The office is small and clean with a friendly staff. Dr Buer was great with our nervous little guy, and the price was fair.

When we spoke to the reception staff Kayla, she was exceptionally kind, calming and reassuring. We were initially set up with an appointment on Wednesday with Dr Daly, however later in the day an appointment with Dr Csiszer came available on Tuesday. We came into the clinic and were greeted by friendly staff, in a very clean reception and waiting space. The office does NOT have the typical vet smell, and has plenty of space for waiting without interacting with other pets. We waited a short time and filled out paperwork, and then were called to the back. We met with a very kind vet tech, who walked through our pets health history and then took him to the back for the initial exam with the Dr. Dr. Csiszer came to the exam room to talk us through options after consulting with Dr. Daly and then sent the vet tech back with an estimate for the surgical procedure to place a plate and pins in our pets jaw. We opted to leave our pet over night to expedite the process to get him into surgery, by Wednesday mid day, he was in surgery. In total, he spent 6+ hours in surgery with Dr Csiszer, and consult from Dr. Daly. She called at 8:30 pm to provide an update on his condition and spent 20+ mins on the phone with me explaining what they did, how the procedure went, and how my pet was doing. She answered my questions and put me at ease. On Thursday we picked up our boy at 10:30am after receiving very exceptional instructions from Bettina. The check out staff was kind and efficient. While the procedure was not inexpensive, you absolutely get what you pay for, amazing care and treatment of your animal.

He took a turn for the worst the past couple weeks, not eating or pooping, bobbing his head, peeing outside the box, and today he started bleeding from his mouth. He was in end-stage FIV and the vet here suspected he had a mass in his mouth that had ruptured. Today is a Sunday so our normal vet in Eugene was closed. This was the highest-rated emergency vet on Google so we went here, knowing we would be saying goodbye to our little man. When we arrived we went through the check-in process, then we waited for the triage nurse to come out to talk to us. They gathered our information and then took our boy back to be looked at by the doctor. We were brought back to a private and quiet room that had been set up to say goodbye. We waited a little bit before someone came in to go over everything with us, saying that the vet had looked at him and agreed that it was time. They brought him back in to us and gave us a nice soft blanket to wrap him with. Once we went through all of the info they left us alone, giving us a doorbell button to press when we were ready for the doctor to come back. We took our time saying goodbye. We took him out and wrapped him in the blanket and help him. It was the only love he knew - he was abused in the past and we were the only ones who ever cared for him. He was terrified of people but in his final moments he was loved, cared for, and caressed. When we were ready we called the vet in and she did the deed. She was very gentle and kind with him and she treated him with respect before, during, and after he was gone. We said goodbye and left when it was done. These people were incredibly kind and compassionate during an incredibly difficult moment. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. They let our bub die with dignity and did not rush us or push us at any point. They will be our only trusted emergency vet any time our other pets need care when our usual vet is closed.

Due to moving here a few months ago, not having an established vet, AND it being a holiday week, we couldn't get into any vets nearby. While calling vets, our dog's seizing became continuous, and we quickly realized this wasn't something she could come back from. She's had a heart condition and has shown signs of mental and physical decline for years. We ultimately brought her into the hospital to say goodbye (we were a mess) and I can't thank this team enough for their quick response, compassion, and understanding. I've never had to put a dog down before. I always imagined we'd do it at home and have more time, but they made the experience the best it could be. A few days ago, I received a card in the mail. Handwritten notes from the staff. Some messages mentioning details about her. They were listening and cared. Also sent paw prints and nose prints. It was something I wasn't expecting but it meant the WORLD. I've had an extremely tough time losing my Nella. She was a part of me and our family for so long. Thank you, all. We are forever grateful for the experience we had.

They were so kind and compassionate and took extraordinary care of our sweet boy. We received updates and pictures of our dog the entire time he was there. They even communicated with our vet and researched all things possible to try to help him. They were the bright spot in a terribly hard situation. We highly recommend EVH. So, I thought I should write my own review so others wont be worried. I have a federal license to have exotic animals for educational purposes and my fennec fox became ill at one of the worst times. Vets that can treat them are limited even at the best of times. His usual vet was unavailable and after some calls around I was suggested to call here. It was new news to me that they except exotics now. I called first and came in when they said the exotic vet started his shift. They took him in back right away while I filled out the paperwork. There was a wait of course since it's an ER for animals but I wasn't focused on the time. I've waited longer in other situations. It'll depend what cases are showing up. Everyone was nice. The vet tech took a through history. The vet was knowledgeable and explained things clearly. He even had the fennec reference ranges, but I had brought my copy that I have, since that's not always the case for exotics. They sent regular photo updates while he was hospitalized, so I included a couple. They also encouraged my visiting him or calling. He came home after a day and a half and is improving. As far as cost, it was actually not that bad. I'd say it's about on par with the current pricing at my regular vet, if we had to do that many tests, treatment and hospitalization.

I just love the sensitivity vibe at Bush Animal Hospital…read more There are pheromone diffusers and towels for nervous cats and dogs. I had to put my beloved Tuxie Darby cat down last week, not all of the sudden, I mean he was 16ish years old. I found the entire experience designed around my emotional needs. Mr Tux made it a quick Irish manx goodbye by developing heart disease and evidencing it only for his final week. He had stopped eating and we went in to see Dr Newman to see if perhaps he had megacolon or something fixable. When we got the bad news, fluid on his lungs and body mass loss, the entire staff was very well spoken and supportive. Tuxie could not have received better care!

The self-proclaimed manager/ owner of this establishment is either absolutely clueless and devoid of any knowledge of finance and business (e.g. pricing points, knowing whether she is making a profit or not, etc) OR she is deliberately deceitful in order to mask the true costs of the services provided. BACKGROUND: I wanted a routine dental cleaning for my little girl. I was fine with the possibility of dental extractions, as my angel is a little bit older, and I know eventually it is inevitable. I have taken each of my cats into a vet - NOT THIS CLINIC (I moved from out of state) - in the past, and felt comfortable with the procedure. What I did not know is that, unlike other clinics I have have had great dental cleaning experiences in the past, the owner/ manager of this clinic DOES NOT KNOW and REFUSES or is incapable of understanding her business' "Dental Plan" financial structure. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU as a client: (1) You will be gaslit into accepting random pricing without justification. There was even an attempt to convince me that I should be happy they clipped my cat's nails for free while under anesthesia, versus the $50 they normally charge (that was the only itemized charge they disclosed to me). Ironically, during the previous visit, the veterinarian had commented that I "did a good job" clipping her nails. And nail clipping at ANY other vet has never surpassed $12. (2) You will not be able to submit a full insurance claim (ALL insurance companies require an itemized list of the pricing associated with the services provided). It would be like grocery shopping, seeing a total bill of $900, and never being able to verify WHY that total is what it is. ADDITIONALLY: The client to staff communication is horrible. Horrendous. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. I have been told 3 different things (price-wise, procedure-wise, practice-wise) on the same day that have nothing to do with an adjustment of a quote. poorly managed organization. Ultimately, I am not complaining about price (I can't refute it - the manager can't even explain her pricing), but LACK of QUALITY OF SERVICE. Virtually EVERY single visit was an "OOPS!" FINAL NOTES: I am happily with a new clinic, which I transferred to the day after my sweetie's appointment with this absolute mess of a clinic.
