Sale items are overpriced inventory from previous year (found out it was old inventory from the manager after they overcharged me for an item that was tagged the lower price). They represent as Sthl dealer but they have a limited selection and can't order parts or don't know how. Many check out counters but usually only one is open. Wait a long time. Very difficult to find someone to help. This store is only useful for items one can't find elsewhere or on-line. Who manages this store? read more

There's a great selection of everything you could need, but the customer service from this one lady on the register was miserable. She passive aggressively scanned and bagged my items, then when i asked for her to place my receipt in my bag that i held open for her she literally threw it in. Work on your customer service, or don't work at a job that relies on your good demeanor to get a good review. I won't be coming back, she honestly needs to retire. read more

I am Very unhappy with your company. After calling the Rochester Indiana store to confirm that they had a certain product (SKU70091214) I was told that yes, they had 7 in stock. After explaining that the Rochester store was an hour drive each way I asked if they could visually confirm. The girl would not go physically check to see if the product was in. I was told that it said in stock, so it was there. I drove the hour each way, only to find they they did NOT have the product in stock! So, I wasted 2 hours and came home empty handed. I called the corporate number on Feb. 27 and told them of my issue. The lady said they should have VISUALLY verified that the product was in stock, and that she would call that store and get back with me. And THAT was the last I heard from her. You have lazy employees that could care less about the customer. From the girl in the store, to the lady at corporate! I have a local store. But I will never spend another dime with you people. We have Ruralking and TSC in our town. They will get my money from this point on. And this "review" will be posted on Google and Yelp. Just so people know that RINNINGS could care less about their customers. Have a nice day! read more

This is a huge building full of cool stuff but not the nicest staff some I thought don't like their job. So I was looking for undershirt tanks for my husband I stopped a lady and it seems as I was disturbing her for asking a question she sighed and said it should all be in the Men's Dept. I bought a pair of winter boots here and wore them during the first storm after buying them. After taking the boots off, my feet were soaked and I had only been in ankle-deep snow. So I brought them back and I was informed that they could not issue any refund as I didn't have the original receipt and they had been worn. The purchase was made less than 3 weeks prior, I had my bank app open showing the date of purchase, and they had been worn once with no damage. I would have been happy with a store credit to get another brand, instead I will not be shopping there anymore and will discourage others from doing so as well. read more

I'm in love with this store! Last weekend, we went to the other NH location and this time we ventured over to Claremont. Great selection that I cannot do justice here but to name some items you can purchase at this location - baby chicks, outdoor clothing, all manner of outdoorsy items like tents, archery, you name it, a slew of hard to find food items from brands that you just don't see around here and even picture frames. If you remember Ames from back in the day it really reminds me of that store with a lot of Home Depot thrown in. They also had an adorable bunny to pet. Aww. I ended up buying more silly food items but I was very happy with my purchase. Who knew I needed 'industrial strength' kettle chips and apple licorice?! I'll definitely be back again! read more

Shipped in this store today and received the worst possible customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I purchased several 2 cf bags of garden soil which are very heavy for someone of 70 plus years. No helper was available. There was just one female cashier working in the whole department. She was understandably angery to have to help and I do not fault her. Management clearly is lacking. This is my second trip to this store. The first was just as bad. It is a cool store, you can bring your pets. Kinda sad that it is just a Tractor Supply with firearms though, since we already have a Tractor Supply store. They have some good deals compared to TSC and Home Cheapo, but it is definitely worth shopping around to find the best prices. Definitely the best part of Runnings is their soda pop collection up front, which features a lot of the classics. read more

I bought 6 trees at Runnings, and when they went on sale days later, they refused to refund the difference. Sad, really, sad. I have to return the trees, just so that I am not cheated. And that is what Runnings is, a big cheat. They employees are nice, but obviously ordered to never refund. You know, most if not all companies refund the difference when an item goes on sale within 30 days, so their refusal is well, terrible. So drive past and go to Home Depot where they will treat you fairly. By the way, Runnings is pricey, over priced really. And the other raving reviews are obviously done by the company itself. It is kinda scammy when you shop there. I really should have known, but was stupid. I will not make the same mistake and you should not make the mistake of shopping at Runnings. read more

I went to Runnings/Claremont today for the first time. I was very impressed. I stopped by for a sale item but spent an hour looking around the store. I ended up buying more than I came in for of course! Every sales person I spoke with was so helpful and even got a carry-out to my car for a heavy item. They had so much there and I will be back soon to get things I need for spring spruce-up of my homes. There was about everything one could need and the prices were right on! This is a store that is much needed and the customer service is great. read more

I like the store and they offer a lot of products that one could not get locally until the opened up. I get my poultry and pet feeds here. My only negative experience was being told something was available when i called and driving right over from 40 minutes away and being told they have not had any in months. read more
