We found another hidden treasure trove on Maui. Da Warehouse has taken over 2 niche markets. They sell new, unique, imported furniture items in the front of the store. If you're into hand carved, one-of-a-kind pieces from the far east, check it out. In the back (the warehouse), they sell used furniture from local resorts that have remodeled their units. This is what we were interested in, but sorta worried that the items would be cheaply made. We've seen particle board dressers with holes in the top for bolting down lamps. This was not the case. The pieces we looked at were obviously high quality with a few marks from expected wear. There were lots of different tables, night stands, chairs, hotel art, mirrors, televisions, lamps and bedding. The kind of stuff you would find in your room at a resort. We bought a huge credenza with doors and drawers that fit perfectly and operate smoothly. Even noticed that the back was solid plywood. We've been through all of the furniture stores on the island and did not find a anything that compares to the quality. And the price was so low. We also bought an end table from the same resort. Also, great quality. Drawers work smoothly. I notice drawers because I've seen pricey items elsewhere with no drawer guides. Both items came with glass tops. Nice. Da Warehouse doesn't have a shipping department. They might want to add that in the near future. But, they know a guy. This is a great spot when you need a deal on furniture. We needed to find a good supporting side chair for a client. We found ten, all alike. Hotel recycles. Extra well built. On Monday is a big sale, price on the chosen chair will be down to $25.00. That's pretty darn good for a Decent chair. I would have bought it for us if we had room. We need a chair like that. Mirrors, pictures in frames, lamps and shades and pull out couches. -And chairs. This is where I shop first. read more

A friend told us about this place that sells furniture from resort remodels so went to check it out. It's easy to find (next to Goodwill) lots of parking. The front showroom is small and has new imported furniture. You go through a door into their huge warehouse filled with 100's of mirrors/pictures & day we were there, all kinds of livingroom looking furniture (didn't see beds or couches day we were there but they get stuff in regularly so said to come back and they might have some) . We needed a tv stand and found a perfect one-they had maybe 30 of them. The price was very reasonable but there was no way we could haul this heavy piece in our car. They really don't seem to do much delivery but were kind enough to call someone they knew who offered to come pick it up that day and bring it to our place. We will definately recommend this place to friends who need furniture. read more

Da Warehouse Liquidators: My wife and I used to be regular customers at Da Warehouse Liquidators, but after our recent experiences, we will never be returning. The quality of the items has deteriorated significantly, and the prices have become outrageous. It's honestly more economical to shop next door at Goodwill for smaller items like lamps, end tables, and mirrors. The furniture they sell is often dirty, requiring upholstery cleaning, which just adds even more cost on top of the inflated prices for couches and chairs. The real issue, however, is the attitude of the woman working there. We went in recently to pick up a couch we had purchased, and when we approached her to let her know we were there to pick it up, she barked at us, "What do you want?" Then, as she continued loading furniture, she coldly responded, "I'm busy loading furniture," which she was but the attitude was not appreciated. When we asked for her name, she rudely replied, "What's it to you?" This was not the first time we'd encountered this employee's terrible behavior. The first time we visited, she was just as rude and disrespectful, and the only reason we returned was because the "owner" was there and he was pleasant. This time, however, it was a nightmare. We had to send our delivery team back because the employee refused to help, and we were left with no assistance or consideration. I understand that she may have been busy, but that doesn't justify her rude and dismissive attitude. The lack of professionalism and customer service is inexcusable, and frankly, it has cost us more money and time than it's worth. We're leaving the island this week, and now we're faced with even more costs to reschedule our movers because of this employee's lack of assistance. We would like a refund, however, the store's policy is to not give back money, and although I respect this, we have not even picked up our couch even though we attempted to do so. We will not be shopping here again, and we would caution anyone considering this store. There are better places to shop with far more respectful and helpful staff. read more

