If you need a mattress, you need to call Maui Bed Store! I just bought a fabulous Sealy bed at a great price and am floored by the incredibly customer service and true aloha I was shown! Maui Bed Store delivered my mattress THE SAME DAY I purchased it with big smiles. And then, when I called a week later to add a boxspring, they gave me the special package price even though I didn't buy them together AND delivered that for me as well. Nice people and great products - thanks Maui Bed Store! read more

I bought a King Jade FET mattress and platform from Maui Bed Store in January 2022. My main request on the sales call was a setup that would hold up and last long. I was told this mattress would be reliable for years and that I wouldn't have to worry. The frame they recommended with the mattress fell apart quickly. They did refund the frame, which I appreciate. The mattress itself did not last. I paid $1,400 for it and got roughly two years of use, not the long-term product I was sold. When I called recently about the warranty, the owner, Dino, gave me the manufacturer number, then said the mattress likely failed because of the frame, the SAME frame he recommended as the matching pair. That is the part other buyers should know: if the store pairs a mattress with a frame, they should own that recommendation when both products fail. The call itself was the deciding factor for this review. I said the frame on the invoice is not in the condo. I do not live at that property full time, and I was not there for delivery or haul-away (both are on the invoice). I was not accusing anyone of theft. His tone was defensive and dismissive. He first said he had zero evidence the frame was delivered, then called back and said his records showed the frame had already failed and been refunded... information that should have been shared at the start instead of treated like I should already know it. I am glad they refunded the broken frame. I would not buy another mattress here as it is like an 20 year old mattress in an 2 year old body. I would not count on a calm warranty conversation if something goes wrong later. Ask in writing how the mattress warranty works if their recommended frame fails, and get the manufacturer warranty contacts before you pay. read more

What a great experience. Nick was so helpful from beginning to end. Excellent customer service. He asked some great questions to narrow down our search and make the process painless. Like a few other reviews mentioned, you need to make an appt. We appreciated it as we had full attention from beginning to end, making the actual in store time shorter so we could be outside playing. We'll call Nick again in a heartbeat for our bedding needs and have already been telling our friends about the great experience. I can't comment on delivery and haul away yet as we get our bed tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's the same excellent service. I can't imagine it not being anything but great. read more

After visiting every single furniture store in Kahului and Kihei we finally found a bed store that has a good selection of California King size frames and headboards. The prices are very reasonable and range from $600-$800 which is substantially less that the average $1,200 we found elsewhere. Due to Covid-19 they only only open by appointment but it was easy to schedule an appointment by calling them. Our sales rep was friendly and we opted for their $50 delivery charge rather than haul it home ourselves. They can also set it up at your house for $50. If you're looking for a bed this is your place. read more

Maui Bed Store - Great selection here - Mattresses Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

The customer experience starts with the first phone call. I called inquiring about platform bed options. This Dino jerk promptly tells me that he has nothing under $399 if that is going to bed a problem for me. Are you serious? What would make you come to that conclusion and, moreover, feel comfortable enough to voice it? Although the new Ashley Homestore's options were quite pricey, I was treated with respect and my potential business was valued. I will be returning there this afternoon to make a purchase. read more

Bait and Switch Alert and False Advertising. We shopped online and found the mattress that we wanted from this stores own website. We then when to the same store and when we wanted to buy it, the salesman said the website is OLD and those prices are no longer valid. It will be hundreds of dollars more expensive. He said they don't price match their own websites prices. And they have no plans to update their website. I have never seen such a Bait and Switch tactic and False Advertising. Their website is what got us to the store only to see the same mattress hundreds of dollars more. read more

Excellent customer service! We just bought a mattress, bed frame, and end tables from Maui Bed Store and are very happy with the service and product! Keoni was very patient and helpful in the store, and arranged for a quick delivery once we decided what we wanted. Keoni and Richie delivered the furniture promptly, and they assembled all the new furniture; they were very efficient and respectful. I definitely recommend using Maui Bed Store for your bedroom furniture purchases. read more

