After not hearing anything back by the 18th I contacted another company who actually answered the phone and made an appointment for the next day. They arrived as promised. Then today, a week after submitting the request, I get a response asking if I still needed the repair. Sorry, but waiting a week for a response that Yelp said should be within 24hrs is unacceptable, even in these rough times. read more

I highly recommend JAB Handyman Services. I had a Samsung dishwasher that wasn't draining. I contacted John through yelp and he responded immediately. What's even better is that I live in Kapalua and John had no problem coming out to West Maui. Many appliance repair companies are in Kahului or Kihei and they don't come out to Kapalua. More importantly, John was very punctual and efficient. He fixed the problem within an hour and his bill was extremely reasonable. I also have to say that I have not had very good luck in finding good reliable repair people in Maui who actually show up at their scheduled time. Maybe that's why I am impressed with John. He accepted my job on yelp, showed up during his scheduled time and fixed the problem without issue. John is definitely now my go-to appliance guy. read more
