They do not seem to be knowledgeable in how insurance works and how medications get covered. You can tell that by reading some of the comments here that this has gone on for some time. I have had 2-3 instances now in which I leave a voicemail, no return call, and the office claims they were never received. That cannot and should not happen over and over. It is difficult to actually speak to someone at the office and patients are left no choice but to leave a voicemail. It is frustrating and time consuming to for the patient to constantly leave messages without any follow up from the office. The response is typically "our office is really busy." Not the patients problem and our lives are busy too. Most of us don't just sit around waiting to call the dermatologist. We have jobs and lives too, I personally find that to be a poor response to a problem. If the office is "too busy" to respond then either more staff is needed or a different system to address that part of your practice.

I was seen in 2026 and was not an issue until another visit. I saw the provider and said someone would call me. I spoke to Alyssa-Office Manager and explained situation. She stated she already spoke with Jenna-Practice Manager and I would need to leave credit card on file. They said they are being following the rules now for 2026. Explained I was already seen in early 2026 and nothing was said. She was rude and condescending. I asked to speak with Jenna and she will tell you the same thing. I still requested a call. No callback was received. Also, there was a note in my file to not allow cc on file per Jenna. Why is this not honored by Practice Manager?

I then sat in the waiting room for almost 40 minutes before going up to the front desk again to ask when I would be seen - it was then that they let me know they were running way behind schedule. Given that I had to pick my kids up by a certain time, they finally brought me back once I asked about the timing and I was only able to see a provider for a quick visit. My experience with the staff once I was see was great but I will have to reschedule my original appointment for a full body scan another day. Overall a decent medical experience but terrible timing and customer service experience.
