AllTech Professionals is everything I was looking for in a handyman. I would highly recommend AllTech Professionals, which is a family business. They just did a renovation job on one of my rental properties in Makiki. It included reflooring, painting, and numerous repairs and they delivered more than they promised. They are honest, reasonable, communicative, reliable, accommodating, and best of all hardworking with great quality workmanship. These qualities are certainly challenging to find in a handyman these days but I am happy to recommend them. I worked with Donovan, the foreman who kept in touch with me everyday and sent me photos of their progress. He is professional and super friendly and I appreciate how he met me at the hardware store, shopped for all the materials, and I paid the hardware store. This way I'm not making a blind deposit for "materials" bearing the risk of the contractor taking the money and running. Once a contract is signed they did require 50% Deposit on the labor cost but the work was already in progress. They're also fully insured. A neighbor in the same building was so impressed with their work that they hired them on the spot to have their flooring redone as well! I found AllTech Professionals on Yelp through their "Obtain a Quote" process. I love Yelp for this feature as it has saved me so much time on managing my projects. They responded right away, showed up on time to the appointment, understood the tasks without overselling, we worked on the written agreement and purchased supplies the next day, and the job started the day after and was finished in the estimated timeframe they promised. Our mailbox has been on it's last leg since we moved into our home a couple years ago. It's been knocked off it's post a couple times and I finally decided it was time to replace it after it almost fell off when I was checking my mail. It took me longer to choose a mailbox and post than it took Adam to respond to our help request. Once I had our mailbox I asked about the job and they replied real fast and said they could do the job. Finding a reliable handyman isn't always easy and after reading the reviews and getting a couple quotes I decided these were the guys. I'm so glad I did! Right after I told them I wanted to hire them I got a quote to my email. Shandon called me up right after to schedule a time to come take a look and do the job. Had a project to build a new attached shed that exactly matches the decor of my house (sto & monier tile) per our association rules. Went to yelp for bids and sent out detailed specs and pics: got one bid for $8k, 10 days, 10 guys; one for $5.5k, 6 guys, 5 days; one for $2k plus materials ($3.3k total), 3 guys, 2 days, and one for $1.2k, 1 guy, 1day. Immediately threw the last one out, cuz no way could this be done in one day. I did my due diligence on the other bidders and was satisfied that they were all legit. Then we did a little more digging on the guys that are actually doing the work. The next lowest bidder hadn't been in business very long but looked good on the better business bureau site and the state tax site. They were also local guys and they looked like they had done some good work so we decided to give them a call. The owner, Adam, was very responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. He sent a contract over and I was pleased with the terms. The one big question I had was what happens if they don't finish on time, were they going to charge us a per day fee? So we contracted with them to do the job. They said they would start at 9 AM on Saturday. I got a text at 9:15 telling me that they would be late and I was thinking WTF?! Come to find out the door that I had specified for the job was supposed to be available at the Kapolei Home Depot but wasn't. They tracked down the only one on the island: it was at the town store. So these guys actually had started early and wild-goose-chased the door down for me. Anyway they showed up at 9:45 even with all the extra running around, with two guys and promptly got to work. I was expecting 2 young local boys trying to figure it out. What we actually got was 2 construction guys with experience, that were probably doing some side work. They had all the tools and moved with a purpose. I set up cameras to film them doing the job, which they didn't mind. I like watching professionals engage in their craft. Anyway they completed the framing on the first day then came back on time the second day with three guys and got the monier tile and the stucco on. By the end of the day, they had a total of 5 guys working. Their foreman, Ben, asked if it would be all right to come the next day (Monday), to finish up some loose ends so I said OK. No charge. When I came home on Monday afternoon, I noticed that there was a small area where the stucco corner look like it had been damaged so I sent a picture to Ben and he said they would have someone out the next day to fix it. They did. No charge. In summary, they did a great job, essentially over the weekend, and addressed punchlist items promptly and to my satisfaction, at the best price I could get. Communication is also very important with us...these guys were very good with letting us know what was going on, what to expect, and promptly. This led to Good customer service, as they were attentive to our needs. Very happy with these guys and will definitely call them for my numerous other projects around the house. read more

I contacted All Tech on Saturday night through Yelp for a quote , and Adam responded within 30 minutes! I sent him photos of my project and he was able to schedule an appointment the next morning to view, Amazing! The next morning I received a call from one of his team members confirming my appointment and they were on time, very courteous, and professional. We walked through the project and the Tech guys took measurements and photos. They really seemed knowledgeable about fixing older homes. I received an estimate from Adam later the same day since I am on a tight schedule for these repairs. The estimate was fair and nothing was unclear. I really would have enjoyed working with these guys and will definitely be back again for another project. Quality, prompt service. I reached out to Adam to schedule and plan the service that needed to be done. I had to select, mount and set up security cameras. Zac, the technician, came by to assess the property, talk through the plans and get me comfortable with the action plan. He then promptly set up a date to do the install. On the date of the install, he showed up early for the assignment and spent time installing and troubleshooting issues we inevitably ran into along the way. At the end of the day, the cameras were installed properly, wires stowed and tucked away nicely (so that they didn't stand out) and minimal impact was done to the house. I've had a broken window AC unit for a very long time, but I never gotten around to replacing it. However, after enduring a year of agonizing heat in my own home (I exaggerate, but you know what I mean), I finally bought a replacement AC. I live in a second floor condo, and since I have absolutely zero skill in installing anything, I called All Tech Professionals. I stumbled on this company as I scoured Yelp. After reading all the great reviews, I called them, and was relieved to hear a friendly voice at the end of the line. The two professionals who came and replaced my old window AC, were Shandon and Russ. These two brothers definitely knew what they were doing, and tolerated all my requests. They even hauled my new AC from my car and up the stairs to my place, as well as disposed of my old AC unit. They were also very considerate regarding the HOA rules. Everybody from this company that I interacted with, particularly Shandon and Russ, were very responsive and professional. Super easy to work with, and they cleaned up after themselves!