A full mirror that would be a $ 75 - 150 was selling there for $15 bucks.. Crazy cool and the peo working there are also cool.. We have a condo on Maui and we've been gradually refreshing its appointments. New furniture is extremely expensive given the simple fact that it needs to get shipped in from the mainland. That's where Da Warehouse has stepped in. Not only do they provide great quality furniture at a reasonable price, they're keeping it out of landfills and supporting sustainability. Great local source for repurposed, high quality home furnishings! Super friendly, helpful staff (Jimi helped me and he couldn't be nicer!) and great prices- especially if you can compromise on some wear and tea I wanted a sofa that looked new, so I paid to have it reupholstered and I am thrilled with the finished product! It looks brand new and I feel great about giving this piece a second life. Expect a hefty delivery fee but it's nothing compared to trying to ship to the island! Start here if you're looking to furnish a property on Maui! It's not that easy to find good, inexpensive furniture on island, and Da Warehouse is the best! It's fun because it's used hotel furniture from various properties on Maui, which makes it a little bit of an adventure. Look stuff over carefully, because some things are broken or nicked. Between Da Warehouse, Maui Pickers Paradise (it has a new name but is located at 139 Market Street, Wailuku), and Craigslist, I furnished 90% of my 2 bedroom condo! I bought just a few things new from Bamboo Maui (local) and Wayfair (internet). There's also a good resale shop in Kihei, but by the time I found out about it, I was done buying furniture. I've heard a lot of great things about Da Warehouse and had to go check it out for myself especially since they added another location. I have to admit that it was much smaller than I expected, they have a small "showroom" if you will. My friends told stories of finding bed for under $200 and couches and tables. But when I went, according to their staff, they'd just finished liquidating the Grand Wailea. I'm sure they had some great stuff, but there was hardly anything left but end tables, lamps, mirrors, two small couches and some other random things. The prices were extremely reasonable which was encouraging to me. But no bed and that's what I was hoping for, so I struck out. I asked when they expected to have more inventory and they said maybe 6 months...wow, I guess I wrongly assumed they had stuff year round. But evidently not. In summary, I'd say this is an option if you need furniture. But maybe call first to see what they have unless you just happen to be nearby. read more

Guys this store is a liquidator of super high end used hotel furnishings! Only in Maui, right? So basically you can get super high quality pieces that are virtually indestructible for close to nothing. Plus you save this poor furniture from going into a landfill. That's a good thing. I got gorgeous coffee tables from this montage resort for almost nothing. Hey, I can't afford to stay at the montage but at least I can enjoy their furniture, right? Plus if you find something you can tell your friends! They will get like 200 coffee tables from the ritz that look exactly alike, for example. And if you hit it on a bad day, come back in a few weeks. They move a lot of furniture and have containers coming in all the time! This store should be your first stop if you are moving to the island or furnishing a new condo or house. It's freaking amazing in here. read more

