For 2 wooden door shims installed, and the tiling I asked for wasn't possible to do, I paid nearly $900!!!! $135 per hour and 5 hours time, when Geoff the handyman was in and out under an hour, was driving 1 hour each way which means I was charged 2 hours for a Home Depot run. I contacted Jonathan to complain about the time he had charged but he was rude and kept texting me to the point I refused to answer him anymore as he was starting to harass me. His reply to me below is the tone to expect. I am Yelp Elite. I don't write a bad review just to annoy a local business. I write truthful reviews, I wouldn't be Elite if I didn't. I would definitely not recommend using this company, they have to be the most expensive on island! Testified by some of the later reviews below.

When Kalani Island Maintenance was contacted the came the same day and accessed the situation. They were back to early the next day to start the remediation process. They did a beautiful job with repairs and painting. What also impressed me was Gavin keeping me updated on the process and immediately responded to my texts. Very professional customer service. And this was with the first event. 3 days after the repairs were done the unit above leaked water into our unit again, worse than before. I contacted Gavin, and his crew was out within hours to start the remediation process over again. I couldn't ask for a better response. He repaired a pocket door, installed overhead shelving in our garage, hung curtain rods, built shelving for a closet, installed a wall mount for the TV, installed two toilets, a garbage disposal and a new kitchen faucet. My husband would give him a list, and Ken would go to the store and pick up the needed supplies. Besides being a gifted craftsman, he is a great guy!
