A few weeks ago, the spring on our garage door broke in the early morning. I got through to the Company when they opened at 8 a.m. Derek provided instructions on how to get our door open. I was able to get my car out and get to work. He arranged a time later that morning to replace the spring, and everything was back to normal by the end of the day.

I was very impressed with how fast he worked and would highly recommend him.

AllTech Professionals is everything I was looking for in a handyman. I would highly recommend…read moreAllTech Professionals, which is a family business. They just did a renovation job on one of my rental properties in Makiki. It included reflooring, painting, and numerous repairs and they delivered more than they promised. They are honest, reasonable, communicative, reliable, accommodating, and best of all hardworking with great quality workmanship. These qualities are certainly challenging to find in a handyman these days but I am happy to recommend them. I worked with Donovan, the foreman who kept in touch with me everyday and sent me photos of their progress. He is professional and super friendly and I appreciate how he met me at the hardware store, shopped for all the materials, and I paid the hardware store. This way I'm not making a blind deposit for "materials" bearing the risk of the contractor taking the money and running. Once a contract is signed they did require 50% Deposit on the labor cost but the work was already in progress. They're also fully insured. A neighbor in the same building was so impressed with their work that they hired them on the spot to have their flooring redone as well! I found AllTech Professionals on Yelp through their "Obtain a Quote" process. I love Yelp for this feature as it has saved me so much time on managing my projects. They responded right away, showed up on time to the appointment, understood the tasks without overselling, we worked on the written agreement and purchased supplies the next day, and the job started the day after and was finished in the estimated timeframe they promised. What's not to love?! Call Donovan at (808)208-1773. He and his brother Ben did an excellent job. They have operations on Oahu and Maui. Mahalo, Donovan and AllTech Professionals. Fortunately for us, he was able to help replace our sliding doors for a reasonable price right after finishing up our neighbor's doors. This was such a nice option because we originally called another business who ships them in but was told it could take months to ship in (during pandemic). They responded quickly, within 24 hours...and were able to come on site to view the job within 48 and begin the process of repairs. They typically bring rescreens back to their home base which is downstairs from Cavalry Chapel on Ohukai Rd. New screens they would obviously construct and bring them in to swap out what you currently have. In either case, expect the first visit to be an assessment of work and measurements of screens. Second and final visit would be installations...next day is a fair time to expect the second visit. The current price for new screens is $55 per my receipt and the current price for rescreens (existing frame okay) is $25. I had a screen door that needed a few repairs including a rescreen but also new wheels and a new dog grill added. That ran me $180 installed . I mention these prices only because I was just told it's "typically $60 per screen"...though I was told by Larry the dog grill wouldn't be cheap because they're not cheap at the hardware store in town. All this being said, Larry and Cynda were very good communicators via text and showed up when they said they would. They're flexible in terms of the payments they accept and they are highly professional. They also work fast! Larry is an honest tradesman and will tell you when you can save money by doing things yourself or buying things yourself. He will still give you the DIY advice! He's a good man. My only knock is they didn't give me a bid/invoice until after the work had begun...but they did prep me on the average price per screen. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs screen repairs on Maui, especially those in Kihei.