Apparently "Da Warehouse" was sold to a new owner a few months ago but the previous owner still has furniture she sells there. We had a terrible experience trying to buy furniture at the store on Monday, August 9th. The guy working at the time (new owner?) was rude, he refused to answer questions, he sat at his desk staring at his cell phone while talking to us, he refused to look in the back for some chairs we wanted, he charged us $3000 for the wrong dining table and then got mad at us for HIS mistake! He finally charged us for the correct table and assured us he refunded the incorrect charge. Then we find out later HE NEVER REFUNDED the $3k! Then he refuses to schedule a delivery b/c it was "not our table". The previous owner Chelsea H. reached out to us, solved all the problems and personally delivered the table to us because she actually cares about the customer. I truly hate to leave bad reviews, although my recent botched transaction with this company has left me with much more to be desired! It's real simple: My husband and I purchased one of their Time share resort purchased couches for our new apartment. The sales guy was very helpful and friendly. They sold us on their products and on their immaculate reputation. I had concerns with the couch only because we live on third floor with no elevator and narrow stairs....not an easy move. We needed their service to deliver and install it. The couch was $199. We paid another $200 for delivery and were to pay $50 to movers when installed into apartment(never pay everything until the job is done, right?). The guys who sold it to me were nice and made it very clear to me that they could move the couch into apartment; even if they needed "3 or 4 guys". This Monday the truck showed up with the couch and only 2 guys. I explained to them where the apartment was and to my surprise they were hearing about the apartment being on the third floor for the first time. Long story short, they couldn't get it up with 2 guys. The lead guy simply said that he could easily get it up the stairs with another guy or 2....it wasn't the weight as the issue but the length and width. They needed more people to guide it and hold it over the railing. He told me that he would be back Wednesday morning with 4 guys and he'd get it done. I shook his hand, smiled and walked away; these things happen and it will just take another 2 days.....NO BIG DEAL. This is the aloha state after all:) What happened? The manager at the showroom called and said that the job was impossible and that I would have to move it myself!?? I quickly told him that his moving boss guy told me the opposite. So basically the store decided it was too much work and money to return with 4 guys and instead they would just leave me with a couch on the curb. I told them this was unacceptable and that I didn't appreciate the boss being untruthful. The job was completely do able. He just didn't want to pay for it, no matter what the cost. But the real cost comes from writing this review and telling people on the island how poorly we were treated and lied to. I ended up having to fight to get a refund after going into the showroom and calling the manager out on his lie. He knew it. I knew it. He wouldn't even look at me in the eye. And when I was in front of him he had no problem with the return. If this company kept their story consistent and/or just did what they promised despite not making as much money, this review never gets written and I have a beautiful couch in our new apartment. I hate writing bad reviews because they have a lasting effect. However, when you are lied to and have your time wasted because of incompetence, the situation needs to be straightened out. It's amazing that with all their promises and paying more money in delivery fees than I paid for the actual couch, they still allowed this to happen. Basically, once store manager (name rhythms with Kimmy) was caught in his lie he decided to double down on that lie instead of eating his pride, doing the right thing and finishing the job. read more

Purchased a king size mattress, took it home, found that it didn't fit the industry standard king size bed frame we had purchased from a different store. We took the measurements and found that this was not a true kingsize mattress, tried to return it, and was told that it was our fault for "not measuring it in the store" (!!!!!) and that they would not be able to return it even though they admitted it wasn't a true king size. I've never left a bad review in my life but I can't stand by and watch 350 dollars go down the drain. The workers who helped us (Alice, Mike and the sweet girl with cute glasses and red hair) were kind but this is still THE worst customer service I've ever received. read more

Trinity is by far the best person I've got the pleasure of working with here. She helped me with options for a new bed that I love! Not only that but she was fully aware of her inventory, inventory prices and specials they have here. And I'm very thankful for the gentleman who was nice enough to help me load my bed on my car for only $5 AND he taught me how to do it as well. I'll definitely only be shopping at this place for home appliances. I'll also only be doing business with Trinity as long as she's employed. I'm updating my review to a mediocre three star because well, I think their offerings for the past three months or so have been pretty ghastly. The furniture is all beat to shit and I can't even stop into their warehouse without having a sneezing fit from all of the dust they don't bother to wipe off of incoming furniture. Might still be a good place to buy furniture that you'd want to re-upholster or refinish but don't expect to find much that's ready to be placed in your home or office. read more

What a find! If you are new to the island or simply looking to refurbish your place, but low on funds stop here! This NOT the lap of luxury, but most of the inventory has found its way here from some of the most upscale resorts on the island. Most of the merchandise is in good to very good condition. We purchased a queen size sofa bed, a teak table, two chairs, an ottoman and a print for $230! All in very good condition. Delivery is steep and you will incur an additional charge to have them bring it into your home. That being said we still paid under $500 for everything. The least expensive sofa bed we could find anywhere else was a $900 futon. Michael was great! read more

