Denise C.

So, after receiving four texts and ten emails within a week from WAC, I had had enough. I called and told them I didn't appreciate the nagging, that I was aware of the upcoming appointments. I also told them that the outrageous estimate they sent me for procedures outside the appointments for my pets rabies vaccinations were shocking. I told her since they couldn't understand that I wanted to get the vaccines so they wouldn't lapse and would have to schedule visits for everything else at another time due to being called in to work that I would have to take my animals elsewhere from now on.) She started to lecture me on their policies and I told her to cancel their appointments and that we wouldn't be back. Earlier in the week, I called to discuss the estimates I had received for the upcoming visits. The totals were shocking! I mentioned that I didn't want to see a particular male vet because I wasn't happy with how he had dealt with my cat the previous visit. The young man I spoke with basically went off on me about their policies. They had padded in a tranquilizer on the estimate...really? My cat wasn't the problem. FAR TOO PRICEY! I found a lovely vet that same day who gently spoke to my pets and was wonderful! The cost of the rabies vax was almost half what this group wanted to charge. The visits for both cats was about 1/5 the cost of WAC. Oh, and to the snippy young man who answered the phone earlier in the week and snapped at me when I questioned the estimate total-how dare you speak to a customer as you did? I have every right to know why you are recommending items for my beloved pets! Their attitude here is AWFUL!! Try The Ark (very gentle people!), try VetCo (very gentle, lovely woman who truly loves animals! And, very kind support staff! Also, very affordable! These two clinics are highly recommended by this pet Mom who loves her animals enough to seek out the best care for them!!)

After Willakenzie

WORST VET EVER. charged me hundreds for treatments I didn't need, missed RINGWORM that has now contaminated the entire household (including our other cat and the humans), and sent me home with a cream that burned half of my kittens face off ( they charged us an expensive emergent fee for the return fee to address that, the issue THEY CAUSED, only to tell us to stop using the cream and not give us anything to help her). Terrible place that misses everything, lies to you, overcharges, and leaves your animals sicker than you brought them in. This is my first yelp review ever because I feel like I need to warn people.

Took my brand new puppy to Willakenzie for the first time this week and I'm already a big fan. There was such a warm welcome on arrival by the desk employees, followed by a great experience with the doctors. You can really tell they care about animals and their owners. Also, really reasonably priced in my opinion! Stanley gives them 4/4 paws too

Miki's experience at Willakenzie Animal Clinic for the extraction of 2 broken teeth was excellent. They had to fit her in, and did so as quickly as they could. They treated Miki and me with professional warmth, expert skill and were happy to answer all my questions and educate me about the entire process. We were kept well updated during the surgical experience. Despite the restrictions mandated by the Covid 18 pandemic, the staff were easily able to communicate their genuine investment in Miki's well-being and were highly effective in connecting and communicating with me. I highly recommend this clinic.

We LOVE Dr. Brandt. She takes the best care of our two bluetick coonhounds. Both of my dogs love going in to see her. She's very knowledgeable and thorough with our boys. The prices are very reasonable and appointments are usually available within the week that I call. Everyone in the clinic is very friendly and helpful. They have high value treats on hand to make the dog's experience exciting and positive instead of stressful.

Cisco and Philbert say thank you!

I sent an email to them requesting information and never heard back. I can only imagine what the rest of their service is like.

The best clinic in Eugene. Caring staff who schedule perfectly so wait time is minimal.

Just moved to Eugene, very happy to find this vet clinic. All employees were very friendly, and their curbside appointments worked well.

Ask the Community - Willakenzie Animal Clinic

Do they offer options for dog aggressive dog loves humans though?

Our clinic has a side door entrance that leads to an exam room in the back of the clinic, which is perfect for our furry friends who prefer their human pals.

What are the rates for a office visit?

I don't remember the exact rate, Im thinking around $40-$45. What I do know is they wont take advantage of you once your in the office. If something is really needed its because it is. My beloved dog I took in they could of ran tests galore but she… Read more

I just love the sensitivity vibe at Bush Animal Hospital…read more There are pheromone diffusers and towels for nervous cats and dogs. I had to put my beloved Tuxie Darby cat down last week, not all of the sudden, I mean he was 16ish years old. I found the entire experience designed around my emotional needs. Mr Tux made it a quick Irish manx goodbye by developing heart disease and evidencing it only for his final week. He had stopped eating and we went in to see Dr Newman to see if perhaps he had megacolon or something fixable. When we got the bad news, fluid on his lungs and body mass loss, the entire staff was very well spoken and supportive. Tuxie could not have received better care!

I wish I had paid closer attention to the negative reviews before allowing them to provide services…read moreto my little girl (my cat). The self-proclaimed manager/ owner of this establishment is either absolutely clueless and devoid of any knowledge of finance and business (e.g. pricing points, knowing whether she is making a profit or not, etc) OR she is deliberately deceitful in order to mask the true costs of the services provided. BACKGROUND: I wanted a routine dental cleaning for my little girl. I was fine with the possibility of dental extractions, as my angel is a little bit older, and I know eventually it is inevitable. I have taken each of my cats into a vet - NOT THIS CLINIC (I moved from out of state) - in the past, and felt comfortable with the procedure. What I did not know is that, unlike other clinics I have have had great dental cleaning experiences in the past, the owner/ manager of this clinic DOES NOT KNOW and REFUSES or is incapable of understanding her business' "Dental Plan" financial structure. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU as a client: (1) You will be gaslit into accepting random pricing without justification. There was even an attempt to convince me that I should be happy they clipped my cat's nails for free while under anesthesia, versus the $50 they normally charge (that was the only itemized charge they disclosed to me). Ironically, during the previous visit, the veterinarian had commented that I "did a good job" clipping her nails. And nail clipping at ANY other vet has never surpassed $12. (2) You will not be able to submit a full insurance claim (ALL insurance companies require an itemized list of the pricing associated with the services provided). It would be like grocery shopping, seeing a total bill of $900, and never being able to verify WHY that total is what it is. ADDITIONALLY: The client to staff communication is horrible. Horrendous. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. I have been told 3 different things (price-wise, procedure-wise, practice-wise) on the same day that have nothing to do with an adjustment of a quote. poorly managed organization. Ultimately, I am not complaining about price (I can't refute it - the manager can't even explain her pricing), but LACK of QUALITY OF SERVICE. Virtually EVERY single visit was an "OOPS!" FINAL NOTES: I am happily with a new clinic, which I transferred to the day after my sweetie's appointment with this absolute mess of a clinic.
