They had no problem taking our payment immediately, though. Every single month it's the same story: "it'll be in next month's container." Then next month comes, and then it is again pushed to the following month's container. This has now happened for nine months straight. We would never buy anything from them again, and we'd strongly encourage others to think twice before handing over their money for a promise that never materializes.

If you're into hand carved, one-of-a-kind pieces from the far east, check it out. In the back (the warehouse), they sell used furniture from local resorts that have remodeled their units. This is what we were interested in, but sorta worried that the items would be cheaply made. We've seen particle board dressers with holes in the top for bolting down lamps. This was not the case. The pieces we looked at were obviously high quality with a few marks from expected wear. There were lots of different tables, night stands, chairs, hotel art, mirrors, televisions, lamps and bedding. The kind of stuff you would find in your room at a resort. We bought a huge credenza with doors and drawers that fit perfectly and operate smoothly. Even noticed that the back was solid plywood. We've been through all of the furniture stores on the island and did not find a anything that compares to the quality. And the price was so low. We also bought an end table from the same resort. Also, great quality. Drawers work smoothly. I notice drawers because I've seen pricey items elsewhere with no drawer guides. Both items came with glass tops. Nice. Da Warehouse doesn't have a shipping department. They might want to add that in the near future. But, they know a guy. Joel took our call and we worked out a deal for him to to the delivery right then. Quick and very friendly.

Plus we also had a birthday girl who was looking for a new chair. So when we arrived a few minutes early. I figured we'd have to wait outside until they opened. Except it was our lucky day & they didn't make us wait outside. They let us in early to browse around. Which already made us feel like VIP's getting to walk around a private showing. I also appreciated our sales person Judy for being very easy to work with. Our friend is going to be having surgery soon & she wanted to find something comfortable to help speed up her recovery. Which even Judy was even able to relate & help make the perfect recommendations to even make the sale. Plus at a more reasonable price then other locations we've browsed around. On top of that we paid for it yesterday & it's in stock to be delivered today. So thank you for making Kathi a very grateful customer. On top of that my boyfriend's mother has been wanting a new dresser for her bedroom. Which we ended up finding two matching dressers that were also on sale for a reasonable price. That is also getting delivered today too. As for my mother she just enjoyed window shopping & hanging out with her friends. I on the other hand love every opportunity to check out a business. I bought a King Jade FET mattress and platform from Maui Bed Store in January 2022. My main request…read moreon the sales call was a setup that would hold up and last long. I was told this mattress would be reliable for years and that I wouldn't have to worry. The frame they recommended with the mattress fell apart quickly. They did refund the frame, which I appreciate. The mattress itself did not last. I paid $1,400 for it and got roughly two years of use, not the long-term product I was sold. When I called recently about the warranty, the owner, Dino, gave me the manufacturer number, then said the mattress likely failed because of the frame, the SAME frame he recommended as the matching pair. That is the part other buyers should know: if the store pairs a mattress with a frame, they should own that recommendation when both products fail. The call itself was the deciding factor for this review. I said the frame on the invoice is not in the condo. I do not live at that property full time, and I was not there for delivery or haul-away (both are on the invoice). I was not accusing anyone of theft. His tone was defensive and dismissive. He first said he had zero evidence the frame was delivered, then called back and said his records showed the frame had already failed and been refunded... information that should have been shared at the start instead of treated like I should already know it. I am glad they refunded the broken frame. I would not buy another mattress here as it is like an 20 year old mattress in an 2 year old body. I would not count on a calm warranty conversation if something goes wrong later. Ask in writing how the mattress warranty works if their recommended frame fails, and get the manufacturer warranty contacts before you pay.
