We found a mattress that fit our needs and we didn't have to wait long for the delivery. The gentlemen who delivered our mattress we're outstanding!! Bryson and Boi were so professional and helpful. I was told this mattress would be reliable for years and that I wouldn't have to worry. The frame they recommended with the mattress fell apart quickly. They did refund the frame, which I appreciate. The mattress itself did not last. I paid $1,400 for it and got roughly two years of use, not the long-term product I was sold. When I called recently about the warranty, the owner, Dino, gave me the manufacturer number, then said the mattress likely failed because of the frame, the SAME frame he recommended as the matching pair. That is the part other buyers should know: if the store pairs a mattress with a frame, they should own that recommendation when both products fail. The call itself was the deciding factor for this review. I said the frame on the invoice is not in the condo. I do not live at that property full time, and I was not there for delivery or haul-away (both are on the invoice). I was not accusing anyone of theft. His tone was defensive and dismissive. He first said he had zero evidence the frame was delivered, then called back and said his records showed the frame had already failed and been refunded... information that should have been shared at the start instead of treated like I should already know it. I am glad they refunded the broken frame. I would not buy another mattress here as it is like an 20 year old mattress in an 2 year old body. I would not count on a calm warranty conversation if something goes wrong later. Ask in writing how the mattress warranty works if their recommended frame fails, and get the manufacturer warranty contacts before you pay.

Maui Bed Store delivered my mattress THE SAME DAY I purchased it with big smiles. And then, when I called a week later to add a boxspring, they gave me the special package price even though I didn't buy them together AND delivered that for me as well. Nice people and great products - thanks Maui Bed Store!

Front rim shimmy at speed, tires with too many miles/cuts, seat worn out, and right pedal spindle bent. I told them the morning before the ride what I was planning but that is what they gave me. Too late to back out when I picked it up. It got the job done but it was sketchy. Two employees "aloha spirit" 1 star. The comb-over guy is way burned out on tourists whom he assumes will abuse "his" rentals. Skinny dude just seemed to hate his existence in a bike shop in the middle of tourist hell, and therefore hates the existence of others who happen to be passing through his 7th ring of tourist hell. Third employee (owner?) 5 star: Welcoming, mellow, kind, knowledge, easy peasy. A pro. I would return in the future because I have a soft spot for small, local bike shops like this, but I would clarify a few days before if they would offer a little less worn bike for a ride like Haleakala. 2¢ worth: I get how old working retail and rentals gets in tourist town you guys, but be a pro with the customer or move on where you are happier and spreading less misery.

Traveling from California to Hawaii with a one-year-old can be a challenge, and knowing that so many essentials were already waiting for us made the trip so much easier. From household baby gear to beach items like floaties, having everything secured ahead of time meant we didn't have to haul bulky items through the airport. The convenience, reliability, and quality of service made a huge difference in our vacation. We would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to any family traveling with young children.
