Our house is difficult because deliveries require carrying down 17 steps from the parking lot, and another two inside to a small kitchen, but Dan and Colin managed it with expertise. We appreciated their attitude, and think that Manny's should do whatever necessary to keep these guys working there. We didn't find out until the delivery that 1) delivery guys don't install dishwashers and 2) that an extra part was required to install the dishwasher but was not included in the sale. I believe the salesman should have informed us about those two inconveniences, hence only 4 stars.

Back in May my Mom's ice maker stopped working on her otherwise perfect condition Whirlpool refrigerator. She bought a new through Manny's and had it delivered on the 10th of May. When the delivery guys arrived the proceeded to disassemble my Mom's front door, trying to remove the storm door before doing any type of measuring or even seeing the old refrigerator to be removed. My mom informed them that it did not need to be removed that it originally came in through the door just fine. So they left the storm door half detached and proceeded into the kitchen to remove the old refrigerator. They removed all 4 handles off from the refrigerator even though again they were told it fit just fine through the door with out removing them. They put the old refrigerator into the garage and installed the new refrigerator (which came with pretty heavily dented door, which are supposed to be being replaced but at this point almost 2 months later we have little faith). The delivery guys made an attempt to reattach the handles to the old refrigerator (which is supposed to be used as a back of frig as it was in perfect condition other then the ice maker) however none of them reattached correctly and pull completely out of the door when you try to open them rendering the refrigerator completely unusable at this point. We were reassured that someone would be by to fix it. 2 weeks later a gentleman shows up, tries to fix them but the setting screws now need to be replaced. He calls his boss on speakerphone right in front of me and we are told all new screws will be ordered and they will come and fix it. After hearing nothing for another 2 weeks we touch base with Rob who asks me to send him pictures via email (the man that showed up to originally fix it also sent pictures) so he knew what we needed. I sent it within 5 minutes. After yet another 3 weeks of hearing nothing we call again. We speak to Rob again who tells us we better not be expecting them to give us a while new refrigerator and after an unpleasant conversation of reassuring him we just want the handles that their guys broke fixed he asks for another email with pictures etc. We tell him we will send another email (which I did immediately) and call back in 15 minutes so we can hopefully get a resolution finally. After 15 minutes we call and are told Rob left for the day and now Brandon needs an email because he has no idea what we are talking about. Same situation, email sent, call back. He tells us no screws have ever been ordered and that we can come to them and he will take screws from another refrigerator and we can fix it ourselves. At this point we are so over it we agree to go get them the next day. July 3rd. My mom shows up to get her screws and is treated like an idiot!! They have no idea what she is talking about, no idea what she wants and again is told they will NOT be giving her a new refrigerator! Not ONCE did anyone mention wanting a new refrigerator except them!!! Just fix the sh!t that YOU ruined! So after 2 months and a whole lot of BS WE had to go to them to get the pieces required to fix something they destroyed and WE are now responsible for fixing it AND still no new door for the $1800 brand new refrigerator that came damaged!! Completely ridiculous and do NOT recommend Manny's!!! Update July 5th, the screws we were given are useless as the holes were completely stripped when they were removed.

We are enamoured by the high-touch service of the staff here. The various jewelry collections are gorgeous. Modern jewelry enthusiasts will also not be disappointed here, in terms of selection. You can even find vintage jewelry at Pearce. We were charmed by a carving in a cameo wearing a tinier cameo. The white-glove service here cannot be overstated. My grandmother's precious jewelry and some other beloved items were ran over on Route 89, and the team rallied to find what could be repaired. The staff are quick to offer cost options, as well. For instance, to replace a lobster claw clasp we need to pay over $200. But for one of our bracelets, the $40 clasp option was just fine. They will repair your jewelry and watches on site. If the repair is more complex, there is a watch technician who will pick your watch up on the weekend and return it the following week. And when I did this, there was a precise invoice prepared with a photo of my watch on the print-out. Very much appreciated the process, here, which counterbalances the repair turnaround time of one week. From the moment you walk in, as soon as the staff are able to greet you, your needs come first. And there is an hospitality bar with coffee, tea and soft drinks available. The overall space and ambience are clean and beautiful. I have not found this level of genuinely luxurious service - defining 5 Stars - in the surrounding area nor beyond. It's not to say that folks in NH and Vermont aren't nice. From a service perspective, they are usually friendly, efficient and competent. But at Pearce Jewelers, you are walking in to a high-end, customer-first experience.

Once we let Jordan know what kind of main stone we were looking for, she got a few of them in for us to take a look at pick from, and then we picked out the setting. The whole process was extremely easy and pleasant. And the final product we received was and is absolutely beautiful. My wife still looks at the ring and mentions how she loves it over a year later. We also visited a couple times to get her and my watch straps adjusted and the service was fast. If you have any other places booked, I'd suggest you cancel those because they really have great selections here and if they don't have it on hand, they will make sure to find one that you (or our partner) will love.

I wouldn't let them pack my groceries! Our family moved from FL to VT and between my wife, my brother and myself, we packed a 28' trailer full and everything arrived with no damaged items. We hired Daniel's Moving/NEMM to pack two 28' trailers and in the end, they caused an estimated $4k-$6k worth of damages to our belongings. It's "estimated" because we've yet to receive the final invoice for some of our belongings that are being repaired. In all, the Daniel's Moving/NEMM crew showed up to our house... We told the crew that we rented two 28' trailers and even though we were renting them by the foot, that we had no problem with them using every inch of both trailers, as long as our belongings were safe. They loaded boxes with RED arrows pointing up, upside down. Boxes with 4-6 "FRAGILE" stickers on them were packed on the bottom of stacks with boxes marked "HEAVY" on top. They packed things that we asked them repeatedly NOT to pack. A box with my Mother's ashes in it, along with her fragile electronics (iPhone and MacBook) was loaded upside down and at the bottom of a heavy stack. One crew member injured himself by accepting a bet of another crew member to lift ALL of my wife's weights at the same time, the owner (Fred Allard) called me asking why one of his guys was at the ER and then said that if my wife and I didn't write out statements, that we/our insurance could be liable. After all of this, Fred Allard told us that because we didn't hire them to drive our belongings to next destination, that they are not liable. When I requested that he just file the claim with insurance, he told me that it could take up to 6 months and that it would likely be denied. After a month, I reached out for an update and was told that he had been busy with personal things and that he would file it. A week later we asked for the claim number and that's when he began ignoring us and we haven't heard from him since.
