Wires everywhere. Each station honestly looked like a rats nest. and even after spending all day at my place, they left several items unfinished ... I complained, but the affiliate told me it would be another 3 weeks before they could fix the wiring. But honestly, it was more than just wiring. The crew that they sent out were inexperienced .. they chipped paint .. they drilled holes that they later didn't need... and ended up spending almost all day at my house & then charging me over $1100?? and at the end of the day they had to leave early because they had other appointments .. leaving several items unfinished. I'm very happy to report that my next phone call was to E design.. after reading a few of their 5 star reviews, I felt very confident that they would be able to help straighten this mess out. Days later .. Not only did E design help .. but they sent over a technician by the name of Mike who I would highly recommend. Mike worked all day tirelessly without food or anything to drink that I could see. ( Although I offered ). Mike was there on a mission from God. And he never stopped until the job was not only done to a satisfactory level... but I would easily say E designs exceeded any expectations I may have had. They were able to run all of my wiring behind the wall and when they were done, left only a nice pleasant area. I was proud of. I know my bill is gonna be high.. but I can tell you right now. They were worth every penny. And I would happily recommend their services to anyone that has an eye for detail & wants to have a system that is wired professionally. At this point, I will be using E design to further enhance the audio quality of my new home theater. And can't wait to have them back.!! They finally turned up and said they had done the job but they hadn't and we needed them back within 24 hrs. They didn't respond to AHS calls either so AHS had to contact their representative agent to contact Yap to see what was happening. After the 3rd time this happened even my AHS agent was getting annoyed by Yap's unprofessionalism! So, after 3 visits Yap still hadn't solved the problem!!!! I'm now paying an electrician independently to do the repair that Yap are incapable of doing. The company is a joke: Q. How many Yap Electric employees does it take to mend a fan? A. It doesn't matter, they can't!!

We have a tankless hot water system. They said we needed to expand our electric panel and we paid them to do this. However, the lights still flicker when we turn on the hot water. Additionally, they never got the permit approval from the county although we paid for it, so the work is not permitted. Also, if you check the state contractors license board, they are not a licensed contractor, so we have no recourse but honest reviews. I also paid them to fix light switches which still don't work. To their credit, they did put in a 220v outlet in the kitchen for my electric oven and induction cooktop, and that is working. But that is the only thing they did that works and we are out of a lot of money. We are kapuna living on fixed income, so thousands of dollars wasted to fix something and it's still broke is a big deal. Another thing - check your invoices. They quoted me time and materials, but then they just charged one amount and didn't invoice time OR materials, just one lump sum for work that was never done. Then they said no county permit unless I paid balance in full for incomplete work, which we did, but still no county permit approval. I hired them based on good reviews, but I got bad service. I feel very taken advantage of.

They found a loose connection in the attic junction box which I would have never thought to look for. They were very professional, thorough and competitively priced. My girlfriend calls back and the person that answers the phone says that I gave them the ok to come early? In which I did not. Anyways very poor communication and did not try to call us back admit they came early or at least get the estimator guy back to give a proper estimate at the time they scheduled. Already starting off on a bad foot. Sent emails and no communication back what so ever to make it right. Our gf's parents ended up arguing with each other that they missed the appointment when they didn't miss the appointment the dude came super early. We told her parents not their fault guy came early before scheduled time. Communication and punctuality wasn't there.
