I have been a client since 2018. It was a very nice and thoughtful place and never forced you to do any extra fees around that time. If you scheduled a vaccine, they will only charge for that. Since 2019, after they re-constructed, everything looked new. Then they started to charge me a potential fee which they called an off-schedule consultant fee without asking me whether I want to do that. I do remember that they would check the weight, and temperature and ask me some questions about my dog's situation (which is free and that's everything they must do before the shot). But now, this kind of thing becomes an extra fee of around 30 dollars. Today, I brought my dog to get the vaccine, they put this extra charge on my bill, I asked the young woman whose name is April at the front desk, "what is that," she said, "you must pay for it." I asked her what was included in this fee, She asked me whether the staff member checked the lungs and something else. I said they didn't. I asked how those simple things ( check weight, temper, and ask me some questions) are worth 30 dollars? The young woman said, " you must pay for it. I could talk to them to do that because you must pay for it. " I don't know whether she acts the same ( the aggressive and arrogant way )to other customers or just did this to me because I am not an American? She said that was the policy here to check the dog is healthy before they gave the shot. But let me ask you, you've never done any checking on my dog, how did you guy make sure my dog was healthy before you guys gave her the shot? Based on what you've told me and what you've done for my dog, apparently, that was illegal to give the shot to my dog without checking on the situation of her health. Also, the technician gave the shot to my dog and the doctor was not there the whole time of this visit. Also, they didn't want me to be there with my dog during the visit, so how did I know what you've done for my dog?? I insisted on it to stay with my dog and saw the whole process of what they've done for her. I felt horrible, and it just made me have goosebumps while recalling the visits during the pandemic time, they didn't allow me to go inside, and I start to question myself, did they really give the shots to my dog?? April asked me to come back to the room, they did a pretty simple and brief check on my dog, then they took my money. This time the real doctor was there. After we've done with this brief check for my dog, the elder woman at the front desk asked the doctor " which exam you did do? Full exam or half?" the doctor said, " half." Why did she ask the doctor that question? You guys already decided to check me about the fee, you guys didn't know what you've done for my dog? The only explanation of the reason why the elder woman asked the doctor that question is that they've known they didn't do anything related to the consultation/exam fee but they wanted to charge me. I felt very upset about it. I went back to talk to them, the other woman at the front desk explained that " what your dog was experiencing was like, you go to get the flu shot and the doctor asked you couple questions." I said, what you meant was, this 30 dollars only included checking the weight, and temper, and asked me a couple of questions about my dog? She said, yes. I cannot believe that! Let me ask you, do you pay for the two bills to the doctor who gave the shot to you, one is for the questions the doctor asks you, and the other is for the shot? It is like a robbery seriously!!!! I feel extremely disappointed about your service and the unprofessional way to treat the pets! I am done with it! Arrogant young woman at the front desk. You guys really need to think about how to improve your service! I asked them when the manager would contact me, they said they didn't know. After seeing the review, they texted me saying that the manager would contact me on Monday. Now you are sure that your manager will contact me??? Their manager contacted me, it made me so surprised that the manager said she was told I wanted to talk to her. excuse me??? Your staff member couldn't explain clearly about their mistake to my visit of the potentially extra charged on my bill, then they said they would ask the manager to contact me to explain it. Now they told you I want to talk to you??? Spending time on how to improve your service and not charge customers potentially extra fee instead of making up the lies.

Apollo can run & play after PRP injections. Thank you

Just wanted to let you know that Apollo is up to daily 45 min walks with playing fetch and no need for Tramadol. He just takes Galiprant and is very happy. PRP is working very well. Thank you gor his new quality of life. Mary Ann

Grimlock is tired, but super thankful for the level of care he got during his stay at VRC Delta Oaks!

The care felt genuine and my dog was made to feel like he was the only one in the room. His needs were put first. The upsells were what I expected and never felt that unneeded services, shots, meds, etc were pushed on us or him.

I personally contacted the clinic 40 minutes before the appointment to alert them to a history of violence in the home, including a report that the dog had been struck in the head with a chair. When the police arrived to perform a welfare check, Raven was fully sedated and crated, meaning she was stable and posed no immediate threat. Despite this, the clinic chose to facilitate a terminal request based on the owner's medically impossible claims, including that the dog had rabies, was a cannibal, and had a brain that outgrew its skull. The clinic failed to report the suspected abuse, ignored clear medical red flags, and bypassed standard behavioral protocols, choosing instead to fulfill a euthanasia on demand request for an owner displaying obvious instability. To make matters worse, the clinic's Practice Manager, Colleen, has used her public social media profile to endorse comments that mock the local rescue community and dismiss the tragic, preventable death of this animal. When management is willing to publicly align themselves with such a lack of empathy, it confirms that these ethical failures are systemic. I have filed a formal complaint with the Oregon Veterinary Medical Examining Board and AmeriVet corporation. I strongly urge any pet owner who values ethical and compassionate care to look elsewhere for their veterinary needs.

I just love the sensitivity vibe at Bush Animal Hospital…read more There are pheromone diffusers and towels for nervous cats and dogs. I had to put my beloved Tuxie Darby cat down last week, not all of the sudden, I mean he was 16ish years old. I found the entire experience designed around my emotional needs. Mr Tux made it a quick Irish manx goodbye by developing heart disease and evidencing it only for his final week. He had stopped eating and we went in to see Dr Newman to see if perhaps he had megacolon or something fixable. When we got the bad news, fluid on his lungs and body mass loss, the entire staff was very well spoken and supportive. Tuxie could not have received better care!

The self-proclaimed manager/ owner of this establishment is either absolutely clueless and devoid of any knowledge of finance and business (e.g. pricing points, knowing whether she is making a profit or not, etc) OR she is deliberately deceitful in order to mask the true costs of the services provided. BACKGROUND: I wanted a routine dental cleaning for my little girl. I was fine with the possibility of dental extractions, as my angel is a little bit older, and I know eventually it is inevitable. I have taken each of my cats into a vet - NOT THIS CLINIC (I moved from out of state) - in the past, and felt comfortable with the procedure. What I did not know is that, unlike other clinics I have have had great dental cleaning experiences in the past, the owner/ manager of this clinic DOES NOT KNOW and REFUSES or is incapable of understanding her business' "Dental Plan" financial structure. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU as a client: (1) You will be gaslit into accepting random pricing without justification. There was even an attempt to convince me that I should be happy they clipped my cat's nails for free while under anesthesia, versus the $50 they normally charge (that was the only itemized charge they disclosed to me). Ironically, during the previous visit, the veterinarian had commented that I "did a good job" clipping her nails. And nail clipping at ANY other vet has never surpassed $12. (2) You will not be able to submit a full insurance claim (ALL insurance companies require an itemized list of the pricing associated with the services provided). It would be like grocery shopping, seeing a total bill of $900, and never being able to verify WHY that total is what it is. ADDITIONALLY: The client to staff communication is horrible. Horrendous. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. I have been told 3 different things (price-wise, procedure-wise, practice-wise) on the same day that have nothing to do with an adjustment of a quote. poorly managed organization. Ultimately, I am not complaining about price (I can't refute it - the manager can't even explain her pricing), but LACK of QUALITY OF SERVICE. Virtually EVERY single visit was an "OOPS!" FINAL NOTES: I am happily with a new clinic, which I transferred to the day after my sweetie's appointment with this absolute mess of a clinic.
