They made a mistake on paint color because the owner is legally and admittedly color blind and is charging me for that mistake. He refused to show up for touch ups until I paid in full even though I don't think I owe $62 of the $13k paint job. So on the day of my house photos there were all kinds of painting mistakes all because I wasn't giving him the $62 I don't think I owe. I was the best host... I spent $75/day on snacks for the crew and was so understanding the whole time. Literally zero aloha. The main guy Ethan seems so nice but will turn on you in a second. Was barely there, made his guys do everything. He mentioned "all his customers" try to get money knocked off at the end - and now I know why. He didn't check things. The secretary (family owned which is the owner's wife) that handle the finance is very rude. I don't live in Maui but own a condo at Aston; unfortunately, the management company required to have popcorn ceiling remove and repaint in order to be part of the management pool. The project took them over 6 months, a long time which I didn't care but once they were done, they demanded the money immediately or additional late fee apply. Just came back to the island after a year from the completed work, finding the work was not completed. Not all popcorn ceilings were remove and walls were not repainted. Don't ever allow a company to work on your property unless you can be there physically to overlook the project vs. a management company.

He replied quickly, gave me a quote after I described the area I needed help with, and actually offered me a couple different times to come down and complete our landscaping. Due to its age, it had lots of problematic spots which required an extremely skilled crew to take on. Extensive restoration was needed to preserve the historic structure. Malcom and team were the perfect fit for the project. They're masters of their craft and extremely clean, punctual and professional in their day to day operation. We have worked with them twice now, once for our commercial job painting our shop and again for our home.