I ordered 2 queen size mattresses from Chris. I live in California and went by his experience of what I was sold. They delivered per my request To my condo, I gave them the access code. When I arrived 4 days later it was NOT the mattress for me. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I spoke with Dino and he assured me there was no return policy and I could not return the mattresses. 2000$... REALLY??? This is horrible !! I have a product I'm to sleep on that doesn't work for me. Wow!! And Dino the representative of this Company BLOCKED ME ON HIS CELL PHONE! I'm now working with my credit card company to return these unused mattresses and be reimbursed. read more

I came here for a platform bed frame only, and not a mattress. I didn't need to get rid of an old bed or old frame. So I can't comment on any of those products or services. Dino was very friendly and nice. Service at this store is clearly a strong point. That said, I'm annoyed that I had to make an appointment and drive from Kahului to Kihei. What kind of store isn't just open? From the various online descriptions I found about Maui Bed Store I assumed it would be really large and offer a lot of different choices, hence the need for an appointment. But it was actually a really small store and they had just a few choices for platform bed frames. That was a little confusing. After 3 days of sleeping on my tile floor of my new condo I was really ready to buy a bed frame (I already had the mattress). From the terrific Yelp reviews I assumed I'd just buy whatever Maui Bed Store had and call it a day. I was looking for something really basic and inexpensive but solid. But the platform frames they had seemed sort of cheaply made for the price ($300? $400? more?) so as desperate as I was for a bed frame, I decided to pass. I ended up at a bed store in Kahului where I bought a similar bed frame to the one offered at Maui Bed Store for at least 30% less and without having to make an appointment. I walked in and the salesman showed me the options and suggested one in particular (the least expensive, much to my surprise) and I was in and out in 10 minutes. A friendly warehouse guy loaded it into my Honda Accord and the box even had wheels on it so I was able to roll the 100 pound box up to my condo myself. It only took a few minutes to assemble the frame and I was good to go. I got my second platform bed frame from Wayfair (online) and the shipping cost as much as the bed frame, but it was solid Alder hardwood. So if all you need is a basic bed frame I don't think this is the place. Read the other reviews for the other products and services. read more

Avoid this place. Go to mattress firm near Whole Foods. The customer service is excellent in selling you on the phone and setting up delivery but the quality of their products is super poor and they will not accept exchanges even in an unopened bag. They dropped the poor quality product at the door while we were away and ran. I worked for two of the largest mattress firms as a Bain and Company consultant and this is a crap product. No wonder they ran away. They gave us a $150-250 mattress for $1,500. There is no edge guard, the springs are massive (poor quality and will result in them poking out soon) and the construction of the product is low quality. I was told it was commercial grade. No way, having worked in a dozen mattress factories this is a crap product. The fabric is not tacked down. There is 1/8th inch of memory foam at best in this "memory foam mattress". The Bambo brand they sell is poor at best and won't last you 2 months at a condo. I've been Bamboozed! Don't you fall for the same trap. read more

I dunno what happened to our old mattress, but after moving it during our fall cleaning, it was messed up. One sleepless night was all it took, and we headed to the Maui Bed Store the next day. We got there, and Samantha was extremely helpful, and totally not pushy-- a huge difference from the last time I bought a bed. She asked how soon we needed it, and because we were kind of desperate, she only showed us models that they had in stock. Out of the two firm models she showed us, we picked one, and she got us on our way pretty quickly. She was extremely clear about what to expect for the delivery process, which, for an additional small fee, included haul-away. We were probably in the store for less than twenty minutes total. Fast forward to two days later. The delivery guy, Mitchell, called me (as Samantha had said) about thirty minutes before delivery. Quick and efficient despite working alone, he quickly got the old one out and the new one in. He was exceedingly polite, and was very careful while moving the mattresses around in my tiny house. The process was just about as painless as it gets, and way less stressful than our last mattress purchase. The bed itself is great too, and I think it will last us quite a while! read more

Nice company. Easy to meet up with them at their showroom at my convenience. Their prices beat others and they have a better warranty. I'd go for their mattress encasement too. Warranty for 15 yrs and keeps spills, bedbugs and mites away from your mattress. Easy and fast delivery by nice guys (Isi and Phil). read more

