I used Aloha Lock and Safe and spoke to Jim to supply keys to a new owner once I sold a home in Kihei. I'm off island, so I wanted to find someone I felt ok with over the phone. I explained the situation to Jim and he was good enough to have my back so I didn't feel like I was taken advantage of. He ended up doing the job and the new owner used him as well for what he wanted done. That right there should speak volumes! I would call Jim again and you will be happy if you do. read more

Moving to Maui from the mainland, I called multiple companies and John at Aloha Lock and Safe was the only one to answer the phone straight out. I recognize everyone is busy, but they are willing to go the extra mile to help. I had four locks to rekey and one turned out needing a part that was no longer made. . John made the part from scratch and it worked beautifully. His professionalism and attention to detail proved a quality service throughout. If you're in need of a locksmith don't look any further as Aloha Lock & Safe is the company to call. read more

I purchased a safe from these guys this year. They found exactly what i was looking for, and they gave me The best price on island. When the safe arrived they delivered it to where i needed it sent, and made sure it worked perfectly. The owner was on vacation for part of our sale, and he still kept up with my needs. We lost our keys on the beach and I happened to have the spare in the trunk. Aloha Lock and Safe showed up in a ridiculously short amount of time, under 10 minutes. They did inform me over the phone that they don't unlock the trunk, and why they don't, and that info was understood and appreciated. As long as they could get the door open, that was fine, we could open the trunk from there. He got the job done quickly and before you know it, we were on our way. I later went hunting for the lost key, and when I gave up, I called and asked if they do specific key replacement services, since I wanted to give him more business. They don't do what I needed, but Aloha Lock and Safe graciously referred me to the business who could, and that was also greatly appreciated. Thank you for your quick response and efficiency! read more

We called yesterday, and booked an appointment for today. James came right in the one hour window. He explained what we needed to do. Excellent work done in under an hour. What is nice is our keys cannot be duplicated by any other lock company, and our authorization is necessary. He also numbered each key so we can record who we give it to. James was very efficient, polite and professional. Excellent experience all the way around. read more

The level of service that James and Aloha Lock is superior! James went well above the call of duty to support me. First by helping me find an out-of-the-box solution to a very particular key that I needed to have programmed. Then, by coming outside of business hours for service. He was patient, kind and generous. Very quick, affordable and able to troubleshoot even the most complicated of lock & key issues! Best service on the island for sure. I called at 7 pm on Sunday because they say 24/7 service and I was locked out of my house. The guy answered but said no one would come until 7am the next morning and that I should call them then. Did they really expect me to stay outside overnight for 12 hours!? My phone would have been dead by morning and I wouldn't have been able to call back in the morning even if I was willing to sleep on the porch. Why say 24/7 service if that is clearly not the case? Disappointing. read more

We could not be happier with the service from Aloha Lock and Safe! We own a vacation rental here on Maui and wanted to install a lock on a cabinet to match the existing locks on the owners drawers. These guys are great. They came to re-key my house lock but ended up repairing other issues that I had with both my storm door lock and main entry door lock. Where do I start!? Jim provided the most professional, honest & most economical service!! My husband & I lost our keys at Kamala Beach a day before and we were resigned to pay the $250 car rental key charge & $100 for the lost condo rental key! Another lock smith whom didn't have time for me referred us to Jim! I called him at 230p on a Saturday (his day off) I explained the situation. Which was that we had a flight to catch & he was our last hope. Side note we had also contacted a guy that does metal detection in the beach but he couldn't help either. Anyway, he said he could meet us in 1hr...W.e met him while he was running his personal errands with his daughter. Jim was so nice, down to earth and in 15 min he made us 4 keys! Including the car rental key with the chip in it & the car make emblem on the key! Which the rental company specified was a must! And, he only charged us a quarter of what we would've paid. He has state of the art technology in his mobile work truck. Every key worked perfectly fine, including the car chipped key. read more

My two-year-old son locked himself in the bathroom of our vacation rental!!! I had no clue how to open the door nor did I have any tools! With my Husband out on an errand, the only thing I could think of was to use bobby pins. When those didn't work I started to get pretty frantic.I called Aloha Lock and Safe and they had me text a picture of the doorknob so they could see what kind it was and then told me to use a butter knife to open the door. That worked and my two-year-old came out safe and sound. They even called back to make sure it worked and that everything was okay. I am so grateful they helped me so quickly!! Thank you Aloha lock and Safe! read more
