I'm exploring options to update my dated tile flooring, and I knew I had contacted the right place…read moreafter speaking with them. They were knowledgeable, professional, and provided several options for me to consider. Their flooring technician, Michael, came out to evaluate my floors and took the time to explain material choices, floor transition considerations, and the installation process in detail. His expertise, attention to detail, and clear communication gave me confidence in his knowledge and professionalism. While I haven't moved forward with the project yet, my initial experience with Jonathan and Michael has been very positive, and I appreciate the time they spent helping me understand my options.

If I had known about Robert's expertise, I would have consulted him on the door before ordering, which was what he recommended I do next time. Guess what? I believe he is absolutely right! I did check with him on a future door installation that I have planned and I am now super confident with my online purchase. His team was clean and thoughtful. He listened to my ideas, which although weren't complex, my ideas were particular. I appreciated his suggestions and his welcoming attitude when I brought up concerns during the job. He is now my go-to person when I need heavy repair, renovation work around our house, and believe me, in a 25 year old home, there is lots to do! I hesitated writing this review because there is a selfish part of me that wants to keep him a secret! But, Maui peeps, you should support him and his business because we need companies like this. He is a family man, he cared for and supported families escaping the Lahaina fires but STILL managed to keep his appointments. He is very reasonable, offering a lot of value for his time, talent and work. You will not go wrong with hiring him for your next handy man job. I don't offer a lot of 5 stars. But when I do, I do.

When Kalani Island Maintenance was contacted the came the same day and accessed the situation. They were back to early the next day to start the remediation process. They did a beautiful job with repairs and painting. What also impressed me was Gavin keeping me updated on the process and immediately responded to my texts. Very professional customer service. And this was with the first event. 3 days after the repairs were done the unit above leaked water into our unit again, worse than before. I contacted Gavin, and his crew was out within hours to start the remediation process over again. I couldn't ask for a better response. And as with the first incident, the finished repairs are better than my expectations. I highly recommend.

We obtained Ken's name from our condo manager. So with this recommendation, we gave him a try. We have had Ken do many handyman chores for us. He shows up on time, works hard and does a skilled and professional job. He repaired a pocket door, installed overhead shelving in our garage, hung curtain rods, built shelving for a closet, installed a wall mount for the TV, installed two toilets, a garbage disposal and a new kitchen faucet. My husband would give him a list, and Ken would go to the store and pick up the needed supplies. Besides being a gifted craftsman, he is a great guy! Friendly, good humored, reasonably priced, professional and he cleans up any mess! We highly recommend Ken for any project you need help with!

In the middle of the job, he said he'd have to come back to finish it on another day, even though he had told me it would be a one day repair. On the day he was supposed to finish it, he texted to cancel so we rescheduled. When he came back the following week to finish the job, he tried to charge me double and explained that he had a minimum charge per visit. I reminded him that it was HIS decision to come back on a second day and he never mentioned he was going to charge me for a 2nd visit. If he had been transparent about that, I would have asked him to finish it on the first day since that's what he quoted me for the repair. He ended up going back to his original quote, but he acted annoyed as if I was haggling with him. Super unprofessional and dishonest, and I would never recommend him to anyone.
