Like many others, we had a great experience with Paradise Flooring and would highly recommend them…read morefor any/all of your flooring needs! I used them twice in the past year. The first time was to replace laminate flooring in half of my condo following a refrigerator leak. Paradise Flooring was able to match the existing flooring, originally purchased from a different company nearly 10 years ago. They also connected me to a great installer. The whole process was smooth and efficient, and the finished product is perfect, as if nothing had ever happened. The second time was purchasing ceramic tiles for the shower wall of my parents' condo during their building-wide plumbing replacement. Again, I wanted to match the existing shower walls (possibly from the 80's) and although a perfect match was not possible, the ones we chose are very close and look great. Besides the product itself, I appreciated Paradise Flooring for their clear communication, kind and professional staff, and efficiency and care even though this was a relatively small job. Thanks, Paradise Flooring!

They were helpful, knowledgable, informative, and patient with me as I struggled between a couple of options. They were able at help me look for carpeting that fit my needs, without making me feel pushed - or like I was getting the hard sell. They were able to tell me what they had in stock, and for choices that were not readily available, how quickly these could be shipped to Hawaii. And...they were nice about everything...When I had questions about the process, they responded to my e-mails in a very timely manner. Paradise did not do the carpet installation themselves, but they were able to provide me with contact information for vendors that they had vetted and found to be reliable. This was very helpful - as the vendor I chose was one of their recommendations, and he was also very good.

What a great contractor! Kurt Duval is the owner/operator of Duval Tile & Stone. Kurt is fully…read morelicensed and insured, and his company has been operating on Maui for over 17 years. Kurt's level of care and commitment is simply unparalleled, and his work shows the highest levels of experience and skill. He is very passionate about his work and a true artist in his field. Moreover, he is an extremely nice guy, and his rates are very competitive. Duval Tile & Stone recently tiled the entryway to our townhome in Wailea as well as a very large lanai in the back of our unit. When our unit was built in 2007, the cement pads laid by the builder were not level or "square", and over the years hairline cracks had developed in the cement. To ensure that the new porcelain tile that Kurt was installing for us would be level and resistent to developing cracks in the future, he had to do a significant amount of remedial work to level the cement pads and seal all existing cracks before laying any new tile. The best part about hiring Duval Tile & Stone is that the owner, Kurt Duval, actually does all of the tile work himself. Typically, you will only see the owner of a tile company two times: 1) when you get the initial bid, and 2) when you give him the final payment. That is definitely not the case with Kurt Duval. He is on the worksite EVERY DAY, doing all of the work himself. Why? Because he wants the job done right! Kurt's work ethic is truly amazing in this day and age! So, how did it all turn out? Well, Kurt did a wonderful job in installing all of the tiles. And, by the way, everyday he left the worksite neat and clean. Professionalism, integrity, and craftsmanship -- this is what Kurt Duval brings to the job. Needless to say, my wife and I are delighted with our new entryway and lanai, and we will definitely use Duval Tile & Stone for any future projects. We highly recommend Duval Tile & Stone!
