Garage door rollers off track (3 bottom rollers). Tech showed up. Seemed "unsure" how to remedy problem. Kept referring to his phone. A little after 2 hours, door fixed. Got charged $250 PER HOUR, plus replacement of ALL 12 rollers (and extra labor for replacing rollers)! 3 different "labor costs" for ONE job! Supposedly "serviced" motor and explained motor over 20 yrs old. Built in 2002. Told him impossible. Built house only 10 yrs ago. Started bad mouthing original installers, claiming they're selling "old equipment". My motor has a 2014 date!! My bill was over $800.00!! Beware! They're a rip off! read more

5 stars all around ! Communication for the schedule of installation was super clear and easy thanks to Keri, Kahiau and Marie. Made sure I was aware of arrival time , length and order of installation, and also let me know of some pre arrival prep for my facility for quick and easy service. LANDON is a beast! He had to cut and fit through 3 old ancient roll up doors to replace with the new ones ordered, and he fit them in perfect. Joe was also awesome when he came and assisted. Huge thing that made me want to share my experience is how they took care of my gym during the service. Landon had full awareness of my gym flooring, making sure not do any pivoting on the floor with the lift. They also swept up leaves and cleaned up debris that flew into my gym when the doors were open, which was above and beyond for me. Again mahalo to the Maui Garage door team as a whole, from one business to another read more

This is a great team and I strongly recommend them! I'll spread the word. read more

One of my garage door springs snapped. Two friends , both realtors, recommended Maui Garage Doors. I called on a Friday and scheduled the repair for the following Tuesday. I told them it was a 16 foot door. They quoted me $438 to $483 for the repair. We adjusted our schedules to be home for this. They never called or showed up. When my wife called them they said they couldn't find record of it. I called the next morning and they said the info didn't get passed along to scheduling and we set up another appointment for first thing the following Friday. The tech showed up and was very polite and got the job done quickly. Then he handed me the bill for $515 plus tax so a total of $539 and change! Scheduling issues and now a different price. They got the job done but I doubt they will get my recommendations when my neighbors ask. It's the little things that go a long way. read more

They fixed every issue with precision and professionalism, delivering fantastic results. What impressed me the most was their commitment to follow up on everything they promised, ensuring that the job was done to my satisfaction. Despite the initial hiccups, I would recommend Maui Garage Door for their quality work and dedication to customer satisfaction. Jacob was fantastic, explained every step of the process, should me everything I need to know about the door. read more

I've been procrastinating on the replacement of our over 16 year old garage door system until it started recently act up. Maui Garage Doors pop up right away when searching on Yelp. After reading reviews, I called on a late Thursday afternoon and was sent a quote from Melissa ASAP. I was pleased with the quote and she set up installation appointment for the following Tuesday. The morning of the appointment she sent a reminder text and provided installation time and technician. Joe arrived on time and was friendly and professional explaining the process from start to finish. We have a quiet belt system now, he did a thorough assessment of our existing garage door parts and when they would need maintenance or replacement. Even received a post follow up call from another representative to make sure appointment went well. Their communication and service was on point and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to get their garage door system replaced. read more

We always go to Maui Garage Door for our Garage Door Needs. We recently got 2 new motors installed with 2 Openers. It runs smooth as butter and the lights are working for the first time because its brand new. We deal with Melissa at the office. You can't help but have a great day after you talk to her. She is so positive and upbeat and she also always comes through with what she says. She follows through beautifully. Then Aaron arrives to install the motors. He is very professional and he's super fast at what he does. We are amazed. Maui Garage Door's is the only place to go when you want work done on your garage door or when you want to buy new ones. Excellent service, friendly, and very responsive. My unit was a 1999 and they had a circuit board to fix it. I highly recommend them.

