I used to be a customer for years as I live locally but due to their complete disregard for their customers, and horrible management I will never return. I can get what I need from the farms I buy from directly. If you value your car or drive an expensive car be aware.

Advertised "multiple vendors" and there were 2 vendors under tents. It was a complete ghost town. A band was playing to absolutely no one. The cows we saw were completely COVERED in flies where I couldn't even see some of their faces with the layers of flies, on top of flies covering them...they looked absolutely miserable. What a cash grab. This event should have been canceled and refunded. Being unprepared is one thing...falsely advertising it at a grand event when there was nothing and no one is a different thing all together.

You can start off by taking brown bags or berry cartons at the entrance storefront. There are TONS of fields to explore: we explored fields of raspberries, elderberries, blueberries, and then you get to the apple orchards. There are SO many varieties of apples. I would make sure you have some good shoes because in some areas of the apple orchard, there are some steep inclines. If there is rain, it can also get slippery. There is also a HUGE pumpkin patch, flower fields that are available for picking, and a CORN MAZE - the latter is $6 entrance fee! Again, so much to do. Unfortunately I did not have time to experience the corn maze because it started raining by then. If I could make a suggestion, It would be nice for some of the trees to have a suspended net around the bottom of the tree (maybe this isn't optimal for weight purposes). But so many apples fall off the tree- or people drop them while picking. It seems a shame to go to waste, so would be cool if there were a way to catch them before hitting the ground and bruising/ resting in dirt. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. It was a ton of fun to visit the farm with so much to do, and delicious apples. PLUS Mac's Maple is also down the road so that was our next stop!

I've driven by many times and was hopeful they might have what I needed. Upon arrival, my adult autistic son and I began browsing the selection. A woman who worked there approached us and asked if we needed assistance. While I was speaking with her, my son, who is affectionate and enjoys making social connections, began walking toward her with clear eye contact. As his caregiver, I immediately redirected him with both body language and verbal cues, which he responded to right away, stopping several feet from her. My son is diminutive in stature, 5'6" and 135lbs soaking wet. Despite this, the woman raised her hand toward him in a strong "stop" gesture that caused him to break eye contact and step back. While I can't speak to her personal experiences, the gesture felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive toward my son, who meant no harm and was simply seeking connection. That moment left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and we chose to leave without making a purchase. Every customer deserves to feel respected, including those with special needs. What we got was the owner ,Dave, driving 45 minutes to our home to look at the tree. He climbed under the tree, dug the mulch out and added soil and fertilizer to the root ball. We have heard myths and legends of ancient customer service such as this, but we were skeptical. Imagine our shock and delight to happen upon it here in the lakes region ?