Had a great experience with this company. Originally ordered two mattresses that seemed to be fine at the store but after sleeping on them for a few nights they were just too firm. Went back in and spoke with Chis who was very knowledgeable and steered us in the right direction. Ended up getting the pillow top version of our original mattress and all is well. Wanted to thank Dino the owner who was very accommodating and let us swap out the mattresses with no hassles. Great customer service and selection, definitely recommend checking them out for any of your mattress needs here on Maui! ALOHA read more

Excellent store! We needed beds right away for our rental and and Maui Bed Store really came through. Dino didn't overcharge and offered some great ideas along the way. His delivery was super fast (the next day) and his crew came in and set everything up. These guys are the best on the island I've been told-- all the locals use them! That's enough of a recommendation for me. Dino and his staff totally lived up to their reputation!! Thanks, Dino!! read more

They were way cheaper than anyone on the island. They have good quality products. We bought both a mattress and a platform bed with drawers. Everything is good quality and is holding up well. Very pleased. The only thing you have to be aware of is that they don't have store hours, so it's by appointment only. So you have to call first. PS They even gave us a complimentary gift card after we got the bed. Good customer service. read more

Wow. Full service, and helpful all the way. I needed beds for my rental condo, I mean, I really needed beds. I had finally had enough and a friend recommended that I call Maui Bed Store. The sign on the door said to call for help, so I did, Samantha came and let us in and it was smooth sailing from then on. The prices are amazing, her help was perfect. When there was something I wanted unavailable, I was upgraded at no charge. I bought beds AND furniture. The delivery guys were on time, and so easy to work with. Set up was a breeze. They had to go get another piece and came back with ! another upgrade! Love these people! And Mahalo for the gift card too! read more

We needed a bed a boy are we glad we stopped in and talked to Dino. He was extremely helpful and the prices are the best on the island. Richie and Isi delivered and set up the bed and the experience could not have been better. Thanks guys. read more

This was the BEST experience I have ever had in making a bed purchase. From the patient and professional manner we experienced with Dino in the showroom (attentive, but not hovering), to the timely delivery and expert set-up by Walker and Mitchell - it was Perfect. And did I mention the bed is Exactly what we were looking for! If you want to buy a bed on Maui, Go HERE. read more

If you are looking for great prices on mattresses I would definitely recommend them. But, just a heads up that all sales are final. If you have any problems with your bed after purchase, you're on your own. I met with Dino and he just wasn't very warm, friendly, and personable. Even when making the appointment over the phone he didn't leave me with a feeling of confidence or appreciation for my potential business. He seemed very disinterested and disengaged. I wanted to give Maui Bed Store five stars. But, Dino's personality and customer service leaves something to be desired and I didn't feel comfortable doing business with this store. No returns, poor customer service, wouldn't even write up an estimate. read more

We bought a bed frame/platform from the Maui Bed Store a couple of years ago and now we have termite droppings from the head of the bed in a circle. We live on the second floor on a condo here in Kihei and are wondering if we also have to also replace the mattress at OUR expense??? The owner does NOT respond! read more

What a great experience! I bought a bed from Maui Bed store's Kihei location in Sept 2013. I needed to replace beds for both a master bedroom and guest room for a rental condo. I dealt with Samantha and she was very courteous and professional. There prices are extremely competitive and fair. The delivery and set up of the new beds went as planned. I was very pleased with my experience and I would highly recommend them for your bedding needs! read more

Our service at Maui bed store was excellent. We found the prices to be very reasonable and they even compared to Costcos. However, the service was incredible. We had an appointment and made the decision on the mattress for our wall bed within 20 minutes. It was delivered Within a couple days and the two guys doing the delivery we're great. They were very thoughtful and caring and even asked if they should remove their shoes before entering our condo. They made the delivery process very easy and were great about removing our old mattress. Delivery was also very prompt and I would remember this business to everyone. As owners of Valley Isle condo number 306, we recommend them to all owners of other condos. read more
