gave us tips on how to better use our new appliances. He even made us coffee and offered us a beer. The showrooms in both Louisville and in Littleton, on Broadway, are beautiful, clean, bright, and welcoming. I want to give a big shout out to Mountain High appliances. I had a microwave that kept on shorting out and when I went in to find a replacement and there was only seven authorized dealers. I tried six and they all made me feel like an idiot gave me the runaround so I called Mountain High got a hold of a sales rep Parker, who explained everything to me gave me multiple options and suggested I think about it and give him a call back. I only thought about it for 30 minutes. I called him back and got a great price a great install and I needed to do an upgrade the first thing out of his mouth was get this fixed the second install went ais smooth the first I'm a very happy customer and I will always think of Mountain High before I go anywhere the large big box stores. even the install team answered all my questions showed me the basic and made sure I I was completely satisfied. It did take awhile for all 4 appliances to come in, but seeing my old ones were still working I decided to wait for everything to come in before they were delivered. We needed a new fridge and had a less than optimal experience with a competing high-end appliance store. When your moron delivery people could not find my house, they refused to listen to my directions. I had to roam the countryside looking for them. When they could not get the refrig up my driveway I had to help them with my trunk. They never said thanks or showed any appreciation. When the had no tools to assemble the frig, I had to loan them some. Instead of saying thank you, when I would not give them a tip, they treated me like shit and they stole the tools. I post several reviews like this when I am reminded of how Whirlpool and the person in the follow-up call treated me. I will do this for years to come. It's therapeutic. read more

Jason was a very helpful salesman who made recommendations based on specific features I wanted in a washer and dryer. He was patient with my numerous questions and knowledgeable. The delivery/setup team, Taylor and Thomas, did a great job of protecting the floor before moving out the old ones and setting up the new ones. They made sure the machines were level, tested them, and showed me the basics of using them. All I can say unless you are dressed like you can afford the high end appliances, they have no interest in helping you. We walked in and asked about high end and lower end appliances and they gave us an attitude that your not buyers and so we're not going to go out of our way to help. Unfortunately for them, we ended up buying a higher end package of kitchen appliances at another store who gave us above beyond customer service. Mountain High Appliance has a very good appliance selection and excellent sales people. Roger Lopez helped us select a new range, refrigerator, and microwave to replace our existing tired units. my wife and I are on a roll. first new refrigerator, then oven, and now microwave. didn't know microwaves have chanced so much. microwave/convection oven. Sure makes it easier on the convection side than turning on the bigger oven. like always great saleswoman that made sure we stayed within the old microwave dimensions and not. have any issues with our new tile backsplash on installing. the service and installation side again excellent. Incompetent and complete lack of integrity. Their tech came to my home three times to work on an…read moreappliance. It was never repaired. In the process the tech broke a part on the appliance and left it laying there. They said I needed a new compressor for $2,000. After researching the part I found that it cost $500. The office manager said they would make it right and when I called she wouldn't talk to me and said I had to talk to the tech. He immediately started yelling at me. Zero accountability and zero product knowledge. It's easy to see why there are so many 1-start reviews. These people are horrible.

This place is absolutely awful. They took aproximately 20+ weeks to send me two fire pits only for…read morethem to arrive defective. I now need to replace the stone caps and after they made themselves reponsible for the cost of the repairs, no one answers the phone. On top of it all, the burner components of the fire pits were "shipped" separately but are nowhere to be found to date. Do not buy from this place.

Taking a few minutes to be assured that the item was in stock I also want to thank whomever packed the oven for shipping...it was obvious that they care about the condition it would be received way out here in California. I was a great experience dealing with this company. Wish they were in SF Bay area...Denver is lucky to have such a crisp business in town.

We learned from Peak Fireplace that the average price is around $800 to $950 per fireplace. AVOID an "uncertified" installer named RICK. He had to make numerous visits to finally finish installing them. We then had to pay hundred of dollars more to make them all right from another installation firm. He was hired by our former dishonest handyman Mark Bechler of Just Builders llc. in Golden. Avoid these people at all cost!

Timberline Kitchen and Bath recently completely our Master Bath and Guest Bath remodel. Both…read moreturned out great and we are very pleased with the final results. The Master Bath was a 'down to the stubs' remodel and the Guest Bath was more an aesthetic upgrade. Staci and her team managed the entire project and navigated the various challenges in a 'down to the stubs' renovation very well. We made some minor changes along the way and Timberline and Staci were very accommodating to our changes and making sure we were happy with the new results. Master Baths are very complex with all of the various electrical, plumbing, tile work and cabinetry needing to come together to create a beautiful end product. Overall, we are very pleased with the final results and highly recommended Timberline Kitchen and Bath.