We had a dryer repair person hit our garage and dent it. That dent turned into a complete garage door collapse within 10 days . I called and spoke to Joann at Maui Garage Doors. She sent Logan and he was quick to come out and assess the damage and Kari quoted the best deal and fastest install with doors instock and not a 6 to 8 month wait !!.... We got our install done by Jacob in a fast and meticulous manner and we couldnt be more impressed. Everyone was friendly and efficient. Great customer service. Melissa at the front office was great, she kept me informed on my service call and the status of her workers via text. So friendly, like talking to family. A big shoutout to Maui Garage Doors and Logan, one of their technicians. It's the second time that we use Maui Garage Door services and each time they were responsive, accommodating, timely, and effective. Several years ago they replaced the garage door springs and serviced the door. About one week ago the door was stuck. Logan arrived and got to work troubleshooting the problem right away. Logan was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and courteous. He fixed the issue and serviced the door. Thank you Maui Garage Doors! You have an excellent employee in Logan. Joe did a great job of replacing the worn-out belts on our 2 garage doors and maintenance of our complete systems. Contacted MGD for evaluation of old garage door. It was beyond help so we ordered a new one. Install went well except for 1 damaged panel. Ordered replacement panel and requested they replace current wires on one side. Bottom line, although the install was fine, the charge to replace wire was outrageously high, and the workmanship was below par. When I questioned the charge, their reply, from an executive, bordered on arrogant. Too bad, they seemed like a good company to work with. read more

Decided to call on Maui Garage Doors to repair our spring that broke, because they had a website with info, vs. no website for their competitor. APPOINTMENT: Called on a Monday afternoon to a very professional office. Got offered an appointment the next day. SERVICE: The tech phoned me the next morning to give me a window of what time he'd be coming. He put a temporary fix on the spring because he needed to custom cut our size spring. He came back a week-and-a-half later to put in the permanent spring. The garage door is as quiet as ever when in motion. TIP: Apparently they service the Kahului area only on Tuesdays and Fridays. OVERALL: Great service, price is about average I guess and workmanship is top notch! read more

AMAZING Company! It's a pleasure to do business with Maui Garage Doors because they are so very focused on their customers. In the office, Melissa manages the scheduling and is always friendly, patient, and kind. And Joe was the Technician who was able to come out within 24 hours. He explained everything that was causing the problem and was able to repair it the same day. We've owned this home for eight years and have had the door serviced several times by others, but it has never run this smoothly. It runs as though it is brand new. We're thrilled and so appreciative of Joe's work. He's an incredible Technician. If there was an option to rate for quality of service "EXCELLENCE" would be the one to describe Maui Garage Doors! We arrived home to find one of our garage doors not closing properly. I looked up garage services on Yelp and found an excellent review on Maui Garage Doors. I spoke with Keola who was very knowledgable, helpful and professional. She told me the days they worked Upcountry. I scheduled the visit. Keola said someone would call between 7:30-8:30 on Monday morning to give a more specific service window. Ray called within the time frame, and told us he would be there between 11:30-1:30. He showed up at 11:30 on the dot, analyzed our problem, and had it fixed and both doors serviced within 35 minutes. We are very impressed with the professionalism of Maui Garage Doors, and their excellent administrative and technical staff. They will certainly be our "go to" company for any garage issues, and we would enthusiastically recommend them to our neighbors and friends. read more

A couple years ago our spring tensioner broke and they came the same day to fix it enough to be able to manually open the door while waiting for parts, then they came back to finish fixing it when the parts came in (our door and hardware is easily 20-30+ years old and not the same standard stuff sold today). Today a cable snapped (rusted all the way through). and the door could not open. They came within hours and got it all fixed (new cables, some new mounting brackets, and an overall adjustment). It's working great again. After this second repair I decided it's time to leave a review. Garage doors are great, but as they age they will need maintenance...likely at the worst possible time...and if cables or tensioners break the door might be impossible to open. It's great to know this company is here; they have come on a short notice multiple times to get our door open and ultimately fixed. They will definitely be our first call the next time our garage door needs attention. read more

Today I needed servicing from Maui Garage Doors . I was so happy to be able to be serviced in between runs by Joe the service tech. Joe was knowledgable, efficient and friendly. I was saddened to hear that Javan the owner of MGD had passed away about a year ago. Javan installed all of our garage doors here at Waikapu Gardens when our subdivision was developed. Javan became a friend to all of us, what a nice guy Javan was. My condolences to Keri and all of the family, Javan is missed. I just want to add that Javan must be very proud of his staff. Joe and Melissa (Aaron too) who really represent Javans memory well. They are exceptional in their respective fields, and a pleasure to have worked with today. Thank you. Thank you . read more

I needed a replacement garage door opener so I called Maui Garage Doors for an estimate. The office staff was very helpful. they had the model I wanted in stock and set up an appointment for the work about a week later. The office called me the morning of the work scheduled to let me know what time to expect the installer, and in fact, he came about an hour early. Logan was very professional, did a great job, removing my old equipment and installing the new.
