    White wine flight!

I got the feeling that staff was a little, overwhelmed with it with being busy, but they were very gracious very kind answered our questions and we had a lovely warm sandwiches and wine! It's great to find a place with food options! The only reason it's not a five star is because we did not like the wines. They also have plenty of really beautiful spacious seating, quiet, nooks and crannies to sit in and enjoy your wine and company!

My friends and I set out to visit this winery and two others on a cold winter day after seeing them as part of a list in The Washingtonian. It was not our first, or even second or third, trip to wineries in Virginia, but all three wineries were new to us. This was our second stop, and after a slightly winding drive up to the main building, we entered a beautiful structure with views of the vineyard. We each ordered a self-guided tasting flight, me, a white, my friend, a red, which was served to us in the most adorable manner: three small, pre-prepared bottles on a wooden board with cards describing each of the wines. We took them upstairs where it was slightly warmer and we could sit overlooking the vineyard through the windows. Unfortunately, we pretty much hated all the wine. I didn't like a single one of the three from my flight, and would have only really described one as drinkable. What would normally be my favorite, an Albarino, was the worst of the bunch such that I didn't even finish it. My friend didn't enjoy the reds much better. We ordered baked brie to go with our wines, which was good, and made them taste better, but a visit to a winery should come with good wine, so I unfortunately don't think I'd come back to this one. If you are looking for somewhere to have lunch with your wine, it had a pretty extensive menu as far as Virginia wineries go, we had just already eaten something substantial so we didn't sample more than the brie.

The wine was pretty mediocre, though I only tasted the Vidal Blanc and the round hill white. The setting was okay. The winery is close to suburban sprawl, so you look out on housing developments when you are sitting on the patio outside. They have live music on weekends, which is nice.

Beautiful space inside and out, nice selection of small plates. Order at the wine bar or pull up to the bar for a guided tasting. Staff is happy to give you a taste of something before you commit.

My group had a lovely time at Williams Gap; worth the drive from the city. Parking was easy, staff was super friendly, and everything we had (wine, snacks, pizza) was great. They even had a water bowl for our dog, and very reasonably priced NA wine!

Pros: Decent wine Beautiful indoor section. Like you are drinking wine in your own cabin There is comfortable seating and a real fire place Outdoor seating is available. Great music selection Their wine flights are well done. Pre-poured in small bottles. Easy to transport around. Cons: As I write this review, a Covid-19 variant is running rampant. My party was the only ones wearing masks. Luckily it was not crowded upstairs. But just not as comfortable patronizing places like this. Points to note: This location is just in a newly developed residential area. The tasting room is not near the residential area so you can still feel like you are away from the city. There is a solid food menu, which is rare find.

Love this place. It's such a peaceful setting can't wait to go back when it's warmer. We've been there twice the food and the wine are phenomenal. The service is top-notch. the atmosphere is perfect for date night or relaxing with a group of friends so there's plenty of seating indoors and out prices are about what you would expect from a local winery in the DC area

A nice local winery with its own orchard on the grounds. The service is outstanding, friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable regarding the wines they produce. The food is delicious, European style servings Bake Brie, Carchuteri Boards and much more! Sit outside if possible, inside it can get really loud with the wood ceilings and wooden floors.

Great wine, great view, great people and staff! The service was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!

My husband and I came here on a Friday at the recommendation of Three Creeks, which is one of our favorite wineries. We ordered 2 flights to split and a charcuterie board. I appreciated that we were able to make substitutions to the charcuterie board and basically build our own. The wine was just ok (nothing memorable, but still enjoyable), but the charcuterie board was a true highlight! Tons of meat and cheese for the price. My only feedback is that 1 baguette isn't enough for all the meat/cheese (we bought a 2nd). I'd definitely come back for another charcuterie board and probably just pair it with a glass of wine instead of a flight.

Came here with my boyfriend for the first time as we're trying to knock out all the wineries in Virginia. We got one of each flight so that we could share them all. We also paired it with the chocolates they have from a local chocolatier. Ambiance was great and the staff was extremely nice and friendly. The rating is more for the wines as they weren't 100% to our liking. Definitely will come back to retry in a year or so we can re-experience.

The greeter directed us to the tasting bar where an equally friendly staff member helped us. They told us about the vineyard, wines and food offereings. All the wines were well balanced with a nice level of complexity. We brought 4 bottles home! This is a must visit in the Northern VA/Louden wine area. I especially enjoyed the sparkling rosé and absolutely fell in love with What Will the Women Drink. The winery itself is wonderfully eclectic, offering relaxed, almost hippie-inspired seating alongside more sleek, modern spaces that feel perfect for private reservations or events. The menu has great options, including flatbreads and charcuterie, making it easy to linger and enjoy the experience. Bonus points for being kid-friendly (if you must!)--a nice perk when so many wineries are strictly 21+.

But it was absolutely worth it. The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to talk with us. As fellow motorcycle riders, we even connected over his Harley, which made the visit feel that much more personal and enjoyable. We really liked the wine and ended up purchasing a few bottles, the Cabernet Sauvignon and La Rose, both of which were excellent. The winery itself is fairly new, but it clearly has great potential and is already off to a strong start. The tasting room is set in a converted barn and you can still see remnants of its past. It adds a lot of charm and character to the space, making it feel both comfortable and welcoming. While we didn't sit outside, the view from the property is nice and would make for a relaxing spot to enjoy a glass. Overall, I highly recommend stopping here. Their vineyard varieties are still limited--cab sauv grapes to make cab sauv wine and rosé. They also offer wines from Forever Winery, which recently closed. We had a glass of cab sauv, and for a new winery, it was remarkably good. My husband also had a Merlot from Forever Winery, which was also well done. The location, while not the easiest drive (down a dirt road), pays off with a lovely view. The ambience was lovely, and the owner was quite friendly. I highly recommend it as a new place to try and for regular visits. If they keep on the same trajectory as their excellent start, they should become known as a place for good wine, good views, and good company in a relaxing environment. You will want to bring your own food, though, since food offerings are quite limited. I expect as they grow, that will expand, but in the meantime, bring a picnic basket and enjoy your visit.

This was an extremely busy day. Everyone had the same idea because it was nice outside. The service was also pretty good for how busy it was. The staff was so nice!! They had my favorite wine (Petit Manseng) but somehow I ended up loving the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve. I even ordered a glass of it after my tasting. It was a Monday, so she decided to bring us to one of the few wineries that were open for wine tasting. Formerly a cattle ranch, this three generation 300-acre estate is a family-owned winery. The estate is beautiful with a large wine tasting area and massive patio to enjoy with their fine wines and offer a diversified menu to dine on.
