This is the third time I've needed to call Every Door Service in the past twenty years. They have been around for a long time and are reliable. A few weeks ago, the spring on our garage door broke in the early morning. I got through to the Company when they opened at 8 a.m. Derek provided instructions on how to get our door open. I was able to get my car out and get to work. He arranged a time later that morning to replace the spring, and everything was back to normal by the end of the day. read more

Jarrett came to my house and inspected everything and showed me how to maintain the hinges and the tracks and what to look out for on the spool. The house was built in 2008 and never maintained in the past, so I am thankful it is still working and am committed to following his instructions. read more

I pressed the button to raise our garage door, and it went up only 2 feet. Closed it and tried again, only to find out something was really wrong. Ah gees... I went over to look at the pull cables on both ends, which were fine. The main spring was intact. Turned out, we needed a new motor. Phoned EDS and got an appointment the very same morning! The tech arrived about 2 hours later. For around $540 including labor, we received a new Marantec motor, new track, new safety sensors, 3 new transmitters, a new interior control panel, and something we never had before, an exterior keypad that's also illuminated. The tech was having difficulty programming the exterior keypad and interior control panels. Once he got one working, the other wouldn't work. After about 3 hours stuck on this issue alone, he found out that the new motor was defective. He had to go back to the shop, pick up a new one, remove the defective one, and install the new one. The new motor is much smaller and isn't as fast as our old one, and makes a little rattling sound in the chain track when in operation, which I may need to have the guy come back and check. But, it works as expected! OVERALL: Maui's garage door service options are limited like it's shopping and restaurants. Choose these guys or their two or three other competitors and you can't go wrong. They're all locally owned and have been around for a while. read more

I contacted this company to repair one side of our double glass doors that had a lot of play in them, banging constantly in the wind. After a couple of calls I was able to get Derek to come out. He gave me a verbal estimate and told me he would go back to the office and put it in writing, emailing it to me. I did not hear from him again. After 3 phone calls I got someone on the phone who assured me that I would have the estimate in my email by the next day. I had already gotten approval from my manager for the repairs to be done and requested a time/date be set up for the work. She gave me a story about Derek being short handed, which I do understand. But if you cannot do what you said you would just tell me... so I can move on to plan B! We'll needless to say the estimate never showed up and I was never called to schedule the work. I have been on this island for 3 years and the lack of professionalism astounds me. I have no idea how these business keep their doors open. read more

His crew put up the new wind resistant garage door in less than a day Very efficient. Very happy with the price, the product and the work.