I have bought many things here and am usually very happy with my purchases. The one exception is a TV, be very careful, mine was locked in Hotel mode and is not useable any other way...you can hook you cable box to it and view channels but will not be able to access any of the tv's features because of the hotel lock. I was told first that I need a remote, which I bought, that would not let me access any of the other features of the tv, I went back in and was told to hook it to HDMI and it would be good. Not true, still no access, you can't use your own antenna, just get tv from your cable company... I then went in a 3rd time and they told me that yeah, you need to use your cable box... you basically can only use it as a monitor to display from your cable box to the TV, it actually won't function as a TV, only as an output device from your cable box. For many this is fine but don't hope to access any picture, sound or other functions of your TV, you can't.. I finally gave up getting the run around, now, I'm stuck with a nice monitor but it I don't have access to any of the actual features of a TV you buy from a store. It took many time in before they admitted this to me... I was also told on my third time in to bring it in and Michael would unlock it for me, not true, he can't.. I will still shop there for some things but will be much more careful in what I buy. I will never buy a TV there again. It is better to just spend a little more money and get one from CostCo or Walmart. read more

I would have to say beware when shopping here. I ordered about $800 worth of furniture to be delivered (shipped) three months ago. The individual who worked with me was excellent! I felt very good about the experience and was quite pleased with the furniture I selected. There was only one problem. I never received it. Out of the blue, the sales representative just vanished into thin air. My texts and calls were no longer returned and emails to the company's online address were ignored. To this day, I am baffled, and I would certainly never shop with Da Warehouse again. As a walk-in customer, who lives on Maui, you may indeed have a great experience. I live on one of the outer islands, though, and I would suggest their dealings with online purchases/shipping/etc. may be, in some regard at least, fraudulent. They did not steal anything from me. I never gave my account information, which is the strangest part of all. They simply worked with me over a period of several days to make my selections, helped me set up delivery here - I am disabled - gave me a day to decide if there was anything else I wanted to add, and then never called me again. After two weeks of trying everything to contact them, I gave up. It was a very disappointing, as well as an extremely perplexing, experience. read more

Da Warehouse is truly addicting. I drop in frequently if not to buy, just to browse & feast my eyes on the unique pieces of furniture & home decor they may have, often one of a kind pieces. The variety of furniture & home decorations offered, often one if a kind, is especially unique, solid & of the highest quality. Having recently moved to Maui, after researching, I find no better place to shop furnuture, home decor & even appliances when available, a stunning variety. My home has been fully furnished by Da Warehouse items. If not immediately available, patience pays off as I usually find the item in the next few visits. Prices are shockingly reasonable & the quality outstandingly EXCELLENT! I, more than highly recommend Chelsea's Da Warehouse. Chelsea & her staff are very professional, helpful, honest & offer suggestions only in the best interest of the customer e.g. I wanted to purchase a one if a kind item that needsd to be indoor but wanted to have it in a covered area outdoor. The prices are reasonable, and the furniture is nice. I did not have a problem with that. But the lady that is in the store located in Kahului is extremely rude, and has no concept of customer service. She does not know the word "thank you" and does not know how to smile. Terrible attitude. If you ask her a question, she treats you like you're bothering her, and that she is doing you a favor for being there. Obviously, they always sell out their inventory pretty fast, so they don't care to offer good customer service. If you don't like it, just leave, someone else will buy. This is the attitude. I had to rent a dolly from them, to take the dresser home, I paid $40.00 in cash, requested a receipt but they told me they didn't give receipts. As long as I brought it back, they would give me my $40.00 back, because the dolly itself was proof that I paid. When I brought the dolly back, the same lady asks me for the receipt of the deposit. Of course, I didn't have a receipt, and told her what the guys in the warehouse had told me when I asked them for a receipt. She has this attitude like I am trying to scam her, and then throws the $40 on the counter, without ever saying thank you or anything. And then, she has the nerve to tell me, in a scolding tone of voice: "Next time, you have to tell them to give you a receipt or else I am not going to give you your deposit!" I responded "No. You have to tell them to give receipts! you are their boss, I am not going to teach them how to do their job". That was so outrageous. I know the furniture is nice, but I will never ever go back there. I rather pay a little more but be treated with respect. She needs to learn to be humble and grateful to the customers. If it wasn't for us she would not have a job. So I do not recommend this store to anyone. read more
